Finished another long trip around Australia. The 6th. Finished trip to Townsville to grab the Palm Island LGA. Now only 2 LGAs to complete Australia.Firstly heading back south for some Canberra time.TFTC. The trip from Maryborough to Deception Bay was painful. So much traffic it was completely stopped many times. Still stopped for a few caches and an Ad Lab but had to be very careful to firstly figure out how to get back into the traffic easily. Traffic puzzle time.Off to the airport and then a bunch of urban challenge caches that were quite hard to get.Nice quick find.[sacada](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=sacada) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9DXE2/62034 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did."Find 9 different Terrain ratings (T1 - T5) on a Thursday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED

It took me 10 years of geocaching to sort this one out! Thursdays seen to be rather dull in wayn0's world haha Thanks for the cache and cool challenge Cheers
Found with Notquiteyet. I have walked past this one previously, as there was an out of service bus sitting right at gz with driver sitting watching the world go by. I remember a bison tub road side, I saw it but couldn't grab it.Today cache was higher and on the other side. Managed to retrieve without tweezers, but they may be of use to future finders.Do not qualify as yet. Thanks for the challenge though. Cheers

Spotted nice and quick, but due to tennis in progress didn't want to put the cache at rick. Will be back.

Visiting the area from Vancouver, Canada for a couple of days. Out today caching in the rain with alamogul and karba1. Posting a note for all challenge caches until I can take the time to verify if I qualify or notSigned the log Thanks for the challenge cache
Signed, will log when I check if I qualify. I'm out caching on this beautiful day while visiting your country. I am visiting from Rhode Island and traveling with a group of cachers from USA and Canada. We will be traveling to Brisbane, Sydney, and embarking on an NCL cruise to the South Pacific. Logs will be signed with our names or group name to saveroom on logs. SPCA24. Thank you to the COs who hide and maintain these caches. Everything below this line is for Project-GC log numbers. ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** I will be attending any nearby events to meet up with local cachers. I will be targeting gadget caches, which are always a fun challenge. Older caches and Virtuals aren't to be missed. Solved puzzles that I've spent many snowy days working on. Earthcaches are always worth the lessons learned. Challenge caches are some of my favorites even if I don't qualify yet... something to work towards. Webcams before they all disappear. High favorites are always worth the fun. Adventure Labs point out things I would usually just drive by without the work a CO puts into them. New counties, whenever possible, for some of those challenges I've already signed. Let's not forget towns for MA351 whenever in the area. I'm always on the lookout for large sized containers and caches for my Fizzy and Jasmer grids. Logs will be stamped with our caching names or initials to save room on logs. I don't always stamp in order, I will fill in spaces if there are any on the log. If answers are required, one of us will send them when we get home. Thank you to all of the COs for the time and dedication of hiding and maintaining these Geocaches for everyone to find! ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

Out and about early this morning to pick up a few caches that have been on my radar for awhileArrived at a safe place to park the car and then made my way to ground zero where. Quickly located the prize. After extracting the log I mad my mark and replaced the cache back in its hiding place. Returned to the car after being bitten by tonnes of mozzies.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.CheersFind 9 different Terrain ratings (T1 - T5) on a Thursday"T1.0 - 2009-11-12 GCPYH2 - Tower of PowerT1.5 - 2009-10-15 GC10DF6 - The End of the RoadT2.0 - 2009-11-12 GC18ZH9 - Magnetic MarjorieT2.5 - 2013-10-17 GC32TGW - Isa needs more caches #1 - Cardiac CacheT3.0 - 2015-08-20 GC5Z1H9 - The McHoots - YasminT3.5 - 2011-04-07 GC2PDDB - Stanley Park Perspectives: Burrard InletT4.0 - 2022-02-10 GC93ZR4 - Drum Beat #27T4.5 - 2024-02-08 GCAAF42 - Sunset/Sunrise series: Toomoog BeachT5.0 - 2022-09-22 GC82RVY - Difficulty / Terrain Matrix ChallengeQualifying 9 / 9, PASSED

Out and about recently with MeAndDe grabbing a few targets on the Northside. This was right next to one of them, and I qualify too! Just made sense to sign the log of course, and add another challenge to my collection
Out with AtTheLakeHouse grabbing a few target caches. Last time I was here there were people playing tennis nearby and I couldn't search discretely. Today the court was empty and we had no problems.I'll check to see if we qualify for this one at some point in the future.

