Walked on from one of the Monster Lane hides to find this one securely tucked away. Sadly the log paper is rather tattered. Could do with a replacement. TFTC.
The hidden challenge was finding space to sign on the worn and tattered log. Thanks for the placement.

2553 - I had tried to grab this one almost two years ago when I went on a wander down Monster Lane, but it was missing back then. Today I went for a short walk in the sun to change the blue frown into a yellow smiley and I did so successfully at 1:11pm. Unfortunately, the log paper was very damp, so I stayed around for a couple of minutes and let it dry a bit in the sun and the breeze coming from the traffic on the Arterial. I replaced it back inside the container and then continued on my walk. Thanks for placing this one here georode, my closest unfound cache to home has now been found. Oh, and I qualified for this Challenge cache more than 15.5 year ago!

Out caching with TennilleC. Unfortunately the log is wet making it difficult to sign and almost impossible to roll to fit it the bison. But I got there in the end. Now to check if I qualify. Hmmm.
Signed, will log when I check if I qualify. I'm out caching on this beautiful day while visiting your country. I am visiting from Rhode Island and traveling with a group of cachers from USA and Canada. We will be traveling to Brisbane, Sydney, and embarking on an NCL cruise to the South Pacific. Logs will be signed with our names or group name to saveroom on logs. SPCA24. Thank you to the COs who hide and maintain these caches. Everything below this line is for Project-GC log numbers. ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** I will be attending any nearby events to meet up with local cachers. I will be targeting gadget caches, which are always a fun challenge. Older caches and Virtuals aren't to be missed. Solved puzzles that I've spent many snowy days working on. Earthcaches are always worth the lessons learned. Challenge caches are some of my favorites even if I don't qualify yet... something to work towards. Webcams before they all disappear. High favorites are always worth the fun. Adventure Labs point out things I would usually just drive by without the work a CO puts into them. New counties, whenever possible, for some of those challenges I've already signed. Let's not forget towns for MA351 whenever in the area. I'm always on the lookout for large sized containers and caches for my Fizzy and Jasmer grids. Logs will be stamped with our caching names or initials to save room on logs. I don't always stamp in order, I will fill in spaces if there are any on the log. If answers are required, one of us will send them when we get home. Thank you to all of the COs for the time and dedication of hiding and maintaining these Geocaches for everyone to find! ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

So dropped the daughter at Uni and wandered over here to get a cache or two before she finishes and needs a ride home.
Walked most of this series over time, but not many of the new ones, so nice to get here and pick one or two of these up.
Cache is dry and in good condition.
Thanks for giving me something to fill in time and get a walk in the sunshine!

TFTC! Finally riding from Redcliffe on the cycle way to find a cache. Thanks for organising this challenge cache for all to achieve.
There are now so many Challenge caches on the go around here that I genuinely had to consider whether I wanted to find this one today… or leave it for a date which suits another Challenge!
But in the end I decided to sign it and claim it because
Who knows when I might be back?!
The cache is well concealed and all is good here, so TFTC.

Out this morning grabbing a few cache finds and this was one of them. Project GC said I had 10,401. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Georode. All good with this cache and challenge.
We qualify for this challenge (lol) and enjoyed the easy walk and find. Thanks for the cache, it gave us a laugh and as a mystery cache with a rare 1/1 too, we think it deserves a FP.
Alyce and I decided to head to Bracken Ridge today to sign a variety of challenge caches and grab some others we came across on our visit.

One of my geocaching resolutions for this year was to make more of an effort to qualify for a number of incomplete challenge caches. As it happened one of the unfulfilled challenges on my list involved finding other challenge caches in the month of July. I carefully prepared a to-do list of target caches for which I had already qualified, with plans to head out today to pick them off.Well I guess a challenge is a challenge, no matter what the DT rating is . This one was close by so I stopped in to make the find. TFTC
Found this cache on our wanders and signed the log. Yep, pretty sure we qualify.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I checked to see if I qualified - don't qualify for many of these challenges - but this one was successful. Found with Geo-grandsons. TFTC
Today I had almost 6 hours to enjoy the sunshine and find some caches before returning to the airport to head home. A lovely day out, it got fairly warm by the end. This one was a quick find and sign. Still reeling from Cryon

**Ich bedanke mich bei georode für den Cache, das Zeigen dieses Ortes, das Legen und Pflegen der Dose und den Spaß beim Finden! Thanks for the cache!

