#5996 Making our way home now back to NE Victoria after a couple of months towing our van around WA. Had to stop at the bakery across the road as we had read great things about it. It did not disappoint. After stuffing our faces we made the find here without too much issue. TFTC TheBrennnan5.
Passing through town and decided on a 2pm lunch from the bakery. Parked about 15m from GZ. Was a nice quick find by Mr dimor before I got there.TFTCIt is definitely there. A black nano as stated
Sadly ditto below on the cache.Coalseam was shut to us but a visit to Depot Hill made up for that. Splendid with flowers.
A few muggles about, but I didn't find it when they left. The council has added flower beds around the sign and marked out an area for something new, maybe it's been spotted and removed.
Found 13:27Three months of travelling in Western Australia with Muggle friends from the East coast; stopover in Singapore on the outward and return flights. Caches and labs where they are on the way and can be done without too much effort. You may forgive me for using the same standard phrase everywhere, but there's not much more to it than that. Many thanks to all the owners for making our hobby possible. If there is anything wrong with the cache, more detailed information follows.
Found. Passing through on our way south from Mullewa. Lunch not far from cache. Find on my 70th birthday TFTC
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 76 - Carnamah to Perenjori via Three Springs, Mingenew and Morawa. As a surprise, it was another fine, if overcast and cool day. There were a few great surprises today. The first two towns were great spots and would have been good places to top. Labs in Three Springs and then a fun hilltop walk for a cache in Mingenew. I visited a Talc mine and then turned south east to get to my final stop for the day. The pub in Perenjori was a bit well decorated and had a big crowd, but that may be the Friday effect. I still went back to the van for dinner. Tomorrow is a longer drive to Mount Magnet with not too many caches on the list, but I have to get to the County Cue, the second last in WA.Mingenew was the next town on my travels, and putting a cache over the road from a bakery at lunch time should be banned. I almost made it out without spending any money, but that is just almost. The cache was fund without any problems. Thanks for the cache TheBrennan548439.9 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2023 Rutherglen Event Morning A#517**Albida**
Dowerin last night, now heading north, then west, then south down the coast. A rather average type of day with wind and rain threatening to start out the day. We had showers and rain while driving that stopped for caching, nice! Through the day the clouds cleared, the sun started shinning, the wind is gone. A bit of a sticky situation delayed us, but with help from hood folk, we were back on the roads. A nice straightforward find here tonight. Thanks for the cache.
After looking a little harder it was found and the log replaced. The previous log was definitely due for a change over. Tftc
Pretty sign. This town is a hive of activity. It's quite different from many we have travelled through. Log very full Tftc
Found with Crafty Dusty and the geopooches on our road trip around Oz. I didnt have a pen so will send a pic of the found cache. Cheers!
Heading up for the annual camping trip to Gnaraloo Station and taking an inland route as far as Mingenew specifically to tick off a stray LGA As usual a few 'leg-stretchers' along the way as well - including this one:) All quiet around here today (sadly it isn't doughnut day!), but it meant an easy opportunity to park up and make a fast find. 'Gears' indeed, lol. No problems here - TFTC
In the area for a community play session - nice quick find before we left! TFTF! Log is a little full now!
Had to do a drive by past this one as there were a few workers having lunch on the picnic tables. A quick detour to the local shop and they had disappeared when I came out. Nice quick find. Managed to squeeze my scribble on the log. TFTC
Stopped for a treat and looked for this one; might need checking. There is a stand but nothing else
Found while exploring Mingenew area today. Great lunch at the bakery, while watching the train pass.

Heading north on a road trip with richlink grabbing some caches along the way. Thanks to The Brennan4.
Catching up on some late logs.
Heading across to Geraldton to catch up with some friends who are not travelling too well at the moment I decided to take the road less traveled and pick up another Western Australian LGA.
Last time that we were in this part of the world was back in the mid eighties when we came down from Sandstone to do a couple days detecting down here but unfortuantely we didn't even find enough to cover our fuel costs.
This time we were also in search of treasure but of a totally differnt kind. This area certainly has changed since our last visit over30 years ago and we believe it's for the better. We went about admiring some of the structures and also got lucky and located the geocache in the second place we looked but unfortuantely the log book was chockers full and if the CO wants it just drop us a line and we will send it to you.
Many thanks for bringing us back to this interesting part of the world.

On the road with axell33 heading north to Broome with a detour to Nullagine. Spent the day criss- crossing the golden wheatbelt on those less taken roads. After dinner at the local we grabbed this one before finding a place to settle for the night. TYFTC here.
Taking the back roads as we head north to Broome and ended up in Mingenew after dark. So we had some dinner at the hotel and went for a walk afterwards to grab this cache. A quick search turned up the prize and we added our names to your log. This was our last one on a long day caching. TFTC TheBrennan4.
Today we went from Geraldton via Three Springs to Coorow. On the way we stopped at some geocaches and could find all of them well. Despite the heat of 40 degrees, it was a pleasure to look for the caches. Thanks for laying and maintaining.
Out and about on a Creation Safari and grabbing a few caches that ate along the way.
Just as well we couldn’t get ice from the caravan park as the shop brought us within 100 metres or so of this one and I literally tan off to get this one.

The wildflowers certainly have been amazing. Right down from Mt Augustus through to Cue and beyond, there are carpets of colour. This little cache was found in a very fitting spot. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Caravanning , caching and hunting wild flowers on this trip from S.A. A nice easy find on our way after visiting Coalseam Nat Park. Alas there were no doughnuts today. T.F.T.C.

Found on a trip to the west from South Australia.

We stopped in Mingenew on the way from Mullewa to Dongara as the op shop was open and there was a cache to be found. I visited the op shop and had a chat to the lovely lady running it, and then wandered over to the cache, which did not take long to sniff out.
Day 2 of our 3 week break, we stopped overnight just south of Mingenew & made this cache our first stop on todays journey... Jase made the quick find here whilst I was searching a nearby object

It has been a day of showers off and on while going south with ilook4geo. This cache was easy enough to find after waiting for a while until the rain eased up. This rain also kept the muggles at bay which made the find easier. Log was signed with two more lots of initials before we continued south. Thanks for this hide go toTheBrennan4. We love exploring wildflower country.
Made a joint find here with goingplaces2. No problem in locating the container. All replaced as it was found after the signing had been done. TFTC.
A quick find here with Deefa71 on a 450km drive collecting LGAs. Damn those flies though! Lig bokk was full so i have replaced it. Tftc
