Mr CNQ ventured out to Pallarenda for a good few hours (not at this cache) as it turned out. This has been sitting in the solved pile for a while and first time out here for years. Quick find sign and replace, thanks for the cache Burgo78.
I solved this as part of the Master of Mystery Munich. Thank you for the wonderful experience around the world, I enjoyed it very much.I hope one day I can sign the logbook as well.
Gru Speed59
I'm looking forward to actually going to Australia one day. When I do, this cache will be on my "must do" list. I have now finished all 3 of Leirum's Lost Places caches. The first one - Germany - was the hard one since I wasn't really sure what I was doing. And then there was the math, which I managed to foul up more than once. But these have been an adventure! Thank you Leirum for the challenge, and burgo78 for maintaining the physical cache!
I enjoyed solving this puzzle over about 24hrs before we came to Townsville. This D/T combo now completes a second loop of the D/T grid for me, so a favourite from me.
Caching in the area we pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
This took some time to complete, enjoyed the tour and the placement of GZ and adding to our favourites. Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

Nearby for the event so I stopped here to replace the almost full log.
Happy hunting.

Die Leirum's Lost Places World Tour habe ich nach einem Tipp
bereits vor Jahren entdecken dürfen. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Die virtuelle Reise war super aufbereitet und spannend.
Durch den MoM München kam ich nun wieder darauf,
schwelgte in Erinnerungen und fand zudem noch
passende Reisende dazu .
Tja, Geocaching schürt Reisewünsche ...
wer weiss ... irgendwann komme ich bestimmt noch her ...
Vielen Dank für diese tolle Reise 8-D .
Mit blauherzlichen Grüßen, kuewalda :-X

This is one amazing cache. Virtually visiting some long lost places where past lives have left stark reminders of occupancy. One heck of a world tour, an amazing collaboration. Outstanding work by our travel guide Leirum and many thanks to both him and burgo78 for bringing this to Townsville. I note that it is now part of the Master of Mystery Munich 2.0 so it will certainly get noticed. Very well done. A Fitting final and certainly worthy of the Favourite Points it has garnered. I would have thought the percentage would be higher. Maybe you’d already milked the rest of the mega visitors dry before they made it here.

Boxing Day is one of my favourite days of the year - all the Christmas leftovers, cricket and sailing on the telly and still a few days before you start thinking about all those silly New Years resolutions you are going to break a week into the New year.
It is also day 4 of the annual Crooked Christmas Catch up with my Townsville in laws. I had planned for the morning to be dedicated to cleaning up all my unfound caches on the road to Pallarenda.
Last one for the morning - a cold shower, the couch, a beer and some sailing followed by cricket on the TV is beckoning. I wandered in and soon enough, thankfully as it was stifling hot, I made the quick find. I have not been to this location before, despite having walked all around here.
This was an interesting puzzle - solved not long after it came out. Many thanks Burgo78

In the Townsville area with Selva Girls to pick up some solved puzzles, Challenge caches and anything else that gets in the way. We found an interesting collection of caches in some nice areas and this was one of them. Tree climbs, tree fishing and hanging off rocks, all part of the fun.
This puzzle was completed over many months with another cacher who told me about it. I initially helped for a couple of locations before sitting down and doing the lot. An enjoyable walk to GZ today and made a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

I have a lot of solved puzzles and challenge caches in Townsville. So had my caching buddy.
Today, Konie and I headed off to find some of these. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC

Solved for the MoM Munich. It was a beautiful but long journey. The most impressive lost place was where it is coldest. Thanks a lot and greatings from Munich
We had to remain in our accommodation until the ANZAC march went by then we still had time for just a couple of caches before leaving on a jet plane.
We were looking for any puzzle caches most of all to finish our caching in Townsville and this one appeared very tempting.
Interesting puzzle that took some time doing. Nice to find the log book nice and dry, unlike us, luckily we dry quickly to.

