It is just hanging around in good shape, waving to all of the traffic, Getting a heart as it is my 10th find for the day. Thanks for putting this buffalo out to be found.
**Found Monday 01-July-2024 at 13:39 Smiley #2367**Rogersclan Rapid Route to Raid the R(W)est (RRRRR Trip)Mrs Rogersclan went back home to America for a week leaving Mr Rogersclan home alone for a week. What a better way to spend the week rather then sitting at home lonely, but to head west and follow in the footsteps of QOGM at Cunnamulla. Found over 200 caches of varying sizes, types and D/T which was a lot of fun. Did as much cache maintenance as I could, replacing log bags, logs themselves and some containers with what I had onboard. Unfortunately I couldn't fix all of the broken containers but if everybody keeps their part of outback caching, things will right themselves.I apologise for the generic log, but it was just me finding and logging so the logs are very generic. I truly appreciate the effort the CO's have gone into for this hobby we call Geocaching. It is simply amazing, thank you to all.Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache **artesiancacher** Rogersclan13
After a couple of lovely days camping on Charlotte Plains station we headed out this morning. Luckily some of the caches along this road had already been saved in an off line list so I was able to find them. All that were attempted were found in good condition and now carry my signature. Thanks for your incredible efforts in placing these caches and organising QOGM. I was sorry to miss it.
There's the cutest little birds nest in the tree there. It was a good distraction for genghicat while i grabbed the cache. Found. Yaa. All in good condition. Tftc
Slowly meandering home after attending the Longreach QOGM. Grabbing anything along the way.Out with Di Morgan again but today grabbing a few around the area. Found after a short search once at GZ.Thanks for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Bollon to FallonAfter a wonderful night camped beside the river at Bollon we have now moved onto Fallon camped near the painted silo..Another day caching with Happy Feet caching along the highway after leaving CunnumullaThanks to all the CO for placing this cache.
We are heading up to Longreach for the last QOGM with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506 naturally stopping to grab any caches that come on the map aiming to get as many LGA's as we can.We all missed QOGM 2021 because of the dreaded Covid lockdowns so we were hoping to that as many as possible of the caches placed for it on this trip. At least while doing them it bought back memories of previous QOGM's and the fun we had and kept us looking forward to this years one even more.Again we can't remember every cache individually but we really do appreciate tour time effort and expense in setting up this trail for our enjoymentWe added our acronym to all the caches found. To save room in the log we signed PDGC (Papi Drove Geoturtle Crackers)Many thanks this cache to QOGM Placement Team 2021
Heading to Longreach for the last QOGM with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506.We stopped along the way to pick up a few caches and signed the log as PDGC.(Papi Drovers Geoturtle Crackers)Thanks to all the Co's for making this trip, more enjoyable. Signed and replaced as found.

Geoturtle37, The Drovers, Team Crackers and myself are heading to Cape York via the QOGM get together at Longreach. All caches found with no problems unless mentioned. We should also apologise for the generic logs but we did so many on a couple of the days that there was no time to write notes unless needed. We are most grateful to all those that have made these trails possible for us. Thank you.
Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.

No longer a bison but a small preform.
So many kangaroos and emus along this stretch of road.

We spent a couple of nights in sleepy Cunnamulla- the town was so quiet apart from the dozens of caravans leaving this morning! (We are not one of them). Heading to Goondawindi today.
Found as part of our 'north for warmer weather' trip from North East Victoria to Central Queensland, via Curtis Island! We have enjoyed the great variety of caches along the way. Thank you to all the COs who maintain them for us to enjoy.

After a few years break I am heading back to QOGM.
My driver very generously agreed to stop for a few caches. I was happy to not do everyone as well as I am in recovery mode.
Green and pretty out here this year. And the usual flies.
Skipping a couple of hides and we arrived here
Thank you for hiding and maintaining this geocache for the community.

Wow the edge of the road here is really soft! We can now see how water gets into these containers - the lid was barely on with just the top thread hanging on - and it was cross threaded!
Thanks artesiancacher.

Today we travelled from St George to Cunnamulla. The day weatherwise was excellent with no rain and we avoided having to step thru any water or mud to get to any of the caches we found. Thank you to CO for placement of these caches. TFTC
On our way from St George to Cunnamulla today and after a short stop at Bollon we soon came upon the series of caches that would take us to our next destination. We made a short detour onto the road where the Paroo Pictures are located.
All caches we fairly quick finds and in good condition - Thanks RoddyC. and the QOGM Team.

