I have made the unfortunate decision to archive this cache. I no longer live in the area making maintenance a little bit harder, this cache has numerous times gone walkabout, usually I have been able to locate it and put it back in its place, however this time I could not locate which is unfortunate as I wanted to retrieve the trackable inside, so it is disappointing that this also is now lost. It also seems that the hiding spot has become a dumping ground for dog owners who find it easier to litter their pets poo instead of disposing of appropriately.

Instead of replacing the cache, it will be archived.
Thank you for those that have found the cache in the past, and apologies for those who were not able to due only

After an "Eventful" morning -- LX and Franklins Bridge Embankment Mulching we spent the afternoon catching up with a few stray caches such as this on our map. Very attractive wetland area.

We have headed to Ballarat to attend doctor appointments and in our spare time head out to areas that we have not cached in to find the many geocaches that have popped up in the forest areas. Most of the roads were acceptable, some geocachers were on walking/bike riding section which hubby hiked on and I drove the car and would pick him up along the way. All geocaches were found and were in good condition. SL TFTC

Find #2642 for me. Found at 11:21am with my dog Bonnie while visiting the area from Bendigo. This was my last find for the day as I'd planned to meet up with my ageing mother for lunch and spend some time with her. My car navigator had trouble getting me here since none of the new roads were on the map, but it was pretty easy to find the right way in to this wonderful location. Thanks for highlighting this new little oasis karlycious, thanks for the cache and congratulations on your first cache placement!

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! After 10 minutes and reading logs that indicate 'quick find', we came to the conclusion that this DR1 must be missing.

Thanks for the hunt anyway karlycious.

Sorry for the late log and a generic log. A combination of some heath issues making me not able to look at the computer for any length of time and a mishap with my phone that has caused me to lose my list of saved caches.
Found on a trip out with AusFox; and Neville_devil.
It was also AusFox's Birthday
Thank you for the hide

Logged after today’s event.
A very lovely spot here which divides the contrasts of dog box houses on one side and golden paddocks full of black Angus cows with gum trees and bush on the other.

{FTF} @ 10.13am on 30/4/21.
We saw this new cache pop up on our notifications before we even had breakfast. As we live nearly an hour away from Ballarat, we had no urgency to rush out for a FTF, as it would be highly unlikely we would beat any locals. So we had a leisurely brekky, then headed off to Beaufort to pick up a couple of things, then on to Ballarat, where we had the day plotted out at the Outdoor Expo at the showgrounds. We detoured past this cache and were surprised that we were the first names to go in the logsheet. Yes, they are lovely views from the top of the rise, and this new walking path and facilities will be even more special when soon completed. Thank you karlycious for the cache and for showing us your lovely area. And congratulations on your first cache placement.
