Logs
Last one today. We wandered down the road to find this one which was a quick find. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Imbunda. All good with this cache.
I met up with TeamBenders to solve and find the two IQ series in this area and a few other caches while here. In all, I found 10 caches. We had a bit of time for a short walk and after finding a few others, walked down the road to this one where it didnt take too long to spot. Logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc
I was in the area today to find some old caches and to avenge a DNF on this cache. I did my homework before i came and with the CO's log in october 2022 in mind it did not take long to spot this. The log book is fullish but still plenty of blank spots to sign . Thanks Oddiewan for all the fun
Bit of a tricky find but the comments definitely helped! Needs a new log with @Lacuna__
TFTC! A bit tricky at night, a defeated rest lead me (and SkyeMartin12) straight to the cache however. Yay!
Thanks for the cache. A previous post gave a hint. Signed and placed back. Needs a new log as its full.
Needing numbers for my next milestone, I met up with wayn0 to ride the Redlands trail. A quick find here and we were off again.Tftc OddiewanFind #4881
Reluctantly left the shiny new bike on the path and looked further afield, as a previous log had suggested.Got it TFTC Oddiewan
Out caching with Mr CuriousQuest. This cache was found 11m from where my phone had GZ. Log signed and we were on our way again. TFTC
Today i was out with SelvaGirls to do some caching. Nice quick find log signed and then returned as found. TFTC
Again a good hide. Bit of a search, but go as far from the road as possible. Needs a new log and we have run out
Plenty of clues in previous logs. Nice hide. TFTC - helping me keep up my attempt to log 28 for the Challenge.
Out to get some exercise and have a couple of caches still to get on this bike way, made my way to this cache. Checked a few places then spied the cache. Log signed cache returned .

The wheel of challenge has set me on the desire of being sure to get 100 caches this month. I decided to use a part of the Redlands cycle way to get close to 20 caches today. So Mr 10 and I set off on our bikes.
We tried to find this one at the beginning but had no luck and a jumping gps. So we left it for a new set of eyes on the way back. I texted my reliable note-keeping friend but just as we were given a hint, both Mr 10 and I set our eyes on it. Guess we needed those new eyes.

Funny place for a cache.
Almost gave up but read the logs about expanding the search area and it was soon in hand.
TFTC!

Was about 2 quit when I joined with tamhill85 group, looked well beyond GZ in a obvious, & correct spot!! TFTC:-)
Like a few before us, we also did the GPS waltz here. I normally don’t mind a bit of bounce because health authorities recommend you get 10,000 steps a day and sometimes you can rack them up at one cache.
We did the sensible thing and read through some previous logs. We had the right idea but didn’t search far enough. There was one spot we avoided because of a fallen tree and that was to our detriment, like drinking $5 bottles of wine all night.
The cache was found and we didn’t crack up too much of a sweat finding it. tftc

Quick trip to the Redlands to visit some friends before Christmas. Spotted this trail so decided to find some caches along it before some lunch and last minute shopping. Will be back in the New Year to find some more. Nice hide, TFTC.
Coordinates had me looking for ages on every branch of the bushes. A recent log gave me another idea. TFTC
#18 out on the geo-scooter.while out on the geo-scooter today. Decided to head south-east for a few. Easy find. TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFT
We read some of the logs and thought this was going to be a hard find.. We did go around in circles for a small amount of time..Then looked lower down and bingo there the cache was, out in the open and easily spotted .. Thanks for the challenge
Checked on this one.
It’s all good. Swinging in the breeze.
It’s east of the animal gap in the fence

Brisbane, we have now set up camp at Thornside for a few days. Visiting the area to catch up with family & also to do some caching.
We chose this biketrail as Bill loves to ride his bike while I walked a few.
Can't say this is an easy trail as there are many micros hanging in trees which took some time to spot. On the plus side the co-ords were good & some very helpful hints. The DT seemed to be low on this series.
Thankyou Oddiewan for placing this cache.

I have looked for this one previously without luck.
I bought the rest of the gang with me today as six eyes are better than two
It really wasn't long before it was found and I was able to change the green to a cute yellow smiley.
Thanks Oddiewan

We arrived in the area at lunch time. Our goal this afternoon was to collect found caches in the last LGA area south of Cairns for me. While eating lunch, we checked with a local for some good caches to do and were given s list of 6 caches plus a challenge that they knew we qualified for.
Had a DNF on the first one here and 3 finds, visited trackables.

Day 33 of our adventure to Townsville Mega and home. Had my hand on it, before looking around, stamped log and returned. Thanks to Oddiewan.
We made a beeline for this one, and were happy to make a quick find. Fortunately all seemed quiet on the other side of the road today.
Thanks Oddiewan

A few minutes was all it took for Swearah and I to spot this and get our names on the log. I love these containers. TFTC!
We circled around here for a few minutes before Krcamber made the nice find. Another fun one!
Thanks for the cache, Oddiewan

Staying nearby and decided to walk this series. Quite a long way and some uphill. We enjoyed the ambience along the way and the variety of hides kept us challenged and entertained. Thanks Oddiewan fav point alloc
Today I decided to head out on 2 wheels and grab some caches. Spotted this one hanging around, took me a while to spot . Tftc Oddiewan
This one was a bit of a challenge. once we looked everywhere we thought it would be we found it hiding somewhere else. Tftc. .
Sometimes you need to move your mind out of 'logical' thinking and start widening your...search area. luckily we found this cache hidden, again by looking from the right angle
Joined an enthusiastic group of cyclists to make the run through the trails here, stopping every so often to take a wander into the bush or ponder a structure. A great variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward. Thankful that many eyes made short work of the hunting in most instances and that the rain kindly stayed away. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space. TFTC Oddiewan
I put my hand up when the call was made as to who would be up for a bike ride around this part of the Redlands.
We all headed out today and found quite a few caches.
Some easy, some hard but all thoroughly enjoyable.
Logs all signed RRG for our group of cyclists.
TFTC and the history lesson.

