Collected a dozen finds in the Wollondilly today.
2 PAF's and still no luck! Gave up after 90min of searching. Glad to hear that the CO has confirmed the cache is indeed missing. Keen to make the find after it is replaced.

Curses, foiled again! I've been working the last 10 hours but I started my day with an event cache and thought it would be nice to finish with a traditional. I also thought the park would be quiet late at night.
After my last attempt a conversation with a previous finder suggested I was on the right track, so I had a focus this evening. I also had a few ideas about what sort of camouflage I was looking for. However, 45 minutes later I was empty-handed and pretty sure I'd over-imagined the possibilities. Yet again I walk away with pen still capped.

60 minutes, 3 tennis balls recovered, 2 great lizard photos taken, 1 DNF.
Still with a bit of time to pass after success down at Tahmoor, I thought I'd try this cache. The CO note from yesterday was a good sign, although I was reasonably confident it was here. Sadly that made it all the more frustrating when I ran out of time and had to leave. It had been a good time to try too, an overcast not-too-early weekday morning, but it was getting a bit too muggly by the time I left anyway. I'll be back for another try, pretty sure this find is worth the effort.

Went looking with the wife but couldnt find this one,no muggles around but it started really raining. We come here with a club guite often, so maybe next time. TFTH.
Despite it following two nearby DNF's I was still looking forward to this, what I read is a nicely tricky cache. Sadly there were muggles everywhere. There was even a muggle on a bench opposite the cache who eyed me suspiciously, so I scoped out the area quickly to ponder on until my return, and left. This morning is not going so well
Muggles around so couldn’t have a good search, however, I feel like we would’ve had a swamp of a time if we did find it!
This one was a tricky one! Needed help from some fellow Geo’s! Just a little tip - The picture someone has added to their review has nothing to do with where the geo is located
Back again, on our way to an event. Had received some intel. Another really good hide. A FP TFTC flowerchild2117
Tftc. Searched for 30 minutes and Jaybeem was ready to go, but after a DNF and an aborted effort due to sports going on, I wanted one more look. After moving things around I finally spotted the well hidden cache.
Another DNF. Two DNFs to start the day. We thought that we were finally getting good at this game. However, it seems like we have no idea. Lol. We have since been given a hint. Sounds like a great cache. Well done flowerchild2117.
Didn't want to spend too much time but somehow did. Even came back again after a walk but still no luck.
I told Meritonnn to give up, it’s a DNF! But she didn’t give up and sure enough she found it! Very hard cache! Found it in the end ! TFTC
Well, I must say - this was the main event for me today. The difficulty level and recent DNFs from two very experienced cachers had me curious. Making my way to GZ there were many possibilities to consider and I spent much time investigating them all! After awhile GGCoconut was ready to call it quits and told me I should give it up! But I can be quite dogged with these things (just ask BillyWest007, it's a running joke ) and I was pretty determined that I wasn't leaving without finding it. After wasting quite a bit of time around what appears to be the 'obvious' spot to look, I was starting to narrow it down and a PAF confirmed I was on the right track. Finally, I spotted something that was indeed 'same, same but different'. Wow! That is well camo'd and well hidden! Well done! I will say though, that I think the terrain rating perhaps had me thinking I needed to do more work than was actually necessary in the end. Many thanks for bringing me here and for driving me crazy for awhile there
Good weather for ducks today.
Just needed a quick find to fill in the calendar but this wasn't to be it.
Looked in a few spots and turned a few things over but no cache.

So April is over and I don't need any calendar finds, right? Wrong. There are some days - like today and tomorrow - when I do need more finds. More! MORE!! Mwa ha ha ha ha... erm, sorry.
Decided to head to Picton for today's finds. Wasn't the best caching day to be honest. Two DNAttempts due to impossible muggle proximity, and three DNFs! At least I did manage to clear one previous DNF.
Still, five Traditionals, five ALs and one Puzzle were snagged. I'll take it.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
You clear a previous DNF and next thing, there's another.
Had a number of ideas here, but constantly interrupted by muggles nothing worked out.
After far too long here I finally gave it up and headed to my next target.

A return visit, and even with a clue from CO took some time. Explained to muggle what I was doing, seemed interested. No need to search in the obvious place, well the obvious place for me when the tide is out, anyway. Nice cammo which i will note. Thought 'what is that' and where does it lead. FP, tftc
[FTF] at 9:13 am. Woke up and saw this was still unfound so thought I would give it a go. I arrived nice and early but had to keep search on the down low for a bit as the maintenance guy was around, and I also had trouble with reception all around GZ . Popped into town after a bit to see if I could get some reception and a coffee, got the coffee but not enough reception!! Back I went, after some scrambling and more monkeying around than needed, I saw something that was nicely tucked away and camoed. Woo! Super excited to find the blank log!! now, off to the next one!!
