Had been recommissioning equipment in Opotiki and now retuning back to Auckland for the weekend. What should have been a 4.5 hour drive took somewhat longer.... one just HAS to Cache.Quick stop and easy find... no train to see today.TFTC
A quick find despite the barking dog across the road trying to put us off. All good with the cache. TFTC tryfyn.
Quick easy park and grab. The object holding this cache has certainly served its purpose judging by the number of impact marks.
SideTracked find 244The road guard has taken a dingle, but perhaps this in old news and you know this. The cache is okay though. It's great that there always seems to be parking. TFTC tryfyn.
An interesting spot to hide, would never have stopped here if not geocaching! Thanks for all the information!
Out and about on a warm autumn day aiming to complete our May challenge today.
All quiet at GZ apart from the barking dog nearby which set our three off in the back of the geomobile TFTC.

A nice quick find. Thanks for placing and maintaining your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Today we cruised from Whakatane to Cambridge.. The weather was fine and warm, and the Christmas traffic is stating to build!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

This bridge has sure seen better days! Lots of muggle traffic going over it today.
No problems making the find. Thanks for putting this cache here

Had to laugh at the last log when I saw the bridge, so many impacts can be seen in the concrete. Surprised some local entrepreneurial type person hasn't put up a banner or sign nearby offering repairs or cheap towage type services. Nice quick find here today, TFTC
Stopped for this one after a day's outing to Matata. Located the cache further down than Mr L was expecting, but all was good, and he replaced it as found. Thanks for the placement, much appreciated.
Relatively quick find though it had obviously moved a bit. Had a chat with a person from the local marae who was out for a stroll.
Spent the night at Pukehina and turned left instead of right to pick this one up. Yes it certainly is an interesting old bridge. Thanks for another one in the series. Happy New Year TFTC
Nice to come out and get some new smileys and points for the summit challenge. Doing the loop today taking in two great ALs. Had to stop for this on way home. All good here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Out and about tidying up a few caches in the area...man thus is one well used and beaten up bridgewith more than a handful of relic pieces laying around thanks Tryfyn for the placement..all good here until the next car takes out the barrier
We really did get sidetracked today. I had a meeting in Pongakawa this morning. Sidetracked to Matata for a pie then Edgecumbe for a coffee - oh maybe an Ad Lab. Back this way and I realised this was still unfound by us. We haven't been in caching mode for a while so I hadn't looked far afield. The bridge has certainly had a battering over time. Thanks for bringing us here tryfyn.
Heading up to the Coromandel for a few days. Good to have a few new caches along the way. Quick stop here. Reasonable amount of space to pull over and walk to GZ. Cache nicely hidden by the organic camouflage. Thanks tryfyn for the smiley.
Scary in a Motor home. Found it OK. Not to be put off by barking dogs.
Thanks Tryfyn

First find for the weekend, time to get some elevation on the mountains of the world challenge.
Quick find in an obvious spot, thanks.

Free afternoon & it's not raining.Know this area well as i spent a couple of years working here so ha d a bit of a look about whilst here.Cache didn't pose a problem, thankyou tryfyn, another interesting bit of history
With Squirrel Nutcase on our way over to Tauranga for the event we got Sidetracked onto a few caches on our way there and back to Rotorua. This cache took a little bit to find not where we expected it to be in the end Squirrel Nutcase spotted it on the ground we retrieved and returned to the hint description with our names on the logs. I can’t believe how many cars came across the tiny bridge while we were there no trains though.

With (Mr) Davidson clan… We’re on our way to the inaugural BoP Get Together event in Tauranga. Hopefully, these gatherings will become regular fixtures going forward.
We saw these additions to the Side Tracked series, but hadn’t opened the descriptions to read the notes… We wandered up and down the host object and couldn’t see nor feel anything cache-like. We backed away enough to spot the cache on the ground. While on site, a lot of traffic passed us by. This is a busy spot with a single lane bridge to squeeze through and probably requires some awareness. Thanks tryfyn and TFTC.

On our way to Te Puke and thought we would see if we were first to find, but no pipped to the post by Philip Perry, well done TFTC

I'd received a text asking if any of the new caches had been found yet.... 'What new caches?' I thought. I checked the map then gave Fap'n'Gap a call - after that it was all go. Got the boots on, grabbed the torches and arrived here for a straight forward find at an obvious location.
We managed to score the [FTF] here but with one more up for grabs there was no time to waste - "Back to the car!"
Cheers tryfyn, I'm enjoying your write ups and finding all your new caches. Cheers & TFTC