As I asked the CO if I could use his challenge I think I may qualify. Happy to do a short walk to lower my average a bit further
4/3/2023 Find #5762
I needed to get out this afternoon. For a couple of reasons. 1. Because we were 3 movies into the day, and pretty tragic choices at that. And 2. Because I may be slightly competitive with steps against friends.
So Fangoki suggested maybe we could go somewhere where he could ride his fancy new scooter while I got my steps. And I decided therefore that Monster Lane would fit the bill nicely, and clear a few of the last ones I had left off the list. With those completed, we decided to continue our journey around the area,
What a challenge! Now you wouldn’t think so as it requires so little to qualify, however this one took 2 trips to this location to claim it as it was missing back in the day when Fangsoki and I originally came looking for it, and it has taken until now to get back here to rectify this DNF.
Thanks for the cache georode.

I love Challenges ️
We were able to find the challenge cache and signed the logbook. I will check at home whether I am fulfilling the task and then log with all the necessary evidence.
Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explored the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos visited the koalas and continued north via Coober Pedy to Alice Springs. We hiked around the impressive Uluru and through the beautiful Kata Tjuta and breathtaking Kings Canyon. The gorges of the Macdonell-Ranges are nice too. We traveled north and than east to Townsville and Magnetic Island. From Airlie Beach we rafted to the Whitsunday Islands for snorkeling and swimming at Whitehaven Beach and took a seaplane to the Great Barrier Reef.
On the way south we visited the capricorn coast, Great Keppel Island, 1770, Bundaberg, Rainbow Beach, Noosa, Tamborine National Parc, Goldcoast and the mainland's easternmost point Cape Byron.

After a successful morning paddle Mr CNQ found some lunch nearby then found the cache. I like challenges as we have to travel to find them and they help prioritise travel time. I am torn between creating some near Charters Towers, which although regional is close enough to Townsville to meet the centralisation requirements. And using someone else to do the checker for the sanitised versions. Thanks or another challenge georode.
Checking our challenge caches to and we now qualify for this challenge . TFTC georode and I agree with you disappointment about how hard challenge caches are to get published.
In town for a short trip so with some gaps between other duties we headed for a few select caches. No this trip so we will have to clean up a few more of this on another trip.

I had previously been to look for this one twice before and found nothing so I found it today after it was replaced by CO. I qualify for this cache as ProjectGC gave me a green tick. TFTC

Out with Mr CuriousQuest, finding a few caches. We searched extensively for a cache that should have been an easy find, but had no luck. CO Check is required, please
I was wandering past this one this afternoon on a walk down Monster Lane and I had a look twice, once on the way down and then again on the way back and nothing was found here. Checked about 10 metres either side of ground zero, and with a pretty clear hint, I couldn't spot it today unfortunately.
Just checked! Signed this one last year, but happy to note we finally qualify.

I am in Brisbane house sitting for friends for a week or so.
Time to find a few caches while I am in town.
A quick find for me today once I got to GZ.

I found this challenge cache on the weekend, along with a few others, and hadn't read the description properly. I qualified for this one 10 years ago

Thanks georode for the cache and challenge.
Had a great time wandering around Bracken Ridge and Deagon collecting georode's challenge caches. I do not yet qualify for this one.
Thanks for the challenge and cache georode.
Thanks for the challenge and cache georode.
With my parents visiting for the weekend, I wasn't sure what my plans would look like this evening. So after assisting with dinner, I managed to convince my dad to come for a drive with me over to Bracken Ridge, in anticipation of a new cache for publish.
It was interesting to see this cache published in its current form, but perhaps there is some empathy shown by the local reviewers on these matters. I do enjoy challenges and the variety that are around the place, and the CO's latest series of day and month challenges adds another complexity even to experienced geocachers, just based on the randomness of caches collected in the past. However, there are some great ideas for challenges that unfortunately are turned down, and the inability of the community to petition with more freedom seems to be one item lacking in geocaching and to Groundspeak. Perhaps this is one advantage of organisations like Geocaching Australia that are actually run by the community? Hopefully, with more feedback and collective statements provided, the game can continue to evolve and be better for everyone (both newbies and experienced).
Anyway, rant over. With only a light drizzle and my dad's morale still going ok, he accompanied me on a short walk along the bike path which detoured past this cache. I was in the area late last year when I noted a couple of DNFs, so I didn't rush to add my DNF to this 1.0-1.0 D-T cache. So whilst in the area today, we stopped at GZ, and after a few looks along the fence, we found the gold bison found, but that was after my shoe stepped into a deep hole and puddle, sigh. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks georode for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
I used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9DF5J/61787 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if I qualified for this challenge, and I did.
I have found 21,101 geocaches, and required one.

Hidden among recent grass clippings. The person was now cutting grass further along the path. The log has been wet in the past. TFTC georode.

