I only got home from Vietnam and already I am off on a mission I have been looking forward to with great anticipation since I first head about it. Today is the second Tidbinbilla Deep Space Tracking station tour led by 2 Leg Drive. I left plenty of time to visit a few caches on my way out and that went smoothly, but nothing can compare with standing up close and personal to the big antennas at the tracking station. Not to mention the history that has passed through individual dish's ! It was a great day, and it did not even rain on us as predicted. As I rolled down the hill from the Pines cache I was able to drive past two other caches and was happy to find and sign both of them. Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN45010.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2019 March ROT Advanced Cipher Key A#394**Albida**

#4205 It is very rare that you get to lay your bike over and sit right next to GZ. This was one of those unique moments and I was able to retrieve, log and replace without venturing from my spot. Cheers DSD.

Another long weekend excursion out to Pierces Creek. On the hunt for caches on the Western side today. Cloudy once again, not as cold as it could have been. Hoping to beat the forecasted rains for the afternoon, not much fun sliding around in the mud. Cache found, signed and replaced. TNLNSL TFTC

A cool and drizzly afternoon, but perfect weather for a solo ride and walk around Pierces Creek forest.

This cache was a straightforward find at GZ - thanks, DSD!

I was on my way from Camp Cottermouth to Honeysuckle Campsite and needed a cache for the day, so I thought I'd get one a short distance on dirt roads...

Getting up here is quite steep and I went as far as my Subaru would go, then did a precarious 4 point turn, parked the car and walked the last 200 m. Quick find of the cache. Great views with the plantation across the road recently cleared. Dramatic views as well as there was low hanging cloud on the higher mountains. As it was getting dark and I still had a fair distance to drive, I left it at that one cache for the day.

**This Cache**

On the way up to the top of the hill, this cache was a good stop along the way! Superb hiding spot too, I was amazed by the perfect "cave" under the rock to hide this container so well. This one will NEVER get wet with how sheltered it is!

Thanks DSD!

**Today:**

The "Adventure Boys" consisting of DARKSIDEDAN, Sui_001, sebass19 and myself were very keen to give the new "Scary Movies" series a crack ASAP since seeing it come out the other night!

sebass19 and myself met up a couple hours early to do some extra caching in the Cotter before the other two arrived, as Dan didn't clock off work until 5pm. We grabbed a variety of caches before meeting the Dan and Sui in the Cotter at 5:45pm to start our convoy to the series.

Haven't had this much fun for a while, highly recommend this series to everyone! Make sure you come prepared with a couple hours up your sleeve for the full experience, and bring friends as it won't be as fun to do alone!

Finally got back home at 8:30pm and straight to bed for a 5am wake-up the next morning....zzzzz!

Out and about solo caching today. I started at Corin Rd, then headed for Tidbinbilla, followed by Pierces Forest. Finishing with a couple on the edge of the city before calling it a day. 6 separate walks - about 10km all up. A pleasant day to be out. A quick park and grab here. A fun drive getting here though. TFTC.

Today’s star attraction was our hike to find the 'Ancient Spine of the Giant Water Dragon' in the Bullen Range (coming in from Tidbinbilla Tracking Deep Space Station). In the end it turned out to be just a morning walk but that’s another story.

Thinking it was going to take us all day to tame the dragon we decided to stop off here on the way for two short warm up walks. It was a beautiful morning and the views and stroll to GZ were lovely. Quick and easy find. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN.

[FTF] Woot woot!! At 19:37, I'll take it! Balmy night and I had literally driven this trail less than 2 hours previously for another cache nearby so I knew exactly where I was going. I'd not long got home from a long day cycling the Pipeline Road when this came out. Hadn't even made it into the house so what the heck, after 10 minutes hestitation, back I went. No sign of any other cars in the vacinity so was hoping I would be safe.

Super easy and quick find. Thanks DARKSIDEDAN for placing this cache. Nice to get my name in the book first after you pipped me with another one this morning Smile
