Except for the birds chirping it was a nice quiet morning here in the park The good hint made this a quick find this morning. Thank you.
CaptainVimes and I have crossed the ditch to attend the Geo Toroa mega in Dunedin and tour around the South Island for two weeks.Had to feel around a bit and quickly put my hands on it.Thanks Sallies and happy caching
Yay great to get this oldieFinally back in NZ and this time for a Mega. Starting in Christchurch before heading south. Lots to see and do with Kittykatch and Grimraider. Will be joining with others as the days go on.Thanks for getting me out and about Sallies
Dunedin MegaA lovely old cache close to our airbnb. Picked up on our way to dinner. GrimRaider, Joolay and I are in NZ for the Dunedin mega event. It is great to be back to see more of this beautiful country. Thanks for hiding this cache Sallies
Nice hide here that had me looking for a little bit, so decided to use the hint, and it lead me straight to it. TFTC
This morning laying in bed I did a search on some old caches placed before mid 2003 and then we went to have breakfast and this cache was a logical grab afterwards. OCW irondale. Two goals today- to check out the ocean side and to go to a lookout. Achieved both with a selection of old caches. We specifically avoided any that had logs about relentless bush bashing and knee deep mud. This cache was found quickly and exactly as the hint describes. Thankyou for maintaining this one over the yearsTFTC
TFTCThe coordinates were slightly off, so it was a bit difficult. I understood it after reading the hint. The log sheet was full.
Came for a walk to this, after seeing it on the map while I'd pulled over to stretch my legs a little. A random spot, nice to get a cache! thanks for the placement TFTC Sallies, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 1 today, making this find #4890

Zajela jsem si k parku a s detnkem odlovila keku s nejvce body v okol a taky jednu virtulku vnovanou pskm corgi. Afternoon after the rain I found some special caches like challengies and the oldies and I also took a nice walk to the Takahe lookout over the city and Port Hill for a cache from 3/2001. The path was fine, but the cache was behind a fence in a sheep pen. I had to climb over the fence and hope that there was no ram nearby. It turned out well, cache found. Beautiful views there. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic.
Found with ObnoxiousSpaceCat, have never been to this side of the park before. TFTC!
Gummi_Venus quickly made the find. Excited to have another oldie on my grid. Thanks for keeping this one going.
1MinnieMoo and I pulled up for this one today - and thankfully it was a nice peaceful find for us. A great place for a cache. TFTC Sallies
29/9/2023 Find #6670Day 21 of the Fangsoki/1MinnieMoo New Zealand South Island adventures. Today was our final day of travel, heading from Hanmer Springs back to Christchurch, ready to fly home tomorrow. We pulled up and wandered over to make a nice quick find in a quiet spot. The drizzle may have been keeping people away a little today. Thanks for the cache Sallies.
spent 6 great weeks in New Zealand with my The start was a bit bumpy (Cyclone Gabrielle) but then it got better and better. We travelled to both islands and discovered a lot. We photographed and filmed many beautiful things, but most of it stayed in our hearts.
Almost everywhere we stopped, a cache was already waiting for us. Most of the caches are well maintained and easy to find.
With mostly very nice weather, we saw a lot of this impressive island. In many places, caches were waiting for us, which were sometimes easy and sometimes difficult to find. This cache was also included and was successfully signed
We puzzled a lot in advance and the tours were well prepared
So this box was also well found.
now I have another on my personal cache card.
many thanks to [^] **Sallies** [^] for the effort and the cache and greetings from Germany

We left from Rotorua after a little delay and flew into Christchurch to start leg 2 of our journey. We made our way around to some great places ticking off a few caches that were on our list. An oldie like this one will always make the list. A quick search and we had what we came for. TFTC
On an amazing trip to NZ for the Tarawera Ultramarathon, this was found after our (extended) stay in Rotorua, when we flew down to Christchurch then travelled southwards. Thanks for the cache!
Nice hide. Had to endure alot of locals wanting my blood, but if you keep moving they aren't interested in much else never knew this pack entrance was here. Tftc & awee bit of room for swag
After the hikingtour between Sumner and Lyttelton we were back in our temporary Homezone and found this cache easily.
New day, new month same old plan.... Get some caches in on a "brisk" ChCh morning. Nice cover. Cheers!
I found the original cache with logs from 2019-2021, log book was full but I squeezed in a log as a_k in the top corner. It was a couple of metres away from where the hint suggested, I couldn't find the new cache. Replaced the old one where the hint indicates.
Five maintenance notifications to respond to so went for a 85 minute loop trip in the cache mobile. Two caches were in place and fine, two were missing and one needed a new logbook. This one was missing and was replaced. Rodney.
Not found this time. Pretty sure we were looking in the correct place. Maybe next time.
Mr C was working so Mrs C went out with muggle friend to get aa couple of caches. The title intrigued me as my high school headmaster (yes yonks ago) was Terry McCombs. Nice and quiet here today to have a good look. Found exactly as per hint. All good here, thanks for the cache Sallies.
I might have been off the scale if the original contents of the cache were there! A tough morning workout at several Op shops: a haul of trousers and metal flower frogs meant that I had to look for lunch to restore the blood sugar. Caught this find along the way to Portstone. Tftc
Out on a bike ride to help recovery after getting a new right knee in August. 30 minutes is a good session. Checked this out as I rode by. Everything fine. Container exactly where the hint says. Rodney.
Day 3 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
This is when it starts to get serious. I picked up my campervan this morning and by midday I was out on the road to start 2 weeks of touring around the South Island.
During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
I wanted to find this particular cache to fill a hole in my Jasmer grid. Canterbury had turned on the weather for me so it was a gloriously sunny day as I parked up near GZ. There wasn't another soul around as I walked to where my GPS was taking me, and thanks to the helpful Hint this was a very quick find.
No issues with any aspect of this cache, so the log was swiftly signed and everything replaced exactly as found, and I was back on my way again.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Had done the gardening, been for a walk, had lunch, had a shave etc. so decided to go for a short bike ride and check this out after 2 DNFs. Fitted out a replacement container and off I went. Less than 10 minutes later I was at GZ. Less than 5 seconds later I had the container in my hand. It was/is exactly where the hint says!!! Got back on the bike and rode home with a spare container for some other time. Read the hint. Use your eyes. Easy! Rodney.
So I was looking in the tree all over. could not find it. just before I chuck in the towel I read the hint again. 10seconds later an easy find.
Story of my life if only I read the question....

Using the hint this was a quick and easy find. Thanks for highlighting this nice park.
Quick, easy find. Spotted something white, gleaming at me, as Angie33210 went 'in' for a closer look near the GZ. Upon closer inspection a cache was found and a log was soon signed.
It's actually a very beautiful park area that we haven't explored before. TFTC

Checked this one out again today. It is still snuggly tucked away behind the greenery. Should be quite an easy find. Rodney and Iris.
Found it twice now both times with Sallies and siblings but didn’t write are names,tftc-Reuben
Took three grandchildren out geocaching this morning. They found five caches - mostly ours. This one was exactly where it is meant to be, as per the hint. Rodney & Iris.
Went here to check out this one for my Poppa A quick and easy find. Thanks Poppa! Genevieve.