With great excitement we headed to Townville for the for the first FNQ Mega - we were very curious to see how much it had changed since we lived there pre-caching.
Mr Morris arrived last night and I took him for a tour out to Cape P to collect a couple of higher terrains caches I couldn't get to.
Somehow we had an error on the finals for this one so after a redo we headed out to make the find only to find some other cachers as well.
Thanks for contributing to the fun burgo78

With the lovely micaparamedic and the awesome ChooknChunk - I was aware of this one when it came out and the buzz around all of the emails to and fro. Happy to have been with people in the know today.
Very well done. A fav from me.
Thanks Travel Agent Leirum & burgo78

I am so happy that I attended the Mega (and surrounding events), it was a welcomed change of scenery and I was able to embrace the fresh opportunities that awaited.
I spent time with people special to me and managed to score more cache finds than I had expected! Not having my vehicle or caching TOTTs was tricky, but I took the opportunity when it presented to utilise these from others when available.
This trip to Queensland enabled my 3rd attendance at the GPS adventure maze and attending my 13th Mega.
I had solved some of the puzzles and was helped with others, so being able to collect many of them whilst in the area was great.
Exploring Townsville and surrounds proved interesting, and I also spent plenty of time in the motel room (not planned for) - but I LOVED the air conditioning and the time to chill. Super lucky with the weather (the rain stayed away). Enjoyed lots of good food and conversations.
A fantastic time was had by all.

Boy we have been busy! We have travelled around the world on this amazing tour of lost places just before we flew up to Townsville for the Mega. We absolutely loved exploring each location. The only trouble we encountered was that occasionally we had delays in getting our next travel documents, but we resolved this by sending the requests from an alternate email. We really appreciated the work involved in setting this up, and also loved the final GZ location. TFTC burgo78. Another fave point - we need to do more power trails so we can keep favouriting your caches.

Having a fun time but caching a little slower with Team Crackers and Geoturtle37 after attending the Mega.
This one took sooooo long to solve that we were pleased it didn't take as long to find. Thanks for the cache.

Having a great day out with Team Crackers and Papi4506. It is probably just as well we went into lockdown or I may never have solved this one. In saying that, I must make it clear that I didn't solve it on my own, I received a LOT of help. Thanks for the cache.
After having a fantastic time at the mega we are slowly catching up with logs, today we joined forces with Geoturtle37 and Pspi4506 for a day of caching and sightseeing as the last few days have been very hectic.
Hoping that we would be coming up here if the borders opened we used our many lock downs solving as many puzzles in Townsville and Cairns as we could.
We were working on this one for quite awhile but were having absolutely no luck. We collaborated with a couple of other teams via slype and didn't make much progress for a long time. Then someone a lot smarter than us had a brain wave and not too long after also had a set of co-ords. There was no way we were going to let this one go without least a look and headed off towards our gz.
Happily on arriving at gz the hide was nowhere near as difficult as the puzzle and it was located after a very short search and our names have been added tot he log.
To save room in the smaller logs we signed as "The Vics"
Thanks once more for the cache.

Up in Townsville from CBR for the Mega with TikvaNZ, Fox in Jox and ZQX and many other CBR cachers! So many interesting caches to find while in the area, we will sadly not be able to get to all of them. Some puzzles were sorted beforehand and some were sorted on the run, some individually and some as a group. We had a caching plan before we arrived which helped frame our time, but as always, some caches we were driving past were too tempting to leave.
Today: it has been a busy 3 days already and many more to find today. Down to the Saint series, up to the book series, and a few in between!
This cache: one of the last caches we collected today. I had not attempted the puzzle prior to signature and I wanted to have a go at the puzzle before logging. It has taken me a period of time to work through the puzzle - did not enjoy the first couple of levels as there was too ambiguity but after that I made steady progress and had much more success (and fun)! Still needed a hint or two to get to the end!
Thanks burgo78 for the cache and the fun! A fav point for the innovative puzzle and world tour!

What an interesting puzzle! And the final location was fascinating - I wish I could say more, but it might give away the spot. Very moving, though, and I'm glad it's there.

Day 11 of a 3 week holiday driving from Canberra to Townsville and back to attend the Mega. Today team FATZ (Fox in Jox, AngelG27, ZQX and I) cached far and wide from the Saint, to Ross River, to the Book, and finally back to Pallarendra. Cache easily found. A fun puzzle. Some levels are harder than others. TFTC.

