Needing numbers for my next milestone, I met up with wayn0 to ride the Redlands trail. Spotted this one on approach. Tftc OddiewanFind #4877
My first bike was a 26 black model. It came up to Woomera from Adelaide on the tea n sugar train. Got it!Oddiewan
I was working in the neighbourhood so stop to find this one. I was needing 5 more caches in the Redlands LGA for a challenge. So I stop here to grab this cache. It was a quick find.
Oddiewan thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for the enjoyment of the Geocaching community.

Kids were scared of the spiderweb. Good cache. Medium size. Left a duck for the next
School holidays but I seem to have this pathway to myself …oops, spoke too soon. Muggles passed, cache replaced.
Thanks for this cache and info.
I lived in Nottingham (home of Raleigh bikes) for a few years!

Back out on this pathway grabbing the last few in this series. e-scooter makes it so much quicker than walking.

Quick find here today. Great collection of loot in here for the kids. TFTC TNLNSL. All is well here.
The wheel of challenge has set me on the desire of being sure to get 100 caches this month. I decided to use a part of the Redlands cycle way to get close to 20 caches today. So Mr 10 and I set off on our bikes.
Went too far off the path at first before being pulled back by something that looked constructed.
Moved aside the constructed thing and found the cache.

Walking along this path I started wondering whether I could make a career out of playing Candy Crush. When I was a kid, video games were simple and all you needed was four dollars of twenty cent pieces for an afternoon of fun. I’m clearly showing my age because what I call “video games” the kids of today just call “games”.
I think I’m on about level 1 million of Candy Crush. It’s just something to pass the time like sudoku is to the generation that missed “video games”. The games of today aren’t about shooting a centipede before it gets to the bottom of the screen, they are all about shooting other dudes made is pixels. Shout out to all the pixels lost in cyber space. tftc

Quick trip to the Redlands to visit some friends before Christmas. Spotted this trail so decided to find some caches along it before some lunch and last minute shopping. Will be back in the New Year to find some more. Nice hide, TFTC.
In the area and thought I’d knock off a few more of this excellent power trail…

All good here
Nice day for a ride after this mornings fog.
While we are in the area we have been doing a few bike trails , this one was a good workout, hides were all fun.
Few quite tricky ones to mix things up a bit

Today my muggle friend and i decided to take a walk along here and find some smileys. We do often ride our bikes together but decided to walk this one. We really enjoyed the 8.6km walk and finding these caches along the way. spotted the SPOS and then the cache. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Brisbane, we have now set up camp at Thornside for a few days. Visiting the area to catch up with family & also to do some caching.
We chose this biketrail as Bill loves to ride his bike while I walked a few.
Can't say this is an easy trail as there are many micros hanging in trees which took some time to spot. On the plus side the co-ords were good & some very helpful hints. The DT seemed to be low on this series.
Thankyou Oddiewan for placing this cache.

With this cache we have finally covered the board.

It has taken a few years but but feels good regardless
Due to hint this was an easy enough find. We scoured the area for the tell-tale sign and were quickly extracting and signing log.
Two more of this series to go.
Thanks Oddiewan.

Continuing our walk, we came upon this one quickly. It’s a bit breezy today and the casuarinas are singing around us.

Staying nearby and decided to walk this series. Quite a long way and some uphill. We enjoyed the ambience along the way and the variety of hides kept us challenged and entertained. Thanks Oddiewan fav point alloc
So many suspicious sticks! We almost gave up when geokid stumbled across it. Tftc
Today I decided to head out on 2 wheels and grab some caches. After a quick scan I spotted the tell tale sign of a cache. Tftc Oddiewan
I have never seen more piles of suspicious sticks at a GZ, luckily after a few digs we came across the right ones!
After joining an enthusiastic group of cyclists to explore the trails around the area this rainy morning, four of us continued on to find a few more, including this one. We enjoyed the variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward, and most were quick finds thanks to the many cachers that we ride with. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space.

Joined an enthusiastic group of cyclists to make the run through the trails here, stopping every so often to take a wander into the bush or ponder a structure. A great variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward. Thankful that many eyes made short work of the hunting in most instances and that the rain kindly stayed away. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space. TFTC Oddiewan
I ride Scribbly Gums usually every second month so I have been cruising ride past a few of these caches on a couple of occasions. With the New Year fast approaching I decided to test the water on whether a few like minded geocyclists would like to complete the trail.
Now the weather was not looking good but as the ride leader i was duty bound to turn up. Right on cue at the designated start time the rain cleared and a group of many set off to clear the Cycling trail to Redlands.
We set off from Scribbly Gums heading East and then back West to collect caches. After the final western Cycle trail cache four of us pushed on to seek additional caches.
ruzzelz raining (not) ride group all had a great morning on 2 wheels including a diversion to Alex Hill shops for a group session at the coffee shop.