Some exercise needed today, so I parked on other side of the freeway near the race track, crossed the curly-wurly bridge and then walked a nice big circuit collecting caches. No problems making the find here.
I qualify, though out of habit, I blindly hit the link for the challenge checker, and then realised what the challenge entailed. Interestingly, there is on red cross on the challenge checker.
You will be glad to know that this challenge now will be used to qualify for another one!
Many thanks georode

I've had this Mystery Cache solved for a long time (lol...always wanted to say that )Log sheet is damp, and could probably do with replacing. TFTC
Today we made our walking exercise along this Bikeway. Noisy, but we had no DNF on our targeted caches.
Love those days!
Yes, we qualify for this challenge.

I have long since lamented the guidelines for challenge caches. All of the fun and creativity seems to have been sucked out of them. Such a shame, because they make for great goals to keep me active and engaged in this hobby.
I suspect many of our reviewers feel the same, and are trapped between how things are (the rules, which they can't change) and how things could be (a dream challenge cache utopia). But here we are!
Thanks for the "challenge", georode. And congrats again on your recent massive milestone!

We came along today to find a selection of challenge caches with ilook4geo. Achieved the qualifications needed here as this cache is number 28,529 on our list.
Thanks go to georode for creating this series of challenges which was our focus for the day.

Out for a pedal to collect a T3 cache and some other challenges. A DNF here last visit. Much easier to find when there is actually a container to find.
Current find count as of logging this is 12163. Thanks for the smiley.

Wasn't sure if we would qualify for this one but with a green light from the challenge checker we were able to log the find. We are travelling the lane today on scooters and decided to swing by this one. Once we realised that the cache was missing swearah reached out to the CO to get permission to replace this missing cache. Tftc georode
Super surprised jodsta83 and I qualify for this. Or maybe we don’t and are just logging it anyway
We were out on the scooters today - my first time! Even though jodsta83 was a great coach, I still expected to come home with a scar or two, but it wasn’t to be. I did come off once, but I landed on my feet and was pretty careful after that!
At GZ we didn’t have any luck and then jodsta83 read the last logs about blue frowny faces. Oh dang! A rustle around in the ol’ backpack produced a black bison so we messaged the CO to see if we might replace it while we were there.
Arriving at the next cache, grateful permission was received so we scooted back and popped a new one on the fence as per the hint.
Thanks for the cache, georode

A nice pedal up to Clontarf and back. A few finds, way to many DNFs and now to round up the rest of these challenges. Well maybe not this one. It would appear that the challenge is finding the cache.
1MinnieMoo and I went passed this one today. We were not able to spot it. It seems there is some damage to a fence nearby. It was not where I remember finding it. Perhaps we're blind.
What a challenge indeed!! I had a good laugh when I looked up what was needed to qualify for this. I just had to add this to my list for when we’re down in Brisbane. We’ll, we’ve been down a few times since it was published but it’s always for some specific event and our time is spoken for. Today I decided we just had to make the effort and detour on the way home. I’d looked up where to park close by and went for a short walk by myself. Not a cyclist in sight as I signed the log! Yay - another challenge achieved ️. TFTC georode
In Brisbane for the weekend and joining forces with echocage1, partly cos 2 sets of eyes are better than one, partly because she has a car & I don’t, mostly just because we can, and definitely because that’s what geocaching friends do right?
We came; we searched; we found; we signed; we returned cache to its home; and we left in search of our next adventure.
Thanks to georode for What a Challenge

Out with IolantheK for a spot of caching today [^]
She had "ALL these challenge caches" on her radar so off we went for a walk around the area.
This one was easy to spot and retrieve and we had number eight, and I qualified

Out with T-Tech for a few hours rounding up some caches.
This one couldn't be left behind, so we drove to a very familiar spot and took the walk to GZ. A quick find and of course we both qualify. TFTC, georode.

I’m pretty lucky that I don’t do a lot of shopping and also work at home a lot. For that reason I don’t really have to wear a mask that often. I feel for the people that have to wear them all day at work but to me they are hardly an inconvenience. The main time I wear them is for walking up to the bar to buy a beer.
I’ve just come back from two nights at Bundaberg where the word mask is not part of the vocabulary. I am so jealous.
Where they are 200% an inconvenience is when you are walking back from the bar and need to burp. Having a trapped beer burp in your mask is like being accidentally buried in a coffin. The only thing I can equate it to is when you sneak out a fart in bed and then put your head down under the covers to see how it rates on the Richter scale.
I’m also a natural born tight-wad and seeing that I only need to wear a mask for a few minutes a day, I will happily reuse and recycle. The only time I grab a new one is when a beer burp has tainted it. Reusing a face mask that you’ve burped in is the next pandemic. tftc