Day 5 in Townsville for the Mega. This morning we decided to try and beat the heat and get an early start on the hiking Cape Pallarenda challenge caches and anything else we walked near to. A lovely place to walk with fabulous views along the way. After our hike we continued along the coast south and this is one we stopped at. I don’t want to give anything away about GZ so I’ll just say it was a fitting place to end this fabulous puzzle. Thanks burgo78

In Townsville, hit the trails with beckNmonts OSHFAM and Earthbound Chief. Found this one along the way.
Day 15, no pattern to today, started heading towards the book series and then random caches along our travels. A fun day.
Massive thanks go to burgo78 for placing this one.

In town for the Mega with FATZ (Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX).
This is one of the first puzzles I talked when I knew I was coming to Townsville. It didn't take too long to work through each layer, but because each layer was so interesting, I often got diverted. I struggled to correctly count the last requirement - there was some ambiguity that was challenging me. But got the coords.
After a long day, we got to GZ in the dark, but was fairly simple to get to for a quick sign. TFTC TAL and burgo78. A fave for the amazing virtual places I visited.

After spending a lot of time solving puzzles for the trip, it was good to find some today. Found in the company of Earthbound Chief OSHFAM & ahomburg. Thanks for the puzzles burgo78. We signed the log as “The Whole Gang” A favourite point for the puzzle.
We found Leirums Lost Places World TourQueensland Edition while on our saintly pursuits in FNQ. ...we are glad we have finally made it here.

TFTC. This an adventure that we enjoyed during lockdown in Victoria. We spent a bit of time traveling form place to place without leaving our armchairs. After the Farewell to Townsville we decided to head up towards Pallarenda to find the last point on the Townsville Tourist AL. Along the way we stopped to,find some of the puzzles we had solved prior to the trip up north.
It was certainly a fitting place for the final GZ. Thanks for bringing us here

Oh my goodness, just going through all my photos and notes in my phone and just found that I have not logged this one. Better later than never I suppose. Was in town for Townsville mega
As part of the CacheQLD committee I am here working, caching, catching up with friends and generally having a fab time. Some awesome puzzles up this way and some tricky and adventurous hides! Awesome experience! TeamARF did most of the work on the solve. Brilliant puzzle! Fave point
Everybody’s version of adventure is different. It is one of the things we enjoy about Geocaching.
It’s pretty much the same with Travel. In this day and age there is such a variety and diversity. Always something for each individual.
When we set to work to solve this travel puzzle, we were indeed locked in to a very small world due to the Covid outbreak.
This mystery provided us with two or three nights of great entertainment. We just did not want it to end.
As we found ourselves in different parts of the world, we could not help but to google a little more and find out why these places are now “lost”!
So much history, and not all of it happy. Nonetheless it was poignant, and beautiful.
This was probably, in advance of coming to Townsville, the armchair adventure we did most enjoy.
GZ itself also has its own story.
To Travel Agent Leirum and Burgo78, we say thank you for allowing us this travel adventure during lock down.
10 FPS…if only it were allowed. Please accept at least 1

Great to be back in town as part of The Megatrons ((The Bug, Crash, Tardis and myself).
Well done Townsville and Charters Towers of qualify and variety to go with the Mega.
This was part of a big day of over 100 finds and multiple types which started as an early run out to Charters Towers.
Having been doing the random destinations puzzles in Sydney we added this to our virtual tour and great to make it physically to this one.
We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

MEGA Trip - day 3
Assembled the full MEGATRON crew (bella at waggy, dahumbug, tardis0061, crash2079) for an early CITO at Charters Towers and to find as many types as we could in the day.
Having found various types in Charters, we headed to the Saint geoArt puzzles and letterboxes which we collected in record time. Then a quick stop off at the Mega site to complete the maze, before a sprint to Pallarenda for more challenges and solved puzzles.
This was an awesome puzzle with some answers coming easily and others not so...
Happy to be able to sign the log today. FP

After a very busy morning, headed out to this beautiful area with Bluewattle to tick off some caches on our to-do list.
Team effort in the solving of this one and was pleasantly surprised to see where the cache was actually placed. Would not have seen this if it wasn't for this puzzle, a favourite point from me.

