Find number 14157 at 3:05:58pm on Wednesday the 25 September 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we had planned to go south from Dawesville and inland a little on the quest for LGA's but an early morning call from RoamingHowie changed all that, "I'm chasing a D5/T5, are you interested?", HELL YEAH So off we headed, north rather than south, we still chased a few LGA's but also a few Giants as well.A few geocaches on the way in and out to the local Giant **Thanks for placing this cache macgyver1973**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
Found with axell33 as we end our nice walk around the lake collecting the caches here. A quick walk around gz and the cache was in hand. Made our mark and returned it to its spot. Thanks for the hide macgyver1973.
Making our way around the lake we stopped for this one and made a nice quick find. We signed your log and returned your cache back to where it resides. TFTC macgyver1973.
Found a cache on a near by tree don't know if it's the right one had geocaching symbols on lid
Found a little cache. Is it right? Not sure what the hint had to do with it. Some people showed a different container so maybe there's two here?
Nice little hide. No kitty cat spotted unfortunately. It was a quick find after giant hunting nearby. TFTC
Enjoying a lakeside stroll on this lovely winter's day. No cats in sight, real or not, but we did find a snazzy and well stocked container. TFTC, macgyver1973!
We're out for a stroll with friends around Black Swan Lake. They've already found the caches here, so we've got an advantage if we run into any troubles but there was no problem here. Simples!
Thanks for find #4593

Not to sure what cache we found close to the pin but signed a pop stick and put it back..definitely nothing to do with a cat. Will go back to try find what it is everyone else is finding.
Absolutely sodden wet, picture taken, couldn't sign...unfortunately didn't have a replacement log as clearly needed!
Tftc. Finished mothers day breaky with the fam and decided to go for a lil stroll. Nice quick fine
Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.
Now staying in East Rockingham for a few days. The plan was to head south and look for the Mandurah Giants. The plan was great but without too much planning we had no idea that the walks would be so long and well of course there were caches along the way! With a 3.8km walk to/from the first Giant and maybe 10 or 12 caches that took us nearly 2 hours. Then we drove from Lakelands to Halls Head and realised we had lost 1 of our phones. So back to Lakelands and back walking 1km to find the phone right where we left it thankfully. Then to the Mandurah visitors centre to find out what we didnt know about the Giants and a visit to Simmos by then the day was coming to a close!
A stop at the shops, meant we attempted a couple more caches that were just there.... then we had to complete an AdLab that we started on Thursday and of course by that stage it was definitely after hours so a visit to BYOB 16 rounded out our day. Phew.

Find 23 of 24 with 9 DNFs on a 40km bike ride taking in most of the peninsula south of Mandurah, starting at Santi Ikto, down to the Cut and back, then the last couple on a second 4km bike ride to see Little Lui, the giant.
Starting our second bike ride, we called in here for a new-ish cache, placed since our last visit which was coming out of the 2020 lockdown, before the giants landed. We reckoned this one was about 12m out from our GZ.
TFTC macgyver1973!

TFTC macgyver1973!
Decided to spend a few hours this morning grabbing some caches that were not too far from home.
Found this one lying some ways from the GZ, used my GPS to determine the likely hiding spot.

Bit too hot to do the lake walk so we’ll be back in the early waving tonight. Found this one but the hint didn’t make sense to us. Thanks macgyver1973
