After a beautiful walk through the rainforest I found this cache. But I didn't breng a pen, so I hope the photo is prove enough.
This one was a quick find. Thanks for the cache! After the find, we did the walk along the coast through the rain forest. It was beautiful but then the rain came back. Now I know why it is called rain forest
Found this one the way to our next stop - nice hide at a nice view (if it isn't raining...)My pen was tool enough - nicely done! Tftc!
Flew into Cairns for a few days of caching in FNQ. Lots of driving aiming for LGA's as well as getting a cache as north as we can in Cooktown. Had a great time, and appreciate the CO's placing these caches. Log found and cache found. TFTC

This jetty seemed eerily familiar as I pulled up. I most likely visited it on the same day I notified and replaced a cache container for the CO somewhere along this stretch. I musnt have been too switched on at the time but it was an easy find even it it took a little bit to retrieve pushed down deep in behind. In any case it has been found and signed this time around. Thanks for the cache in this beautiful part of the State. Thanks Fullboar> for placing this Traditional for our geocaching enjoyment
Our caravan trip up North of Queensland is coming to an end: Leaving Atherton Tablelands towards home, North of Brisbane. After spending yesterday at Paronella Park, we made this detour to refresh our memories. We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc Fullboar

Tftc. A great little spot. I was a little worried when I read I may need a tool, but I improvised and all was well. Log sheet is almost full.
Spoiler alert: photo of cache but not location.
Otis strikes again with a good find.
At first we could see no sign of it . . . but then we got a sign-al.

So many hiding spots for a micro. Luckily it was in the obvious spot so it ended up being a quick find TFTC
Anchored at Clump Point for a couple of days on our catamaran, Montage. On a gap year sailing cruise up the Qld coast - been 15 weeks so far since home (Eudlo, Sunshine Coast). After 2 rough nights without sleep at Dunk Island (wind & swell causing too much rolling) we came here for a rest. Now that the sun is out too thought we would go for a tour of the town. We got our bikes to shore at the new pontoon near the boat ramp and rode around to this jetty for a look. While J was reading the other sign, I found the cache using my sunglasses to access it.
The kids playing in the creek behind did not seem to notice me.
Tried out the jetty, then off to Mission Beach on our bikes for the day. We've visited several times by car, this is the first time by boat & bike.

On a morning out looking for cassowaries we stopped off to look for a cache instead- historically we are much better at cache spotting than cassowary spotting!
After poking this and that we stumbled into the right area and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for bringing us to this pretty spot.

Nice person left retreival tool for us. Was worried this would be closer to the road than it ended up being. No pen today (seems to actually be helping us find them ?) HNB
Went for a bike ride to do a walk up Bicton Hill lookout. On the way past gave it a miss as there were a few people around. But on our return the coast was clear so made a quick find.

Home in Cairns now for a couple of months after 10months tripping around Australia. Attended Qogm in Cunnamulla and mega in Townsville great trip. Did your Clump Point Jetty today. 17 July 2022 10:24 pm Tyfc Fullboar> total caches now 4875 .
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 95. Tully Day 9. I had left myself one day to explore the region so I headed out to the Mission beach area. I was rewarded with my first every wild adult Cassowary sighting. I managed a few caches and a nice walk on the beach. I also visited an amazing river on the flat area west of the highway. It is very interesting in amongst the cane fields.
I have had a few problems with jetty caches, but this one was placed in an area I was able to understand and find without any problems.
Thanks for the cache Fullboar>

We found this one as the rain got heavier and the visibility quite limited.
It was wet and blowy so we made this as quick as find as we could and signed the log in the car.
We then waited for the rain to lessen before replacing it.
Wow! That’s a lot of money for this jetty. Let’s hope it is cyclone proof.
Thanks Fullboar>

Our last day in Mission Beach so looked for the caches around here. The first rainforest section we stopped at a cassowary and her chick walked around less than 2 metres in front of us for about 10 mins. Things like this is what makes caching such a great pastime. (We didn’t find the cache!!! - but who cares!!).
$30 million - so this is where our hard earned taxes go!!!
Thanks Fullboar for the cache

Found at 11:05:00 AM(t) GAFF1.
We made a detour to visit Mission Beach which c-pprass has a soft spot for. Heading along the coast road we stopped to do this cache. Is this the Clump Point Jetty? Doesn't look to be worth $30m!!
Thanks Fullboar>.

After a weekend in Cairns picking up some high DT caches we had to stop by on the way home to collect this one.
It was published only a couple of days after our prior visit. Good to clear it off the map in my personal challenge of clearing 200km from home. 3 caches close to home on Tuesday should do that.
Thanks Fullboar> for creating and placing this for us to enjoy. Nice spot.