Worked on this one long ago with micaparamedic. In the area today but somehow got on the wrong track. Back on the right track with Snickersallen and Bluewattle, we were joined by pprass. Thanks burgo78.
Found at 11:07:32 PM(t) in the company of maccamob & The Morris.
Wow - another tough cache, but with the help of some determined puzzlers, it was nutted out.
This was the last cache for the day as we were starting to work out how long it would take to get back to camp, freshen up and then head to the event site for the Path Tag swap and then the Trivia event.
A nice walk to an interesting location and found that McLookers and a couple of other cachers were already there!
Thanks burgo78.

This was a puzzle that I quite enjoyed in completing at home. I had already heard of overseas editions of this tour, perhaps on Facebook, and then a friend had completed this Townsville edition and highlighted it to me once again. There were a few stops on that world tour that I had previously travelled to, while others were already on my bucket list. i did enjoy the interactivity that Google Maps has to offer, so I really did enjoy the experience!
During the Easter long weekend, it was all about the Townsville Mega event! Highlights included a hike at Cape Pallarenda Conservation Peak, walks atop the local mountains of Mount Stuart, Castle Hill, and Mount Louisa, checking out a few shady spots along Ross River, sewer pipe / tunnel adventures, and a scuba dive to see the Museum of Underwater Art at John Brewer Reef. The Mega events themselves were fantastic: Gadget lab caches, GPS maze, trivia night, tree planting CITO, and Cal's Escape Room. There was also plenty of geocaching to be had, such as power trailing through the geoarts The Saint and the Book, and the collection of challenge caches at Bushland Beach mudflats. My view of Townsville had completely changed from my trip experience, and much kudos to the Cache Qld Townsville Mega Committee.
The main expedition today was a walk around Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park making a circuit of the *Breaking Bad* series. We set off on our walk at 06:00 hr, and despite it being so early, we managed to beat most of the heat as we made the circuit in a clockwise direction, finishing along the beach section and under the shade of the trees. I don't think I've ever managed to drink all my water before on a hike, but my 3.0 L of water was out as we walked the last section back to the car park just after lunch. A total distance of about 20.5 km was walked in 4.5 hr. A pretty cool area to have walked, and thankfully no crocodiles were seen.
We took a short walk to GZ to grab this cache first up. An interesting location for this cache to be, and I think I was the one that made this find on behalf of the group. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. We decided to sign the geocache as BBQwP (Breaking Bad Quest with Peppa) to save space in the logbook. Thanks Travel Agent Leirum & burgo78 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle. Had the assistance of the Aust travel agent with one destination and spent far too long doing extra exploring at some of the spots. Great puzzle and add another FP for your efforts.
Must admit this cache wasn’t on my radar but I did get FTF AGES ago on one at Brisbane airport so understood the concept. Luckily a Geo buddy had solved and let me tag along!
**This Cache:**
**A solo find for me here today**
Abandoned places are probably my favourite locations to visit, although most are on private property in Australia and there are not many good and accessible spots around!
This puzzle was just fantastic, I don't find a whole lot of puzzles enjoyable as I prefer to be out in the field and caching, but this was different! Thank you for setting this up, FAVOURITE from me!
---
**Today:**
Day 11 of my road trip from Canberra - Townsville Mega Event!
Today started with a long drive, Port Douglas - Townsville, we needed to arrive by 10:30am to drop off taytayy1 at the airport, which meant we were on the road before the sun was up!
I then had a short amount of time alone to fill in whilst waiting for sebass19 to arrive in Townsville after a flight from Canberra to join me for mega festivities!
He soon joined me, we filled ourselves up with food for the afternoon, and started caching non-stop like crazy for the rest of the day with the final cache find at 10:15pm! Already done fishing caches, events, tunnels and tree climbs - and it was only day 1 in TSV!