I ride Scribbly Gums usually every second month so I have been cruising ride past a few of these caches on a couple of occasions. With the New Year fast approaching I decided to test the water on whether a few like minded geocyclists would like to complete the trail.
Now the weather was not looking good but as the ride leader i was duty bound to turn up. Right on cue at the designated start time the rain cleared and a group of many set off to clear the Cycling trail to Redlands.
We set off from Scribbly Gums heading East and then back West to collect caches. After the final western Cycle trail cache four of us pushed on to seek additional caches.
ruzzelz raining (not) ride group all had a great morning on 2 wheels including a diversion to Alex Hill shops for a group session at the coffee shop.

This morning, I joined Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) with a morning of finding the *Cycling the Redlands* geocaches series. The rain had magically disappeared from the start of our ride, and it was an enjoyable group session. I then managed to target a few older geocaches in the area before heading home.
In the afternoon, jesswrigley and I headed out and took a walk along Enoggera Creek in The Gap, finding a few of the *On Your Bike* series from #11 to #6. Again, the rain stayed away long enough to have a decent walk along this stretch whilst passing by many muggles similarly enjoying the afternoon.
Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) consisted of bedmakerTG, DisSister, eatmorchikin, JQTB, La Kedi, nikid1, TaxisVW and DrPam, and teamdfl, as well as our esteemed leader Ruzzelz. Meeting at Scribbly Gums, we rode to the eastern end of the trail, with the plan to ride west and collect the caches in the series. We took a coffee break in the middle of the series at the nearby Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre, as well as a few miscellaneous geocaches that we encountered along the way. In total, we rode an approximate distance of 20 km.
We stopped off at this geocache, and it wasn't too long until we managed to make the cache find reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and we signed as *RRG* / *RR* to preserve space in the logbook. Thanks Oddiewan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

To finish off the year, a group of about 15ish of us got together to cycle this great little bike trail, despite heavy rain trying to discourage us right up until the minute we left! Fortunately, it stopped raining long enough for us to complete our 30km exploration of the area, with many finds along the way. As always, we got to catch up with old friends and make new ones, though cycling in such a group made chatting a bit of a challenge, though social distancing easy. TFTC, Oddiewan. =^.^=
Found with a large group of crazy pedalers today. Logs all signed RRG for the group. I don't think I actually found any of the caches myself. I was close at a few, and added our team log to some. Many I did not get near as the group often made for quick finding.
Thanks for the series and the effort to put out so many caches.

A call was put out on Facebook to join up for a bike ride and do this series. Still with a few days of rec leave left I couldn’t refuse. There were familiar faces and a few new ones which is one of the reasons I like these type of events as you can never know too many cachers.
In all we did 20km of riding (we did have to detour off the track for a coffee break)
Loved the comment of one rider as the few searchers weren’t finding it, I’m doing just as the hint suggested. Lol. Finally spied
Logs signed as RRG to save on log space.
TFTC Oddiewan for putting out this series.

The group followed the lead of the hint and so no one was actually looking for it. When we got off the bike it was found. TFTC
I’m almost done for the day, but I keep telling myself… just one more…
I can’t believe I managed to spot this cache from some distance… the sun must have been in just the right position…
Thanks Oddiewan for the time, effort and $$ you’ve invested in this trail for our enjoyment…

The last few caches in this series as I have only been doing a couple at a time because they are so close to home and I can slip out after work to get one. This is the last one in the series for me. I have been to look for this one a several times before but had no luck but today I was joined by a previous finder and soon had it in hand but it was several metres out by my GPS. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
This took us a while. New where we thought it should be, widened our search and found. Tftc
Out on a bike ride this morning with chamad tackling the new bike series, along with a couple of others along the way.
A great variety of hides in the series, some very clever ideas among them.
Thanks Oddiewan for the great series.

A morning of caching with willis007 and a day for a leisurely Sunday bike ride. A ride from Capalaba to Cleveland enjoying the recent trail of caches on the bikeway. A nice variety of caches, some very tricky hides and some not so hard. It was a fun morning and by the end of the trail, we were done. We were planning on another ride further afield, but we were feeling a little lethargic from the heat and the humidity and called it a day. We still managed to grab a couple of the older caches in the area on our around and towards home. We were happy with our haul today, we got to take it easy and enjoy the caches and the surrounds.
This was the next in the run of caches along this trail. There was a lot of activity here today the parking area was full of bikers and a lot seemed to peel off past where we were looking. This took us a while as it was different to what we had been looking at, sneaky. Thanks for the hide and with the log signed and cache replaced as found, it was onto the next one.

Back to tackle some more of the Cycling the Redlands series but once again we forgot to organise any 'cycles!
Nevermind we are enjoying the walking, great exercise!
Nice quick find for Mrs VC.
A couple of muggles scooted by up the road, on eScooters, but all good as we were invisible!
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Beautiful purple flowers growing nearby.
