We werent exactly sure if we should be driving right up to the cache. When no one is around its all good. Then there are the days when is busier than a bee hive. Thankfully it was quick find so we could be on our way before upsetting everyone. tftc
Out on the roads today. After lunch we continued on Tansey Road. A quick find here. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks youngoldfella. All good with this cache
I am heading north to Biggenden one last time.As always, I allow some time to find a few geocaches along the way. After heading down Black Snake road for a few km's to find a few caches I turned around and headed north again. Now to find the remaining caches along this road that I have not found on previous visits. I found this cache after a short search. All is well. Thanks for the cache.
Out on the caching trail today. Beautiful winters day. Finally time to do this series in a loop from Goomeri, Kilkevin Tansy. All caches found in good condition unless otherwise stated.TFTC
After a long day, I decided to make a quick detour on my way home to find this drive-by cache. It was a smooth and easy find, just as described in the cache listing. The coordinates were spot on, and the cache container was in excellent condition. I signed the logbook and left a small trinket behind. It's always a pleasure to discover these hidden treasures along the way. Thanks to the cache owner for placing this one. It added a bit of adventure to my commute home!

After spending the night in town and dining out at the local pub it was time to get out and do colorectal the local area. I am working on a local challenge at home that requires cache numbers in Local government areas and so I need another 80 or so in the Gympie area. This area is rich with caches so off I go. Arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and off I go. I quickly found ground zero and located the cache. After extracting the log and making my mark I quickly returned to the geo wagon in search of my next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Sweet - Sour [^]
I turned off from the main road during my late-night drive, and the hardest part with this cache was walking through a large spider web. Otherwise, the cache was a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Sweet-Sour](https://coord.info/PR5XJWJ) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This 1.5 week trip, the purpose was the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster (QOGM) in Longreach, with its aim to encourage tourism and support in rural towns. Departing from Brisbane on Friday 15/09/2023, I travelled solo taking the northern route through Gayndah, Emerald and Jericho on my way to the event, and then returned through Blackall, Morven, St George, Goondiwindi, and Toowoomba arriving back on Monday 25/09/2023.My Longreach highlights included the two QOGM muster/rally days visiting Muttaburra and Isisford; the Qantas Founders Museum; Stockmans Hall of Fame; Silver Tails Rail Sunset Tour; and the general historical town vibe. Other highlights to/from Longreach included climbing Mt Scoria; Barcaldine's Tree of Knowledge and kayaking in the water park; Blackall woolshed scour; and the smaller intriguing and historical towns that I passed through.During my travel days when I was time-poor, I targeted geocaches that were older in age, high D-T, puzzles/challenges, and rare cache types. In addition, I added 7-8 visited LGAs to my statistics. The scenery was memorable with picturesque sunsets, and a diversity of flora and fauna. There were plenty of kangaroos and wallabies, emus, goannas/lizards, brolgas, hawks, and alas wild hogs, and goats. This afternoon, I departed Brisbane to reach Gayndah for the night. I was able to make a few stops whilst passing through / visiting Gympie and Kilkivan, and it was quite late once I arrived in the cute and charming town of Gayndah.
On a slow trip out to Longreach for the QOGM 2023 event.

10:03:00 AM. In the area with some spare time. A quick park and grab. Log signed. Thanks for the cache Sweet-Sour
Heading for Gayndah and starting caching at Kilkivan. Don't normally do drive by caching. It is just not my thing. I don't mind if they are well spaced. Many of these were much more difficult than the DT ratings suggested. I suspect placed in the dry years while now it is waist high grass in most places.
Today, it stormed , it showered, and at times, it was flaming hot sun. Sometime at the more time-consuming caches, it was all of that.