Found while in Townsville to attend the Mega event.
I travelled up from Adelaide, taking a week or so so get here, meeting up with FeatherWaite to do some caching around the Cunnamulla area then continuing on to Barcaldine and Charters Towers.
While in Townsville I teamed up with Budgietas, Stainless-steel-rat and Gooseandegg on some days, including a day on Magnetic Island, and with Davidwazza at other times. When caching with Davidwazza, logbooks were signed DWEG1.
All in all it was a terrific week or so in Townsville, with plenty of great caches found.
Thanks burgo78 for the puzzle and the cache.

A plan was hatched in Brisbane to visit this corner of Townsville… the challenge and quality of caches was to much to resist… I’m not entirely sure how we landed on Breaking Bad Quest with Peppa, but I only found out about that nugget when we were a couple of caches in…??
A great group assembled at 6am and with much enthusiasm (someone’s not a morning person) we set off…
This is such a unique style of puzzle…very detailed and highly entertaining… even if I did have a friend with their Emotional Support Water Bottle hold my hand…
Log signed BBQwP… ??
Special thanks to Domsky without whom it would have just been BBQ…??

Day 7 and we are doing a group assault on the breaking bad series. We met just near the final for this cache so we headed in and found this first, signed as BBQwP to save space.
I loved this puzzle, I haven’t done a puzzle like it and thought it was a really unique way to see the lost world from the comfort of your home (or work in some cases ).
I have only been to 1 of the locations but would love to visit more, hopefully one day! Another easy FP. Tftc Travel Agent Leirum and burgo78

Well... this was a different puzzle. Took a bit of work, but I finally got there. TFTC!
Found by Mary and David at 13:30. Enjoyed solving this one almost a year ago, and just needed a visit to Townsville to find it. The present Mega gave us the ideal opportunity. Took too long at GZ to find it as the GPSrn was all over the place. A sad story at the nearby monument. Our thanks to burgo78.
This was a fun and different puzzle. Found this morning with a group. Thanks for the cache
First day out and about in the ville with Swearah and jodsta83 collecting some smiles.
Yet again another quick and easy find thanks
Yet again another quick and easy find thanks
Jodsta83 had done the hard yards with this puzzle before we headed to Townsville. Thank goodness, because it was a toughie!
Finally at GZ with Stephyy and jodsta83, Stephyy made the “found it!” call and we had our names on the log. Yay!
Thanks for the great puzzle and thanks for the cache, burgo78

Day 1 officially, day 3 actually....
So excited to be attending my second MEGA and to fly
to a destination for fun! And return to the tropics in an equally long time
Great to meet new faces and to spend caching time with some familiar cachers as well.Find #5449
A few days ahead to explore this beautiful hot city. So much caching on offer, and apologies for the generic log.
And so it goes, just happy to pick up caches such as this one. Thanks to burgo78 for putting out and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment!

Found with the MEGATRONS consisting of dahumbug, bella at waggy, crash and tardis...log to follow.
The lap around here was very...very...very long.
Looked short on the map, thats for sure.
Sorry, I will endeavour to regress and write a decent log on most caches.
Thank you, Thank you.

In town for the mega, using caching as a guide to show us the best of what the region has to offer.

I remember doing this online at home on weekend afternoon. Budgietas, whitewebbs and I worked through it separately but staying in contact as we progressed. It took us quite a while but it was fun.
At (near) GZ we checked all the obvious places before actually following the compass where the cache was then found by budgietas.
Thanks burgo78 (and Leirum)
A ten day mega trip was arranged with Stainless steel rat and Budgietas. We flew into Cairns and out of Mackay, with the majority of the time in and around Townsville. We found a huge variety of caches and although our find count was a little lower than we would have liked, some of the high D/T caches more than made up for that. I really appreciate the effort of the local COs and all the people involved in hosting the mega and associated activities. I enjoyed catching up with many of our caching buddies, and make some new ones too!