35 minutes later we arrived at cache two for Day 1 as we snuck our way towards Cunnamulla. Surprisingly for holidays the roads were empty and a fleet of cars was nowhere to be seen. Another straight forward find was made here. TFTC
Day 1 of a Cunnamulla roadtrip with Carø and Kestal. This was a travel day with the only goal being getting there...most of the drive out was wet but nearing Cunnamulla the clouds were clearing. Very soft edges here. TFTC QOGM Team.
Smooth sailing Westward with this being our 2nd cache for the day and a nice easy find to be had. Thanks for the cache, QOGM 2021 Placement Team!

We have been making our way to the QOGM event that is going to be held in September. We left home in May and have meandered our way around the country getting closer and closer to Charleville. We arrived in Cunnamulla this afternoon and once the caravan was set up we headed out to find some of the many caches that have been placed in the area by the QOGM team and many others.

While staying at Cunnamulla, today we decided to do the caches heading towards the eastern boundary of Paroo, a 300 km round trip, lunch on the way, road was wet but trying to dry up.
All caches were easy to find as the co-ords were spot on! Cache and contents were in very good condition.

Found during a road trip via Wentworth, Menindie Lakes, Wilcannia, Cobar, Bourke and Cunnamulla to Charleville and back over 10 days, camping out at some great spots along the way. Met up with e.gregory1 at Bourke and we spent the next four days caching around Cunnamulla and out to Eulo, Yowah and Charleville. At this point e.gregory1 headed north to attend the Townsville Mega event, while I camped out again at the Charlotte Plains Rest Area, providing the ideal launching pad to complete the caches along the Balonne Highway before retracing my tracks back to Cunnamulla and southwards towards home. Thanks for the cache artesiancacher!
Found by Mary and David at 10:08. Cunnamulla Day 1. We missed QOGM last year owing to border closures, so we have meny caches to find. Today we did the ones along the Balonne Highway, a couple of multis in town, and finished most of the Paroo Pictures trail. Our thanks to artesiancacher
The rain and storms at St George had been left behind and by the time we arrived here with ilook4geo it was once again sunny and hot. We enjoyed finding the various caches along this road and all the logs were signed before we headed off to the next cache on the list.

Today was my first event cache and it was held in the beautiful town of St. George. Up early and excited, I headed over to grab the nearby multi and then back to the start of the event, waiting for cachers to turn up and they did, luckily.
Now it is a drive into Cunnamulla to officially start my days of caching of the QOGM. Collecting caches along the road into Cunnamulla it was a beautiful drive in with a lot of greenery and then the red dirt started.
With a new stamper acquired for the QOGM event, I was excited to get my mark in as many caches as possible. We had some laughs along the way and started a game called name the carcass. Thank you for this trail and a good way to get out, stretch and break up the drive into town.

We found your cache **"Just Hanging Around Again"** today.
We have arrived in Cunnamulla prior to attending QOGM and had great fun today attempting the caches to the east, and also one of the jigsaw caches "Fat Fingered" in GSAK another day. Today's haul was 21 caches.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.

TFTC. We left Bollon this morning for a short drive to a truck stop about 120k from Cunnamulla. Where we were to meet Liz and Bruce to finish the journey to QOGM 21. We set up camp at the rest area and unhitched the car to do a run of caches about 40k further along the road. The car need a run. Along the way we continued caching.
On our way to QOGM2021, we were going to stop halfway between St George and Cunnamulla and do the hwy series, however on our last visit to Cunnamulla we had done a few from the Cunnamulla end. Mrs Snakepitters read the description again and indicated that all of the caches were caravan accessable, and they were. So off we set from St George and 145klm later our first cache was in hand, now we do the highway dance. Traffic was good as was the single / narrow parts that we were able to get through or off the road before any large trucks came through.
Caches all good and GZ spot on.

A travelling day today as we move from St George to Cunnumulla where we will spend a few days as our last caching hurrah before making the dash back to Victoria and lockdown.A beautiful sunny outback Queensland day, a good one for collecting a few caches on the way.
