THE JOYS OF BEING A CACHE OWNER .Some times you wonder what some folk do when they discover a container that they don't own but then set about removing it for some unknown reason. I notice that it has been disabled. This has happened to me so many times after owning caches since 2005.
Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 4: Plus 1 Geelong to Whittlesea
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. We arrived in Geelong last night and this morning we rectified a few DNFs from three years ago did some labs and picked up our mate Bushfire and headed northwards toward the Mega [^] We stopped for a few new caches and lab caches along the way. - As you do.
You pwned us noobs.
**Thanks baraamundi for the search anyway. **

I came and searched for your D2.0/T1.0 Traditional today, but it didn’t reveal itself to me.
Stopped by on my way home with the baby in tow. The pram would have been the perfect cover considering the couple hanging out in their garage across the park but there was no luck for me here today.
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there baraamundi,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

My son was playing hockey at the nearby hockey ground so I took the opportunity to go for a short walk at halftime to find this cache. Luckily it was in the first place that I checked.
Thank you baraamundi for this cache.
Thank you baraamundi for this cache.
Took me a while but I had forgotten to use the compass, just started this today. Awesome fun
OHC and I are both on a run of sorts so decided to team up some caching. With an ice cream to finish, it was a good night!
A few kiddies playing but we had a stealthy find here.
Thanks to baraamundi for the placement, fun and adventure.

Wandered across on this balmy evening. Used the old shoelaces undone trick.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, baraamundi

I had the day off to get the Geowagon serviced and after picking it up and then I realised that it was still early enough so it was time to find a few of the local caches.
Now I’m not going to talk about the weather as there were showers then the sun came out and it was hot again, good old Melbourne weather.
I noticed this one when it was published and I’m not sure why I have not found till now.
It was interesting driving around here as I have been up this way for over 30 years and boy has Craigieburn grown and changed over that time.
Great coords lead me to a nice quick find.
Thanks barramundi TFTC.

A very quick park and grab here today between the showers but in the wind.

I rolled out of bed this morning and there was already 3 new cache alerts on my phone. They had been out for an hour already so I had a shower assuming they were gone. The weather was miserable outside so I took another look and they were apparently still up for grabs.
Why not. I jumped in the car and after collecting the nearest cache, I decided to head out to Craigieburn to collect this one.
I was thankful for the miserable weather in the end as it meant GZ was completely muggle free. I would expect it would normally be full of children if not for the weather.
I spotted the cache quickly and opened the log to find a clean log. The weather must really have put people off this morning as this had been out for a few hours by now.
I put my name in the log and replaced the cache in its home. Now off to the final of the three to see if I could make it a hat trick.
Thanks baraamundi for adding a new piece to the game board.

On this cold and wet morning had to go to Craigieburn for a training course. Stopped by this new cache to add it to my collection. Missed first to find by 40 mins. Ah well another one to my collection TFTC
