Came for a caching run with goingplaces2 and found this cache. It was a quick find and we were soon on our way after doing the signing duties. TFTC.
We added this little series to our list while we were out caching with ilook4geo. There was no problem in finding each one and all logs had plenty of room for our names. Thank you to magpies22 for putting out this little run for us to find.

Apologies for the late log - semi retirement is busy!! lolWe're staying in Point Lonsdale for a few days and today is our Anniversary We spent the morning doing some caching then came back to the holiday house for a late lunch. The weather was looking a bit dicy so we stayed put for a while then it cleared up so we set off again to the new estate at Point Lonsdale. Once we finished those, the weather was still nice so we headed here. This one was a nice easy fnd which was a relief after the previous one. TFTC magpies22 - GJMMelb
Nice easy find found with a writing stick after we tragically lost ours at the last cache in the search
This cache was one of those found around or on the leap day February 29th, 2024 before, during or after the Mega event in Adelaide. Many thanks to all those owners who placed caches that Swampy and I found during our trip from Hobart to the Mega and return home again.

Today we found MHBB4 on our travels. Second encounter with local wildlife (a lizard this time) made me kind of reluctant to get stuck in here. The Chief eventually spotted the cache and I let him! Thanks magpies22 for being part of our geocaching fun.
Nice easy find thankfully after the last effort. Has a nice eucalypt aroma to it too
Always a good day when out caching and finding them.
Thanks for the cache magpies22

Catching up on late logs I missed sorry found with sassieold55 on 28/4/23 TFTC
A nice quiet spot, these sort of roads are becoming fewer and fewer around this area. I imagine you could look around for a while for this one but thankfully I spotted it quickly. Thanks for the cache.
The Ginja Ninja (My Orange Triton) was in getting some new shoes (AT tyres fitted) so while I waited I had a chance to grab a cache or two with Mr Dromaniax after we first grabbed some lunch in Ocean Grove.
Coming from the Ocean Grove direction we did all four of these cache in the revers order.
All cahes were found quickly and in good order.
Thank you magpies22 for the series

Heading to Queenscliff for the Blues Train and this was a welcome stop along the way. Nice quick find. TFTC
I had spent the day circumnavigating the Bellarine .
My last cluster of caches to do we here on the quiet back roads.
None of them gave any trouble and in no time I had all four.
Last cache in this small series.
Thanks for the series magpies22

*The "Gotta Sorta Isolate, But Can't Stay In The House" Adventure #19*
I'm Day 8 of my seven-day isolation period. I'm still feeling scratchy around the nose and throat, but SueHut has people coming over. I need to clear out, just in case. A no-contact Geocaching adventure in the offing!
Okay, maybe one more still.
I'm still wearing my wetsuit from a few caches back, but I've thrown a hoodie and track pants over the top to not look too goofy. Which is fine, because the grass is wet here.
Thanks heaps, magpies22!

We came a cropper on the third one in this series, and so on to this one. I admired the use of a traffic post to pinpoint this one for the owner who is keen to quickly check this cache. I've used that ploy many times. I also admired the size of the container but even this one was damp inside, albeit ever so slightly. No problem however, but it amazes me how containers are not as moisture resistant as you would expect. Well done here, and thank you for a good little series.
Nice hide, luckily went straight to it.
It’s starting to get cold and the sky is getting red.
Heading home now.

Quite a few interesting burrows you have to watch out for took a few minutes to spy it out. TFTC
Out and about with the young one to collect a few smiley faces why the rest of the family was having a kip.
Nice container, it was a little moist inside but a gave it a dry out and it should all be good
I've never been on these roads before so thanks for bringing me here.

Another nice quick find, thankfully as Geobub woke up and its 50/50 if it's happy or not. Such a good bub...happy it is!!

Finally 900 Finds, what a long haul its been. We were heading out to Point Lonsdale for a short walk and decided to mix our usual route up a bit, I checked the Map and a Fantastic Trail of 4 Caches were along this road. This was our first stop. We jumped out and with the cache quickly in hand there was time to take in the wonderful views across to the sea behind us. With a lucky 900th Find signature we were back in the car and down the road we went. Thanks for the hide magpies22, I guess it is onto 1000 for us now...
With our camping trip cancelled due to the ongoing Covid problems we decided to head back down to the Bellarine Peninsula to cache the ever growing area.
The first of the MHBB series for us as we seemed to be working backwards gave us an easy find with the larger cache staring us in the face.
Thanks magpies22 for the cache.

A sunny day on The Bellarine, free to be out and about without any penalty of distance. Time to dust off the cobwebs and track down a few green icons showing up on our map.
Our thanks to magpies22 (F=951 H=16) for the tour of Marcus Hill.

Something a little bigger which was nice, although sometimes the hunt for the smaller ones can be fun.
Yesterday, that happy fellow Bushfire was in this general area and not only found this series but called in for a coffee with me, and was talking about his experiences. This inspired me on this lovely morning to stir myself a also find the MHBB series. The final one in this pleasant little series finished with another quick find TFTC and the series magpie22
In the area checking on my caches and had a little time so decided to check this guy out.
It was easily found but had taken in some water but the log was nice and dry because of the plastic bag.
I had some trouble with these two caches so maybe on your next maintenance check you could place some petrolium jelly on the threads as I find it makes it easier to undo and also helps to keep out the water.
Great area and very quiet here today.

We did this series backwards today, approaching from the Geelong side. One of the little bunnies spotted the cache from one side and we were able to retrieve it from the other. TFTC
Number 4 of the NO MORE than 4 caching expedition. This one took me a while too, is lovely country here. The nearby house dweller had a long look at me as she drove past, a quick take of a photo and a wave seemed to make her happy. Thanks for bringing us here and many thanks for the cache.
Thanks Magpies22 for this little series and this cache.
A quick find for us here.
We have found the co-ordinates very accurate this afternoon, clear skies and plenty of Sats overhead, we suspect.
What an interesting road and we enjoyed the drive, now off to Van Loons for a cuppa and to check out some plants.
A favourite for the series.

Joint {FTF} with Ausfox. We were sitting at home when the caches were released, and then the SMS Saying "Are you going". Simple response "Yes" and then out to the geomobile. Only Mr Dromaniax as Mrs Dromaniax ad a lecture to attend. The night was clear still and crisp, with about a half-moon shining in the sky. This cache was found nice and quickly, giving Ausfox and Dromaniax four joint FTF's for the night. Ausfox has been geocaching seriously for a lot longer than we have, so we really appreciate learning from him. This nights haul of FTF's doubled our count to 8 and coincidentally took our find count to 888. We also chatted for around an hour about caching. Geocaching is great for a whole lot of reasons; the people you meet and the places you go to are right at the top of the list. Thank you, magpies22, for this cache and mini-series.

As the caches were published I realised I had 1% battery on my phone. So I jumped in the car and sent Dromaniax a text, while hoping to get some charge in my phone.
Arrived a MHBB4 to meet up with Dromaniax. We were soon able to locate the hide with a blank log for a Joint [FTF].
After signing the cache we spent the next hour, not aware of the cold, in conversation.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Magpies22
