Day #6. My last minute WAGB adventure continues today! Road tripping again today but more local. Posums and I are focusing on Albany and surrounds. Plenty still to find on our lists. We were initially stumped by some obvious numbers at GZ that didnt fit with what we were expecting. We widened our search radius and posums found what we needed. A quick and easy find from there but could do with a new log.A big thanks goes to jamesknowlson for taking the time to add Soccer Grounds to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).

I came over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time so I decided to come back over again for this years events in Augusta. So after all of the planning with dates worked out my work decided that I could only have one week off so flying over was my only option. So I flew into to Perth and my first stop will be Busselton for 2 nights. It has been 47 years since I was in this part of WA and Im really looking forward to the re visit.Im making my way down the coast and picking out caches that look interesting to me.After spending a bit of time in Bunbury it was back to the Geo Rent a Car to continue along the coast and I then made it to Busselton.Day 5 of the trip. After caching around Busselton, Dunsbourgh and Cape Naturaliste I reached Albany for 3 nights.Caught up with Roaming Howie again last night and another plan was hatched to first head south to find WAs first then North for the challenge caches. The challenge series and the Lads on Tour jigsaws series are all done so time to head back to base and of course find a couple along the way.We made our way over to the WP and had a look around and noticed something but that could not be it so another look and then the Doh moment happened and we soon had the coords worked. Thanks jamesknowlson TFTMC.

Great little multi. Finally came with no muggles around. TFTC

09-Apr-24
Actually quite enjoyed this multi, no-one around so we had the place to ourselves. The first WP took us to what seemed like the wrong spot as no obvious numbers to be seen...saz went one way, pazza went the other way and while saz accidently found the actual finale log, pazza found the correct numbers for the finale! Well done on a fun multi.Heading into Albany with the bikes in tow to clean up a few more of the unending fun of caches in the area! This was our 6th stop of the day before heading into Middleton Beach to get the treadlies off!Thank you jamesknowlson for placing and maintaining Soccer Grounds for us and others to find and enjoy!

Albany Day 7
Arrived into town Saturday booked into the caravan park for 8 days.
After lunch it was decided that we would do caching closer to home on a course that we would end up near Bunnings. This was a nice way to tour the area. Some good loctions & caches found.
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

2 for 2 today, and an awesome one too! A blue herring at WP1 for sure, and after a few false sets of coordinates, we went for another look. We then had another sensible set of coordinates, and we made the find. Best of all, it's my friend's birthday and there were no muggles about. TFTC

Exams finish this week. I will be back caching until the coming week and would like to keep this one going. Will make the first waypoint for permanent

07-Aug-21
Cache is still down. Despite this place being my second home, I haven’t fixed it.
Reason being is I’m looking to make the first way point a little more permanent. This requires a trip to office works and about 20 bucks.

Under the pump with school at the moment so will try and get this out shortly. Sorry about the wait.

14-Jul-21
Numbers in the wrong spot. Will try fix today

Find 57 of 65 with 0 DNFs during a big WAGB day by bike and by car, working our way across to Denmark via the IAM series then Richlink's event and Crabzy's CITO event, then back to Albany to roam around Mount Clarence in the increasingly wet and cold afternoon. Thanks to all the organisers and COs for a great day.

The only good multi is a quick multi Wink Especially when it's drizzling and cold. And this is a quick multi, so thanks for that. As a kid I would have loved to play on these pitches. Even in winter they look pristine. Our pitches were either mud baths or dust bowls.

TFTC jamesknowlson!

Caching with Kapelula, Meme28 and Burn345 during WAGB event. What a great weekend of caching. Our aim for this weekend was to collect our solved puzzles , caches that worked towards one of the many challenges we are after and anything else that took our interest. Caches were found in great condition. Logged as MIKB
[FTF] with a few other teams all at the cache at the same time.

{*FTF*} @ 20:56 with a big crew.

Out for some night caching and checking the map as were we’re leaving the campsite and saw the FTF on the map so made a beeline for it.
Joined a few other teams and got joined by some more, twas the last pair to arrive that got the needed info for everyone and it was a short walk to GZ.

The first day of WAGB21 had us starting the day in Manjimup working down to Walpole and across to Albany.
It was a slow morning letting the kids run their sillies out in Manjimup Heritage Park. Once we hit the road Mr B dropped off pretty quickly so plans for stops were abandoned and we were just short of Walpole when he woke so it was there we stopped for lunch.
Another couple of grabs after lunch and then it was nonstop to Albany.
The kids were stoked with our cabin and immediately ran off to explore the park.
With the light fading we headed to the Scout Camp for a great catch-up with everyone over snags and the fire.
Once the kids were settled for the night I was back out grabbing some Labs and others around town.
Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