This morning, I joined Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) with a morning of finding the *Cycling the Redlands* geocaches series. The rain had magically disappeared from the start of our ride, and it was an enjoyable group session. I then managed to target a few older geocaches in the area before heading home.
In the afternoon, jesswrigley and I headed out and took a walk along Enoggera Creek in The Gap, finding a few of the *On Your Bike* series frm #11 to #6. Again, the rain stayed away long enough to have a decent walk along this stretch whilst passing by many muggles similarly enjoying the afternoon.
Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) consisted of bedmakerTG, DisSister, eatmorchikin, JQTB, La Kedi, nikid1, TaxisVW and DrPam, and teamdfl, as well as our esteemed leader Ruzzelz. Meeting at Scribbly Gums, we rode to the eastern end of the trail, with the plan to ride west and collect the caches in the series. We took a coffee break in the middle of the series at the nearby Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre, as well as a few miscellaneous geocaches that we encountered along the way. In total, we rode an approximate distance of 20 km.
We stopped off at this geocache, and it wasn't too long until we managed to make the cache find quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and we signed as *RRG* / *RR* to preserve space in the logbook. Thanks Oddiewan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I do believe that my first ever bike was a Raleigh. It was blue, I was 6 years old and it was the start of a life long passion for cycling.
Found with a large group of crazy pedalers today. Logs all signed RRG for the group. I don't think I actually found any of the caches myself. I was close at a few, and added our team log to some. Many I did not get near as the group often made for quick finding.
Thanks for the series and the effort to put out so many caches.

A call was put out on Facebook to join up for a bike ride and do this series. Still with a few days of rec leave left I couldn’t refuse. There were familiar faces and a few new ones which is one of the reasons I like these type of events as you can never know too many cachers.
In all we did 20km of riding (we did have to detour off the track for a coffee break)
Logs signed as RRG to save on log space.
TFTC Oddiewan for putting out this series.

A great variety of hides in the series, some very clever ideas among them.
Thanks Oddiewan for the great series.

A morning of caching with willis007 and a day for a leisurely Sunday bike ride. A ride from Capalaba to Cleveland enjoying the recent trail of caches on the bikeway. A nice variety of caches, some very tricky hides and some not so hard. It was a fun morning and by the end of the trail, we were done. We were planning on another ride further afield, but we were feeling a little lethargic from the heat and the humidity and called it a day. We still managed to grab a couple of the older caches in the area on our around and towards home. We were happy with our haul today, we got to take it easy and enjoy the caches and the surrounds.
This was the next in the run of caches along this trail. This one had us all over the place, we were getting a lot of bounce. A read of the hint and we still had issues so many spots. Ahh but that’s just how it goes, we walked past it several times, lol. Thanks for the hide and with the log signed and cache replaced as found, it was onto the next one.

After reading the clue, I was bewildered by the plethora of SPOSs. Once I ignored my GPS, which was bouncing around all over the place, and used my eyes, I found the right spot. Everything is in very good order here. Logbook is nice and dry and the container has been tucked up safely. TFTC and for the very pleasant walk in the bush.

Back to tackle some more of the Cycling the Redlands series but once again we forgot to organise any 'cycles!
Nevermind we are enjoying the walking, great exercise!
Of course, once again I chose the incorrect spot while Mrs VC nailed the find.
Quickest find so far methinks? [?]
Met a lovely lady walking her dogs and had a bit of a chat before moving on.
So much more pleasant than our dodgy encounter with Swivelneck.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

I have never cycled in my life and I would not know a crankarm from a fork so I will be doing the series using Shanks Pony ( I know how to control that). and the air conditioned comfort of the geomobile.
Found it easily and then I took advantage of the nearby seat to rest while I signed the log. I decided to turn around here and walk back to the car and relocate it closer to the next group of the series. I picked up my hiking pole at Santa Cruz on the way.

We decided to go for a cycle today before it gets too hot - our first fail. Loved doing this trail in our old stomping grounds. The co- ords were all spot on and some great caches. Thanks Oddiewan for setting up this trail and for the fab caches.
Found the SPOS after a bit of a search.

I noticed these new caches yesterday afternoon and assumed they’d be found before now. But when I woke up and saw that they hadn’t been found, I decided to head over for a bike ride before work.
I wandered around for a bit before I spotted the SPOR. Thanks for the cache