This cache was found as part of a trip with GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to Far North Queensland for the Townsville Mega. The trip started in Cairns and ended in Mackay, and allowed us to find some ripper caches inbetween.
We managed to complete some of the Breaking Bad cache series until we driven back to the car due to the heat, and the Saint and most of the book series. There were some good variety in both these series which kept them interesting.
One of the highlights (although a low light when removing the mud) was the walk on the salt flats outside Townsville to get the challenge caches
Another highlight was Magnetic island, where other than some great views, we managed to spot two koala's in the wild.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache that was part of our trip

Today was to be our big day with us walking the loop for the Breaking Bad series along with some challenge caches, as it turned out these three Tasmanians underestimated the effect the heat would have on us, we started far too late, didn't have enough water and thus we turned round when we got to Better Call Saul as we knew it was a straight walk back and we wouldn't be stopping every 500m to search for a cache.
After we got back to the car we drank and ate for a bit in the cool of the AC and after about 30 minutes we all felt much better so we drove to the NE end of the series and knocked off a few of the challengers before we headed back to the hotel for a feed.
This was my first Mega trip in a while now, I had planned to go to the last one in Wangaratta but concerns about COVID made me pull out at the last minute. For this one it was a trip with BudgieTas and GooseandEgg landing in Cairns on the Sunday where we collected a few caches in the dark before driving down to Townsville on the Monday collecting a select few caches along our very indirect route.
While in the Townsville we made the best of our time collecting a few series of caches and searching for some of the older caches on offer, some with lots of favourite points or something we thought maybe a bit different, along with all that we got to go to all the Mega events and meet up with cachers old and new, spending Thursday with Greg going round Magnetic Island and a bit of time with the Davinells who went out of their way to welcome the Tasmanians to Queensland.
All to soon it came to an end and we drove down to Mackay on the Monday again collecting caches along the way before flying home on the Tuesday Morning.
Thanks for the warm (sometimes too hot) welcome Queensland until next time!
Thanks for the cache.

A big thank-you to the two travel agents who organised this World Tour in such challenging COVID times. Who would have thought it possible?????
We enjoyed working our way through each of the stages that culminated in having our efforts and persistence rewarded with final set of coordinates.
We visit the GZ today and quickly found the cache. Not too many names on the logsheet at present.
A favourite point from us for the adventure which challenges us to learn more about some computer programs that we had only previously dabbled in.

Wow what an adventure, I have made a slow adventure around many of the lost places of the World.
They were amazing to see, some more interesting than others. I guess one day I may get to some of them and others that are out there.
Now I just need to wait to get the final one in 2022 to fill in the log and tell you more about my adventure around the world.
Thanks for this great little adventure.

At the tail end of a big roadtrip and just had to pay Townsville a visit, albeit a brief one. Just enough time to collect on some puzzles and challenges and get some much needed rest before making the journey home. This puzzle was seriously next level. I enjoyed every step of the way, being a traveller who can’t travel right now, and I enjoyed working with a couple of others solving it along the way. GZ is in our favourite part of town too, so it’s getting an FP from us. Thanks Leurium for the original creation, and big thanks to Burgo for bringing it to Australia

Friday. Our race to get back home meant a late arrival in Townsville last night and left us with only a small window to get some caches up here. We left the caches in this part of T’ville until this morning when we had light and could see what we were doing since they were in more challenging locations. This was another puzzle I’d started and then printed out - put aside and then forgot about it. I realised just a day or so before we were leaving that I still hadn’t had this puzzle solved. I remembered doing it, but where was it? I started from scratch but my PC just wasn’t working at this time and it kept freezing. So I turned to a friend who helped me out.
So the cache find was done at sunrise this morning. What an interesting place! I remember we found this spot last time we were up this way, but this time, we took a bit longer to look around. We’ve been on our own travel adventures this week - making it by road from Brisbane to Daintree and back again in a week - collecting some great caches - mostly in the Townsville area.
This was the 1st of 8 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***burgo78*** for showing us this place

Even with Lockdown, I made it around the world in about 2.5 hours. I have been to three of thee places before. A fantastic journey and very entertaining puzzle!
Now it is time to plan a visit to Townsville.