Found by Mary and David at 11:55. Had to skip a few caches on our list owing to limited parking opportunities and traffic behind us, so this one was a real joy. Our thanks to Sweet-Sour.
On holidays at Hervey Bay and arranged to meet YOF down this way to tackle a few. TFTC
Time to come back to this area on a Maintainence run and also to find caches still for me to locate and log. Left Bargara at 4am so that I could fit everything I wanted to do whilst down this way into a hectic day. Short stop in biggenden on the way home to visit CO and to place some more hides foe his upcoming New Years event. Arrived back home at 1830.
Apologies for Boiler Plate logs but will add extra comment where necessary. Parked close to GZ and it had to happen eventually on this trip. I managed to cut myself on one of the sharp branch ends as I made my away though the tree branches. Quick find in obvious spot as indicated by my GPSr. TFTC Sweet-Sour.

We Have been in the Kilkivan area for a few days and our mission is to find as many of the caches that have popped up here over the years, we thank all the cache owners for placing these. All caches that we have found have been in good condition. SL TFTC
Great spot, we were towing and was an easy spot to pull off the road and up a small hill into the gravel area then park and search for the cache.
Picked up 2 trackables much to the kids delight! GS19CG and SD1WA7

Another day in Kilkivan. We were going to have an easier day but as usual, it didn't work out that way. We changed plans along the way which was a bonus and headed towards Tansey. Then we decided to drive a loop and headed off to Goomeri. Having no lunch with us we stopped in Goomeri to see what we could find. A lovely older small town with some amazing old buildings and a fantastic bakery. Great coffee, but the pies are up there with Mataranka pies. Excellent. We then headed out to Kinbombi Creek Gorge and Falls another unexpected find. We only headed out because there were caches there, but what a bonus. Well worth the diversion.
We then returned to camp a Kilkivan.
Lots of really good sized caches in good condition.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Sweet-Sour.

Last day for two TASSIES in and around Kilkivan. So we thought we would come into town to log caches for the last two days and have another little sortie not too far out.
Did a few on the trails set up for a previous event, but in the end looked for quieter roads. Had this one in hand and signed in good time. TFTC Sweet-Sour.

I’ve come up here to try and qualify for a crazy Challenge Cache in Cunnamulla… Forward planning, I’m driving L’DeVine, so hopefully no busted tyres today…
As I was working off a list in Cachly I didn’t quite appreciate the number of caches that I’m driving by… normally that would do my head in, but what you don’t know can’t slow you down…
A quick find here… and I’m finally in Kilkivan..

We planned to turn the 15 caches released for the mid year event into smiles today as its always a pleasure to drive these country roads. Geowife spotted this one and sent me in to retrieve it, signed and returned as found. TFTC Sweet-Sour and another lovely trip out
Saw this newbie on the map while out cruising this afternoon and thought why not.
So new i'm sure it adds this month to some cache hide statistic somewhere
Thanks sweet-sour for another random cache hide!

Another day caching around this area and another nice Sweet-Sour cache we found. All good with this one, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.
Joint FTF, Nice location. Thanks for your hard work Keith. We will be back. After the hard work in getting this cache coffee and cake was called for in a close town.
This was a joint fi d with AJTMB and Chrisval7, at 10.45am. Great spot for a cache…we had been camped just across the road on a friend’s property for several days before the event!
Found but a bit slow on my bike, I'll have a better idea of what is needed for next time. TFTC.
Attending the Mid Year 2021 event & having been cleared to hit the trails we were off in search of 15 new caches just begging to be found!
#16 of 16 smilies rounded up today.
Our last for today then off for some rare (on our part) event socialising!
The track in was a bit muddy & the large 'puddles' could be hiding anything so we proceeded with caution although it wasn't needed.
The Geo-Beast glided through without a slip or slither.
GZ & the cache were quickly found.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Together with AJTMB, and Dismart, we were joint first to find and signed at 9.45am. Attending the event at Kilkivan and decided to try for this one as an early find.
We really appreciate the safe parking which this cache owner ensures is nearby his caches.

TFTC. We are attending the Mid Year event at Kilkivan this weekend. Along with the new Caches placed for the event we spent the day finding some of the older caches on the area as we passed by. A great day out with 30 finds for the day.
