Took Nicole and I a while to find it because it's so tiny. Needs a new log paper
I owned a Malvern Star.. many many many many years ago. Thanks for the cache and series. Cheers
Needing numbers for my next milestone, I met up with wayn0 to ride the Redlands trail. I was looking for something bigger but then read a few logs and changed my search, took a moment to spot.Tftc OddiewanFind #4888
Easier to spot than the last nano. FYI you should update the size to micro. TFTC
Another nasty little nano which once Obi and myself roamed around was spotted. Signed and placed back. Thanks for the cache
I was working in the neighbourhood so stop to find this one. It was a quick find.
Oddiewan thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment.

Out geocaching with Geo friends and had the use of one of their e-scooters which made this trail much easier than walking.
Made a quick find. Log signed cache returned.

Quick trip to the Redlands to visit some friends before Christmas. Spotted this trail so decided to find some caches along it before some lunch and last minute shopping. Will be back in the New Year to find some more. Nice hide, TFTC.
7/11/22 cranky baby didn’t help the search so we checked some previous logs and then the clue. Quick find once we had the right information. TFTC
5th find of this series today.
Spent a good fifteen minutes wandering around this nice patch of nature, thinking the cache was regular sized hanging from a tree and it would just smack me in the face when spotted. After this not happening, I read a few logs and found out it’s actually micro-sized. With my expectations and eyes readjusted, the sneaky cache was soon spotted.

#15 out on the geo-scooter.while out on the geo-scooter today. Decided to head south-east for a few. Easy find. TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFT
We are doing well today so far only one cache we didn't find. . Heading back to the car. Off to the other side of the road to finish the trail..
Took a while but got it eventually.
While we are in the area we have been doing a few bike trails , this one was a good workout, hides were all fun.
Few quite tricky ones to mix things up a bit

Today my muggle friend and i decided to take a walk along here and find some smileys. We do often ride our bikes together but decided to walk this one. We really enjoyed the 8.6km walk and finding these caches along the way. We were lucky with this one and spotted it after a few minutes.. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Brisbane, we have now set up camp at Thornside for a few days. Visiting the area to catch up with family & also to do some caching.
We chose this biketrail as Bill loves to ride his bike while I walked a few.
Can't say this is an easy trail as there are many micros hanging in trees which took some time to spot. On the plus side the co-ords were good & some very helpful hints. The DT seemed to be low on this series.
Thankyou Oddiewan for placing this cache.

Oh no! Don't drop it:)
We searched around for a while before spotting our quarry. Sneaky little critter.
Replaced as found after signing log.
Thanks Oddiewan

Spent about 20 minutes searching all of the trees before spotting this sneaky nano at eye level. Tftc
Staying nearby and decided to walk this series. Quite a long way and some uphill. We enjoyed the ambience along the way and the variety of hides kept us challenged and entertained. Thanks Oddiewan fav point alloc
Today I decided to head out on 2 wheels and grab some caches. I got lucky with this one and spotted it rather quickly. Tftc Oddiewan
Took awhile to find. But found eventually. Im 5ft2 and it's probs around 5ft3 high.
After joining an enthusiastic group of cyclists to explore the trails around the area this rainy morning, four of us continued on to find a few more, including this one. We enjoyed the variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward, and most were quick finds thanks to the many cachers that we ride with. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space. This little one took lots of eyes and lots of time to find. Manage to drop the base but found within a few minutes. Nasty indeed! TFTC, Oddiewan. =^.^=
This morning, I joined Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) with a morning of finding the *Cycling the Redlands* geocaches series. The rain had magically disappeared from the start of our ride, and it was an enjoyable group session. I then managed to target a few older geocaches in the area before heading home.
In the afternoon, jesswrigley and I headed out and took a walk along Enoggera Creek in The Gap, finding a few of the *On Your Bike* series from #11 to #6. Again, the rain stayed away long enough to have a decent walk along this stretch whilst passing by many muggles similarly enjoying the afternoon.
Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) consisted of bedmakerTG, DisSister, eatmorchikin, JQTB, La Kedi, nikid1, TaxisVW and DrPam, and teamdfl, as well as our esteemed leader Ruzzelz. Meeting at Scribbly Gums, we rode to the eastern end of the trail, with the plan to ride west and collect the caches in the series. We took a coffee break in the middle of the series at the nearby Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre, as well as a few miscellaneous geocaches that we encountered along the way. In total, we rode an approximate distance of 20 km.
We stopped off at this geocache, and oh wowsa did this cache take some searching! We had about 10 people searching and eventually after 10 min, it was nikid1 who made the find! A very sneaky and nasty hide here, and I think the size needs to be updated to micro. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and we signed as *RRG* / *RR* to preserve space in the logbook. Thanks Oddiewan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I ride Scribbly Gums usually every second month so I have been cruising ride past a few of these caches on a couple of occasions. With the New Year fast approaching I decided to test the water on whether a few like minded geocyclists would like to complete the trail.
Now the weather was not looking good but as the ride leader i was duty bound to turn up. Right on cue at the designated start time the rain cleared and a group of many set off to clear the Cycling trail to Redlands.
We set off from Scribbly Gums heading East and then back West to collect caches. After the final western Cycle trail cache four of us pushed on to seek additional caches.
ruzzelz raining (not) ride group all had a great morning on 2 wheels including a diversion to Alex Hill shops for a group session at the coffee shop.