After the event at the Chermside Library earlier tonight where it was nice to catch up with the CO of these challenge caches, The Green Geckos and Muggle65 graciously helped me getting around the area by giving me a lift to the wetlands and some more caches on their way home while we were listening to the German classics of Scooter and Rammstein! Sometimes a 20min drive quickly turns into a 2.5h hunt, especially when there are good D/T ratings on offer. By now I was able to collect all my priority caches and so I convinced them that I would be fine on my own from now on. Overall, I was able to get over 20 caches that night by sacrificing some sleep as I only was back at my hotel at 2AM! Priorities, sleeping I can back at home! So thank you very, very much for the company and enormous help finding numerous of my targeted caches tonight! It was simply a perfect night for some caching adventures on the well lit paths by the full moon. For this challenge I more than easily qualify since many years apparently:

As part of a short trip I am in Brisbane for a few days. During my previous trips down here I was able to make a big dent into my very long list of solved mysteries and caches of interest, such as oldies, caches that count towards my next matrix loop or caches that I could use for one or the other challenge. Though, the list that remained following my tips was still pretty extensive. Unfortunately, I am mostly limited to the night hours for caching this time around, so I focused on just a few caches that I could get quickly. So thank you very much georode for creating All Terrains on Thursday Challenge. It was fun getting it!

Another of the CO’s enjoyable challenges; this one I think I must have qualified for without even knowing it at the time.
The find (see cache note below) was interesting, mainly because of the TOTT that I used to get to the cache.
Curiously, the checker has selected some caches from my initial venture into caching, back in 2008. The T5 was a cache that I found/replaced with permission of the CO, in the Solomon Islands. I dived under a dock, where the cache was originally placed, but it had gone due to a Tsunami. Fast forward to October 2022 and I replaced the cache and was also FTF. Interesting story and interesting place for a cache.

Trying to think why I was over here on my own and remembered an idea I had to try and do a calendar of challenges. I'm thinking it may take a few years to accomplish at the rate I'm going! Pulled up here in daylight and hunted around avoiding a few passing muggles. Cache found, signed and returned. Adding my tick pic.TFTC

One of my geocaching resolutions for this year was to make more of an effort to qualify for a number of incomplete challenge caches. As it happened one of the unfulfilled challenges on my list involved finding other challenge caches in the month of July. I carefully prepared a to-do list of target caches for which I had already qualified, with plans to head out today to pick them off.As noted in previous logs, the blue lid is UV perished and the logbook exposed. At least the right-in-the-rain paper mean the logbook is still in okay condition and I could sign in my name.**QUALIFICATION:**[seffnjarah](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=seffnjarah) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9DXE2/62034 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did."Find 9 different Terrain ratings (T1 - T5) on a Thursday"T1.0 - 2013-07-25 GC2GVR5 - Welcome to MelbourneT1.5 - 2013-06-06 GC3JWHA - I'm Stumped DeerT2.0 - 2013-07-25 GC35X87 - Woodlands 30 - The Limb DropperT2.5 - 2013-07-25 GC361GZ - AROCNAPHOBIAT3.0 - 2013-11-14 GC445E4 - ZFPT12 - Flowing RiverT3.5 - 2014-02-20 GC4QVY1 - Cotton CreaturesT4.0 - 2015-01-01 GC2227 - All Day SuckerT4.5 - 2015-01-29 GC5J1EX - Takai ki ni - T5.0 - 2017-12-28 GC6NAJN - Crochet for BeginnersQualifying 9 / 9, PASSED
A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
Following my 4am wake-up to catch a 6am flight, the plan was to head north to find some challenges and other targeted caches.
Found the cache for this one but the cap has split and is deteriorating.
Qualify per below.

Arriving at GZ this afternoon, there was someone sitting in their car close by, as well as two men measuring and looking at the nearby courts. I spotted the cache, but apart from those two factors, I realised that I needed a TOTT.
Off I drove to the nearest hardware store, but they didn’t have anything to help me. So next stop was the Salvo’s Store. I purchased a plastic rubbish bin for $2, and then headed back to GZ.
Thankfully, by the time I got back, the muggles weren’t there, and using my new improvised TOTT, I was able to get the cache. Then back to the car for another TOTT to grab the log, signed and returned to it’s place. Thanks for the cache and the Challenge, georode. I’ll check the details another time.

**Ich bedanke mich bei georode für den Cache, das Zeigen dieses Ortes, das Legen und Pflegen der Dose und den Spaß beim Finden! Thanks for the cache!