Thank you for bringing me to such amazing virtual places! The final for this one is very interesting, but I wrongly expected this to serve a slightly different purpose. I shouldn't jump to such quick conclusions! I am not sure when or if I will ever be able to sign this Queensland Edition logbook, but original World Tour is a distinct possibility and I have found and logged the Alberta (Canada) Edition.
With a quick trip to Townsville, had a review of my solved puzzles in the area and saw this one, and thought it worth a look. Had a play over a couple of nights, and only really stumbled at the only locale I had physically been to. And see it wasn't just me. Eventually got all the numbers and math sorted. Enjoyed the virtual tour and well worked puzzles. Today, ventured out to go for a quick find. Thanks to Burgo and Lerium for the vitual tour.

Thanks burgo78 and tour guide Leirum for the great amount of work that you put into this cache. I had a great deal of fun visiting the lost places. I did have to ask the CO for help on two occasions. On one occasion I had mistakenly used Google Earth, thinking that it would be the same as Google maps. It was very different and had me totally lost. I also enjoyed the walk to GZ and its final location. Again a place of interest and history. It has definitely been a favourite for me.
An enjoyable trip solving this one, have much travel still to do.
Did one location per day, making the most of my exploration.
Arrived at the parking in time, short walk and found the cache in the very first place I checked.
Have a fav point!

They say travel broadens the mind but after being lost somewhere in Cambodia for far too long, i’d say mine has certainly been on the road less traveled. With Covid limiting non essential travel, World tours like this are only a distant pipe dream. My short first World tour being one cut down before it got underway
What an amazing tour this is though. Visiting ancient empires, to the sites of some of world’s greatest disasters, we certainly see that humans have left their mark on this planet, and certainly not in positive ways at times. Can’t say that human history isn’t interesting.
A very apt finale was my first point of call this morning with a pleasant walk to another long lost place that reeks of history. Thanks burgo78 and tour guide Leirum. Certainly worth the price of admission and up there as one of the best caches I’ve completed. Now if only I can make it to the other two..

Wow, what an adventure! With my 'travel companion' micaparamedic, we toured the world observing and counting. When travel allows, I am looking forward to visiting Queensland. Thank you Leirum and burgo78.
This was a very fun and interesting experience. I first started on the original puzzle in October 2020 and then somehow morphed into the Alberta puzzle without realising. I got stuck at Station 08 and just couldn't work it out so put it down and forgot about it. Then the Queensland one popped up and I started that too and realised that they all have the same stations for a while. I had to hand off Station 08 to my mathematical husband and he had it worked out in no time. Well when I got to the calculations for Station 10 I was stuck again so back to hubby for the finals and here I am signing some write note logs and wishing the QLD final was a bit closer to NSW where I am just over the border (16.5hrs away)
thank you SO MUCH for the fun and travels please keep creating them.

Completed this fantastic World Tour today with the help and encouragement of McLookers. Now I need for Victoria to come out of this new lockdown so that in the near future I can go and get it.
Completed this today. Would have been earlier but there was a slight error in the original coordinates I received, checked again and it had been rectified. Very enjoyable tour, maybe someday I can actually visit some of those places. Signing the logbook on this one will have to wait until I have a chance to travel a lot further North than I have ever been.
After a couple of days of sitting down to complete this, I finally have it done! Unfortunately the GZ is about 16 hours away, so will have to postpone until I can go for a bit of a travel!
A very fun and interesting challenge, thank you to both Leirum and Burgo for setting it up, and helping me troubleshoot my email issues as well! Will definitely be a favourite once I get to signing the log.

Haha Leirum, herzlichen Dank für das FTF banner. Ich werde dann dieses als Kompletierungsbanner für mein Profil nehmen. Vielen Dank für die ganze Mühe, wirklich klasse!
Such a superb cache idea, thank you very much Burgo78 for creating all these cooperations and bringing all these amazing caches here, and of course Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Leirum fürs erstellen dieser Weltreise!
All these places were certainly very special and it would be wonderful to visit them one day. Though, it was great wandering digitally through them as well. Usually you only see them on picturesque images, but experiencing how it looks in reality, with tourists and everything, was certainly something different.
At stage 7 I was struggling a little, as the single digit in question looked more like a letter to me, so a bit trial and error was required.
The last hurdle was the final calculation, but after a conversation with the CO the coordinates were in hand and the provided info updated.
Thanks a lot for this [FTF] Fav point from me.