I put my hand up when the call was made as to who would be up for a bike ride around this part of the Redlands.
We all headed out today and found quite a few caches.
Some easy, some hard but all thoroughly enjoyable.
Logs all signed RRG for our group of cyclists.
I remember having Malvern Star when I was young.
TFTC and the history lesson.

Joined an enthusiastic group of cyclists to make the run through the trails here, stopping every so often to take a wander into the bush or ponder a structure. A great variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward. Thankful that many eyes made short work of the hunting in most instances and that the rain kindly stayed away. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space. TFTC Oddiewan
I think I have owned a Malvern Star along the way. It was a mountain bike, but that is all I remember.
Found with a large group of crazy pedalers today. Logs all signed RRG for the group. I don't think I actually found any of the caches myself. I was close at a few, and added our team log to some. Many I did not get near as the group often made for quick finding.
Thanks for the series and the effort to put out so many caches.

A call was put out on Facebook to join up for a bike ride and do this series. Still with a few days of rec leave left I couldn’t refuse. There were familiar faces and a few new ones which is one of the reasons I like these type of events as you can never know too many cachers.
In all we did 20km of riding (we did have to detour off the track for a coffee break)
This one required all hands on deck as it was nasty. Got us talking about our first bikes. I never had a Malvern Star but I wanted one.
Finally I found it. Yippee.
Logs signed as RRG to save on log space.
TFTC Oddiewan for putting out this series.

Found it. Over Christmas lunch my son reminded me that I hadn’t found any caches for this month. With that challenge given, after everybody’s gone home, I had to go and find a cache.
Fairly quick find. Thankfully as the storm clouds were rolling in.

With a milestone approaching I’m trying to find about 50 caches in three days, so this trail looked very inviting…
I keep telling everyone I’m six foot tall… they never believe me, but now I have proof…
I spent some time here wandering around in circles before I spotted the tether…
I’m of that age where I can remember Malvin Stars, and the fact that everyone wanted one…tftc…

A quick visit down the road to get a couple more of these caches. A pleasant walk along the path to get this one. Had to be careful I didn't get a scratch on my legs due to upcoming surgery. This nasty little nano took some looking before I had it in hand and log signed then replaced all as found. Now to find my way back without mishap. TFTC
Out on a bike ride this morning with chamad tackling the new bike series, along with a couple of others along the way.
A great variety of hides in the series, some very clever ideas among them.
Thanks Oddiewan for the great series.

A morning of caching with willis007 and a day for a leisurely Sunday bike ride. A ride from Capalaba to Cleveland enjoying the recent trail of caches on the bikeway. A nice variety of caches, some very tricky hides and some not so hard. It was a fun morning and by the end of the trail, we were done. We were planning on another ride further afield, but we were feeling a little lethargic from the heat and the humidity and called it a day. We still managed to grab a couple of the older caches in the area on our around and towards home. We were happy with our haul today, we got to take it easy and enjoy the caches and the surrounds.
This was the next in the run of caches along this trail. I must be getting better at spotting these types of hide now as this one did not take long to find. Thanks for the hide and with the log signed and cache replaced as found, it was onto the next one.

On the way back towards Vienna Road after finding Apollo I headed off the trail to find this one.
It took me a while to realize that I was not looking for a regular size cache as the listing says and then I returned to my GZ and widened my search from there 3 times before I spotted the nasty hide. In all I was here at least 20 minutes before I found it close to the posted coordinates.

Found it. I signed on the first available part of the log. Sorry for that but my big fingers dropped the little things too many times before. TFTC
Back to tackle some more of the Cycling the Redlands series but once again we forgot to organise any 'cycles!
Nevermind we are enjoying the walking, great exercise!
I believe we may be third to find on this cache ... not bad for a couple of late starters who didn't have transport until a few days ago.
Nice quick find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
