It was time to head cross country and walk towards this cache. At GZ I did take the time to look around and if it wasn't for the helicopter flying over the beach, there was not a soul to be seen. There was a good number of roos though! A nice quick find at GZ. TFTC painxiety

I didn’t think I’d be back in Aldinga so soon, but I damaged a cache on Monday and have returned today to make amends. There is a nice selection of caches around here, and I still have plenty to find. This was one of eight caches found after that chore was completed.

At the time of making the find here, I hadn’t seen a single roo, although there is plenty of evidence that they’ve been around. A few of them revealed themselves as I was leaving the scrub.

Thanks for the cache painxiety.

This week only two Befuddled Puzzlers headed southwards once again to the Aldinga area find solved puzzle caches and anything else that we hadn't got whilst passing. Razz Today's it was just me and Blackadders. Cool We also manage a couple of Lab cache series and one took us to an Aldinga Bakery which is where we ended up having lunch. Cool Unfortunately a lot of caches were either missing or in need of maintenance. Twisted We did what we could but it looks like we will have to come back again soon. Cool

I wonder how this cache got its name - NOT. Surprised We had to skirt around a mob of at least 100 roos that stood and lay between us and the cache. [:(!] The ones standing were also staring at us and the big males didn't look happy with us for intruding on their haven. Surprised So around we went and soon got to GZ where we made a quick find. Smile Now for another go around to get to the next cache. Wink

***Thanks painxiety for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

A Tuesday trek with the Starfish focusing on the Aldinga area and surrounds seeking more of the many hides in the area trying to clear out all the yet to find for us.

All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.

A nice reserve and haven for the Roos. Making our way to GZ we were confronted with many locals watching our moves closely. Giving then a wide berth to leave the to thier business we arrived at GZ to make the quick find, sign and replaced as found.

Thank you for the cache painxiety Find Number 10031 on 13/09/2022

Parked up and made the walk in to this one, this cache was easily found and is all good

Today I headed down south to Mclarenvale/Wilunga/Aldinga to find some of the new caches published in the last 6 months plus a few others along the way, total of 58 for the afternoon.

Thanks for the cache

No roos today. A lot of birds.

I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Went for a walk, found some cache.
Spent most of the time in here, off track.
A quick find, after finally going cross country rather than bush bashing like between the others...
A few roos seen too.

Wowser this is truly a Roo Haven!
Had a bit of time before we met up with the dog breeder for a pup catch up at Silver Sands and thought this was a good opportunity to grab the cache here, nice afternoon and we had the place to ourselves, well except for a pile of kamgaroos lounging around in the sun scratching their furry bellies.
We havent walked into this area before but it was a nice walk and the roos keep the grass nice and short so we could see where we were treading, people have already started sighting the darn snakes, yuk!
Brilliant decoration on the cache, clearly good quality glue.
Thanks painxiety for another cache, makes two of this CO on two consecutive days. Signed the log and replaced as found. TNLN

Another drive down to Aldinga and Willunga was due after a few new caches have popped up and as I wasn't doing much today I decided today would be the day. [^]

I had a nice drive and a couple of nice walks and even though it was grey and overcast it was still a good caching day and I found all the caches I looked for. Big Grin

Parked in a familiar spot then went for a nice walk. I spotted what I thought was going to be the hide as soon as I came out into the open. While I was walking towards GZ the kangaroos started watching me, but they weren't too bothered and then just continued eating. The cache was quickly found right where I thought it would be. Cool

Thanks for the cache painxiety. Smile

Another lovely day for a drive with Purrfect Di ! Nice views and caches...

Most were easy to locate today and in good condition.

Just before sunset and hundreds of roos were around to greet us as we found your cache. Smile
A wonderful spot for them - such a pity the housing nearby has taken over most of their land. Twisted

Many thanks to painxiety for hiding this cache on our SA geo map game board Smile

We gave it a fav for the nice location, and for organising all the roos to welcome us! Razz

Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck! Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]

Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on Big Grin

We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting Cool

CPwanderer and I choose a nice, sunny day to do some caching at Aldinga and Willunga.
We had a few caches to complete around the Aldinga Scrub.
My first thought in seeing what I thought was a few kangaroos,
was that they were quite close. As we stepped further into the open space, there were clearly more than I had expected, and they didn't seem too worried to see us creeping through their territory either.
We found the cache easily enough, kinda where I thought it would be.
Thanks for the great kangaroo spotting opportunity & the cache a favourite Smile

The was a massive mob of roos there today. The 3 of us didn't even see one of them budge as we got closer. I guess they figured they out numbered us anyway. What could we do? Just hide beind the hide?

Thanks to painxiety and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
