Wish to say it was a quick find but quite the opposite.I recapped my work and onto clearing caches around Church point
After a thorough search it was eventually found. Phew what a climb for us oldies tftc
Very steep road. We didnt drive up as we didnt know if parking or turning was available. TFTC I think!
Gosh went via Quartersessions Road - puff puff! But we did finally find the cache TFTC
Were is it, all the caps are poped off and its no were. Even the hint didnt help
No Luck. Lots of cap tains adrift, searched plenty. Counted a few times. Lots of ants nests. Shame.
I drove up a very steep road and parked at the top, then headed up the stairs. At GZ I had a good look, made easier because some previous searchers had not returned the scene to just as it was. I did return some components but there were too many missing. Thanks for a great hide in a very interesting place, I liked this one.
Out for a Boxing Day walk and decided to look for a couple of caches around Church Point.I used the hint as there were so many likely locations, which made it a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Had a meeting nearby today and it was the perfect chance to grab this cache. Brush turkeys galore at GZ. TFTC
After the Church Point cemetery as part of the Northern Beaches Cemeteries Lab cache, we intended to walk up to this one. Having started the ascent, we decided to get the car an use it for the approach.
Cache was found after some searching. Pity that some of the covers had been removed and not replaced. That is not good geocaching practice.

Ventured over to the Northern Beaches with frazeydaze for a days caching. After stepping the 29 steps and sitting down and having a feel around it was CIH. Lovely view from up here. TFTC
Out caching with oldmorty along the Northern Beaches coastline.
We’d just found the Church Point cache and decided to drive to this one.
A pretty scary, very steep road with no turning circle at the end.
I left oldmorty at the stairs while I turned the car and made my way back down the road to find an elusive park. I then climbed back up the road and had a rest to catch my breath before I climbed the stairs to oldmorty.
A thorough search resulted in cache in oldmorty’s hand.
Thanks to ham309 for hiding this cache for us to find.

A quick climb, counting the steps. Once at GZ I quickly found the cache at the only place where the cap was not removed.
TFTC.

Chasing cemeteries for an Adventure cache and in the area. We lucked out and got a free parking space down That’s the good news. The not quite so good news is that meant a very steep approach to GZ. We made it and started the search noting the same giveaway previous searchers had noted. We dips our lids to the CO. Great spot. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Well I wanted a couple of finds today for the calendar date and I haven't been to Bayview for a very long time and with several new caches in the area I decided to come and explore this afternoon.
When I was at uni one of my friends lived in Bayview. It's still a quiet area but there are certainly many more houses these days. I went up the top way because that had been where my friend lived. The view is even better now with so many boats in the bay!
This staircase down to the lower street and Pittwater Road certainly wasn't here.
I was able to follow the advice of the hint without going all the way to the bottom, counted carefully and then noticed all the caps were off. Hmm.
Except one, the one hiding the cache!

Great hiding spot, and great effort up hill. Lots of caps missing, which made finding it a little confusing.
Found with EverestHigh on our way to CCE. We counted, we looked, we found,we signed and we replaced. The right number of steps/landings and the tell tale symbol at GZ, meant we could cap off a nice stop in this area. A good placement for a cache. TFTC
Awesome Bay views! Raised the usual conversation about whether a 'landing' is counted as a 'step' or not. Nevertheless, we found it fairly easily. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC ham309
#9254 (6 of 7 today)I am gradually catching up with my logging - I'm missing two months worth or so. And that's over 100 caches! At least my most recent finds are up to date - just need to fill in the gap!To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, I just have to put my mind to my future goals... 25 per day? Owwww.Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###Ooh, publishing has gone off - but not close, one new cache out Church Point way. Well, I need a few finds today to keep the Calendar Caching Gods happy, so might as well go for it.Got it and a second First2Find near by, a previous DNF and a few others to boot. A good day.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Took a few minutes, but using my cache senses soon turned up the sneaky hide.Signed, replaced and back down the steps.SLTNLNTFTC
I looked for a couple hours. I even used the hint. There is no sign of the GeoCache. I am starting to believe that someone has either come across it and taken it or someone base moved it.
FTF @ 9:38 AM.
We had noticed this new Bayview cache pop up a couple of days ago, and had no thoughts of attempting a FTF on it, but then noticed that it still hadn’t been found this morning ahead of our planned drive down to Mona Vale shops. So, before starting our shopping, we decided to drive the short extra distance from Mona Vale shops to Bayview to try our luck at being the first to find the cache.
Drove the geomobile up the very wet and rather steep incline of Quarter Sessions Road (thankfully it’s a 4X4 with plenty of traction) and parked on the side of the road at the base of the stairs. Headed up the stairs, taking careful note of the provided hint information, and soon found ourselves with CIH. Opened up the logbook and was pleased to find no “post publication” dated log entries, so we signed as FTF, picked up the TB to move on, and then replaced the cache exactly as we had found it.
TFTC ham309, and congratulations on your first cache placement. It’s nicely presented, and we liked the little touch of added detail.

just to let the ftf know that if they see other names in the log book don't mind those because i literally told the people who signed it where it before the cache was published is so you are still the first to find and i'm really excited to see someone find it