With help of a couple of totts, retrieved cache and signed logbook. Now to see if I qualify.
I love Challenges ️
We were able to find the challenge cache and signed the logbook. I will check at home whether I am fulfilling the task and then log with all the necessary evidence.
Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explored the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos visited the koalas and continued north via Coober Pedy to Alice Springs. We hiked around the impressive Uluru and through the beautiful Kata Tjuta and breathtaking Kings Canyon. The gorges of the Macdonell-Ranges are nice too. We traveled north and than east to Townsville and Magnetic Island. From Airlie Beach we rafted to the Whitsunday Islands for snorkeling and swimming at Whitehaven Beach and took a seaplane to the Great Barrier Reef.
On the way south we visited the capricorn coast, Great Keppel Island, 1770, Bundaberg, Rainbow Beach, Noosa, Tamborine National Parc, Goldcoast and the mainland's easternmost point Cape Byron.
**Thanks for the cache!

Recently I have developed a love of finding challenges and then working my way towards these challenges. Heading north for the weekend and identified a few challenges that whilst I don’t qualify for currently, I can find and sign and then start to work towards.
This one was incredibly easy to find, and then very tricky to get out. Once the little container was finally retrieved, I was able to stamp the log and replace as found. Currently have 7 out of 9 for this challenge, so it’s within grasp.
Thanks for the challenge, I look forward to working towards it.

Thursday. Out with Ruzzelz. Luckily I had Ruzzelz with me! Oh my Kingdom for 2 inches! Quickly spotted, but I couldn’t reach it. Ruzzelz managed to make the grab for me and I signed the log. We qualify for this one, which I didn’t think we would. Today we were caching around Brisbane, mainly the northern suburbs and just targeting adventure labs, virtual's and earth caches as there seems to be an extraordinary amount of muggles around at the moment and of course picking up any others that we were close to that looked possible.
We both enjoy challenges as it gives you something of a personal challenge to work towards so when we saw this group of challenge caches last night near one of the adventure labs that we had targeted we were extremely surprised to find that we had qualified for all of them. One we walked away from because the terrain was too high and another we searched for but had no luck and a few were just too wet to get near but the rest we found and added our name to the log book..

Decided to head up to Sandgate & track down georode's latest offering in the AdLab stakes & to pick up a few Trads, solved puzzle caches &
challenges along the way that have been waiting far too long on our list.
We don't really chase Challenge caches but every so often we sort through them to see if we have 'accidentally' qualified for any new ones.
It seems we definitely have this one in the bag qualifying way back in 2015!
What better day to score a smilie for an All Terrains on Thursday Challenge than today ... a Thursday.
Nice sneaky cache placement, we like sneaky!
Made our mark & replaced as found.

With the weather today letting up and holding off with the rain, Fangsoki and I decided to target the challenge caches around Sandgate, most of which he had already grabbed previously however.
Parking the car, we made our way around the loop, with one or two requiring us to head back to later.
This one was easy to find, tho with my slightly shorter stature was a little bit of a stretch to reach and replace - keys made extraction easier, giving me a little height increase.

Out on the Northside grabbing some targetted caches to satisfy a Challenge I am working on. Came by this area to find these challenge caches.
Another cache that was just out of reach and nothing that I could use to grab it. Used nature's TOTT again to prise it out of its hide. SL but getting it back was tricky. Thought of many things I could have had to help me get it back. (blu-tack, sticky tape, gum, etc) but none on hand. But I did have something in my bag that was sticky and with some ingenuity, I managed to get it back into the hole. Win to me!
Patrol14 used project-gc to see if they qualify for this challenge and they do.

(My apologies, georode. I got mixed up on my map where the caches are - I'm trying to sort it out )
I moved onto this one next.
So I arrived at GZ and spotted the hide. I also spotted a gazillion people in view in the building next to GZ. Oh and look pizza has just arrived for them. They're not moving. I decided to move on.
I returned to GZ after doing some of the others and noted dwindling numbers. I came prepared this time. Quick smart I had the cache in hand and was signing the log. I popped the cache back and charged out of there.
Perhaps I just haven't picked the best time to do some of these caches today

Perhaps I just haven't picked the best time to do some of these caches today
Looks like I qualify for this Challenge. TFTC georode

In the area today with Green Team 2 picking up some caches and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and then all returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

I decided to take a bike ride out here to try and sign the log book for this cache that i do qualify for . This is my second time here and the first time there were tennis muggles nearby so i saw the cache but could not retrieve it. Today the coast was clear and i used my bike to help get up high enough to retrieve this cache . I often use my bike as a ladder .i went on a bit further to find another cache i qualify for under a bridge but there were cricket muggles there. It was a nice 22km ride today. Thank you for the challenge and for the fun hide.

Thanks georode for Unknown cache #700. Nice spot. Would never have looked there except for the hint. I’d probably have climbed every threes there. I would have made sure it was a Thursday though
