Away for a 4 day weekend starting on the Sunshine Coast across to Kilcoy, Coominya, Toowoomba, Bell, back to Toowoomba via Crows Nest and home through Warwick. Have a rather ambitious list as always so it will be a busy weekend. Had come from Kilcoy and through Coominya (including a garage sale!) and up the range doing a few caches for challenges and attended the event in Toowoomba.Lots of friendly faces there and we had a good catch up, it was good to see everyone again. Stayed the night here and could only do some of the caches so will have another trip to do the rest. Good work Speedmistress on the effort you've gone to in putting out all the caches for us to come and find. It's like a mini QOGM!Rattled around the school route finding the solved puzzles and am back near town to find a few more before heading off.Saw some very unusual Christmas decorations here!TFTC

Having a blast on our caching trip out west.
I think this is where we were supposed to start … oh well.
I was so preoccupied with the art (and the spectacular views) I sort of forgot that I needed to find the cache!
I was a little confused about the hint until potatochips101 enlightened me … really need to get out more .
Found with potatochips101 (logged as 3K)

Driving around Bell with a four hour time limit before we have to head back to Dalby. Parked very close to indicated GZ and with 3 meters to search missed it. And Missed it. I dislike long grass. I knew it had to be there so tried again and finally found the cache after 5 minutes that should have only been one minute. TFTC Speedmistress.

A quick find to bring back some confidence!

Yesterday's caching finished up because of coming showers, and after all the rain overnight we thought that might be it. But after lunch the rain stopped and although it was dark and overcast the wind came up and dried things out a bit. It was still quite wet underfoot and in places muddy so out we went with an open mind as to what we might find and be able to do.
In the end we got most left and broke it up with coffee and a scone at the cafe in town. Car and us both a bit muddy, but a successful afternoon, made all the better by well maintained and creative caches.

Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Speedmistress.

I stayed in the Pub overnight so the early morning walk around town and over the hill and far away gave me a chance to collect a few caches prior to grabbing a coffee and cake at another nearby coffee shop.

This was the climb for the morning and although it was a little cool I soon had to peel back a layer. Cool

*I like crossing the imaginary boundaries people set up between different fields - it's very refreshing.* Maryam Mirzakhani

Day 4 and we're still here doing a few more caches around the place. Slightly curtailed activity today, as its rained on and off most of the night. Sticking to the bitumen, but mud builds up on ones boots pretty damn quick. Good vantage point up here, and liked the unusual Xanthorreas which can be seen here, although they are competing with rather long grass at present. We had a little Duugh ! moment when we figured out what GL in the description meant ! Anyway, all okay here so thanks for our ongoing expedition Speedmistress.

Why are we staying in Bell[?] Oh because there are lots and lots of geocaches including puzzles that we solved ourselves! Yes Ourselves! Sadly this morning it was freezing so a late start then home for soup for lunch before heading back out hunting. Did I mention it didnt get over 10degrees until after 3pm!

Hi there Speedmistress, we found your cache Xanthorrhoea today.

We are slowly meandering towards Hervey Bay, and have stopped off in Bell for a few days. Well it’s day three and there’s still caches to find, we just might clean them up the remaining traditionals today.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log are in good shape.

Regards

Found by Team DES (Domsky, E_Smiley, Snickersallan) on our way home (via Bell) from attending the very enjoyable QOGM (Queensland Outback Geo-Muster) 2021 Paroo. Can't wait for QOGM2022 Murweh!

Thanks for the cache and taking us here Speedmistress. Enjoyed the adventure. We left our car here to walk the 4wd caches and left another car at the other end. I'm so glad we did. I don't think Whitey Smiley would have been happy! Road looked hairy!

Finally arrived in Bell, had a lovely morning tea and all geared up for an overnight stay.
Love this countryside and it is very rewarding visiting towns/places for the first time.
All finds in and around Bell were fantastic, found relatively quickly and to save room on the logs we signed as Something Catchy/Team DES (domsky, E_Smiley & Snickersallan)
Apologies CO for the generic logs, your caches are a real credit to you.
A well deserved favourite point from me.

Today was our third day of geocaching in and around Bell. We had a great time exploring the back roads and discovering a little of the history of this region. We did a variety of traditional, puzzle and earthcaches, all of which had very accurate coordinates and an interesting assortment of container types.
Thanks to all the COs that have placed and maintained these caches for us to enjoy.
