We are travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching trip using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for the next week, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush and back roads. Thanks for the cache JonesSisters2. LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Thanks for the hideLNCU
I've heard of them in the room but never in a tree ! . Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz Thanks JonesSisters2
We were visiting dad in Portland for a few days and thought a trip to Mt Gambia to try our luck at a few caches would be a good idea.We spotted this little series after lunch and headed here. It was a shame some of the original hides were missing but we were happy they had been replaced with other containers. It was quite enjoyable reading the informative cache pages and appreciate the effort gone into them. We had a good run with these caches and all were found right where the GPS said they should be and all the logs now contain our name. Sorry for the generic log, Favourite added on the original hides. Many thanks JonesSisters2 for the great series on a nice quiet road
On the way to the Mt, had a little time, so popped in to do the first two. Easy find.Replaced logs in both.Very cute
Travelling south for the weekend. Cache found in the last place I looked. Nice series. Fun to find. Mostly still intact. Jumbo lives here.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. We headed to the Mount to collect the Motorhome so did a few caches on the way. Id had a plan to do these when they were first published but Rex and I ran out of time.Today we had all the time in the world. Sadly however this series has suffered the affects of the Aussie weather and desperately needs owner maintenance to restore to former glory. Just one dnf in this series. Thanks Jones Sisters for the series
31/10/2023 7:24:00 PMDay 8 of a geocaching trip and as I was motoring towards home I stopped here to stretch the legs, my last find of the trip. Thanks JonesSisters2 for placing and maintaining this game piece.Find recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK
Had a couple of hours free this morning while the ladies hit the shops so I headed out Mt G to get a few caches. This is a cute series and would definitely be enjoyable with the geokiddies, made even better by the lovely autumnal day that had hardly a breath of wind!
Found the cache and signed the log.

Found with Traceywithaneeee. Tracey jumped out of the car while I drove. I apologise for the generic log as I hate to do this but we are trying for 100 caches today to meet a HQ challenge and this is one of them. Thanks so much for placing the cache for us to find. No cache but elephant there.
Suscoe headed out this morning for another trip around the Mt Gambier area.
It was a cool morning with drizzly rain.
Plenty of cows and sheep as we travelled around the roads.
Thanks to JonesSisters2 for this hide.

Penola to Tarpeena
After attending the CITO at Penola we moved to Tarpeena.
Spending the night at the camping ground.
After lunch we commenced caching starting with the AOOA series, a nicely themed set of caches. Doing a circuit & returning to camp.
Giving a FP for the series but a lot of the caches need some TLC

Found this wee beastie but had trouble trying to extricate his lid without tearing it.
Took it back to the car in the warmth to do it. It was still impossible so I have taken the photo as proof of the find.
He has been Resaddled and replaced as found.
Great little hide too!

Found with Team Waldron during a trip to the south-east for a few days. On Day 1 we travelled via Meningie, the Coorong and Kingston SE to Millicent and Tantanoola. On Day 2, we toured around Glencoe and completed the STCL series, Colour by Song series, and the AooA series (and found any other caches along the way). On Day 3 we cached around Tarpeena then to Mt Gambier to do the Adventure Lab caches and down to Port MacDonnell. On the final day we completed the Honan Mint Trail and found the southern half of the Awaken and Live series before time got the better of us and we headed for home. Thanks for the cache JonesSisters2!
I'm glad we didn't see the reptile kind today. A fun series with a theme that was obvious when you found the prize! Well done.
Thanks to JonesSisters2 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
SL at 10:42am SA time. Daytrip out with DarthVader69 heading towards Mt Gambier chasing caches and then shopping. Such a lovely animal series. TFTC!

Out with gridge98 for the millicent mega weekend, excellent trip away, thanks for hiding.
Sunday. Today's target was to get to Penola for the Celebrating in Penola event and the Plant a Tree- Greenrise CITO event plus a few targeted higher terrian caches and of course any others we passed. The adventure lad caches where also done in Penola even though they weren't on the plan. The weather today was filled with rain off and on but that didn't stop me and Mogni. I was glad we had the 4x4 instead of Mogni car for the trip.
SA Mega weekend with sir_spectre, a huge weekend of catchups and hunting geocaches. At different times over the 5 day weekend we joined up with other teams caching as either the misfits or mystery randoms depending on the numbers of people and who organised.
Unfortunately the weather was very typical of the south east and put many teams off exporing the forests and some great creative caches were only found by a few teams.
For me this was a little bit different than for others as I lived in the south east for 15 years and worked in Penola, Millicent and Mount Gambier. Strangely this also meant I kept running into people I knew each day.
Lots of wildlife seen, wombats, echidnas, snakes, kangaroos and wallabies. Luckily the snakes in particular kept leaving the paths as we were walking.
Thanks to the Mega committee for all of their hardwork organising and the many locals who have placed and maintained caches (this includes me )
Thanks to JonesSisters2 from mogni

This was a good little series, some great hides, although the log books took alot to get out on some of them and the long wet grass wasn’t the highlight but all in all a good series with a few laughs
Day 3 of the Millicent mega, we headed out to do some caching between Millicent and the Mount before heading north and completing the AooA series and a few others in the area. We soon headed to Penola for my celebration event followed by the near by CITO. After some tourist stuff back at the mount we detoured via a few caches before reaching the accommodation for the evening and getting a flat tyre.
Thanks for the cache

Found an interesting selection of animals and other creatures and signed each log with goingplaces2. Had fun, even in the usual wet weather. TFTC.
Gumboots were the favoured footwear with everything being so wet. Came along with ilook4geo and found the zoo to have lots of residents. All were found in their hides and invited us to sign their log books, which we did. Thank you to JonesSisters2 for creating this series and for all the appropriate creatures that were found along the way.
Found while out & about doing a spot of caching with scramping on this rather wet day.
I really enjoyed your series...caches were located (most easily), retrieved, stamped & placed back as found...
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment JonesSisters2

Found with hevwalker today on a cold windy and wet day. Glad I was wearing my new waterproof pants.... fantastic ..... I stayed dry and warm all arvo..... Cool series, well done I loved it.... we did have a bit of a looking problem on a few... couldn't see for the life of us but due to our persistent nature we eventually got over our blindness and had the cache signed and replaced as found. TFTC. Fav point for the series.
A sunny Winter solstice is great perfect day to go caching!! Quickly found with Kellmik.

{FTF} 08.15 Saw these caches were still unfound this morning. With nothing planned today I got in the car and off I went. All were fairly easy finds and coordinates were found to be very accurate. Thanks to JonesSisters2 for this run of caches. TFTC
Saw this series a bit late for FTF but we are on time for 2nd to find. Don't think I will be using my stamp on this lot. TFTC
