Find number 14417 at 3:34:24pm on Tuesday the 8 October 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we have been busy doing the Tin Horse Highway, grabbing as many caches as we can and also photographing all the horses, they are simply amazing!**Thanks for placing this cache burns345**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 27 - Kulin Day. I spent a full in and around Kulin as there was so much more to see and do. In the morning I headed back East and finished of the Tin Horse trail in that direction, much easier being on the correct side of the road without the van. I then ventured back into town to do the Labs and have morning tea. As I had accidentally hit the day the Butler Museum was open, I had a great hour with a very informative guide looking over some of the equipment onsite, both restored and not. Don't mention the sheep trade.... After that I went to the Northwest to the second Tin Horse trail. Not as much art, but some still very impressive pieces and plenty of caches. The afternoon was spent catching up on online duties before heading back into town for dinner at the not a pub 'hub' in the old pub that is really a pub.Nearly every cache today was a simple roadside cache, near in celebration of a Tin horse artwork. The puzzles were all solved before heading west and some were really difficult, and I think there area a few I never got to. Thanks for the cache burns34546953.36 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2015 7 Souvenirs A#316**Albida**

Visiting from Brisbane , my husband and muggle friends are staying at Mandurah and i had the Tin Horse on my to do list. We left at 7.30 and had such a fun time seeing a lot of the TIn horses and also finding a few caches along the way. I would never have known about this place if not for geocaching. Thank you burns345 for all the fun we had today
Day two of our Kulin series. Did the puzzles a while ago. About time we got them. Thanks

Came to Kulin for the weekend after solving all these great puzzles! We had a fun weekend adding smileys to our tally! The Tin Horse Highway is a sight to see!
Thank you burns345 for placing and maintaining Kulin # 57 - Tin Horse Highway No 2 for us and others to find and enjoy!
All is well with this cache, quick find, nice easy finds! As with all of these the long grass was a worry in this season so pazza did most of the finding while saz shouted out great advice! (from the safety of the car!)

pug002 found it 9/8/22 on our trip with geo pug puppy. tried to get up north and caravan parks all full up with Eastern Staters, so after having a few days in Kalbarri decided that as there had been more caches put out in Kulin it as time to come again as we enjoyed it so much. Caravan park is so lovely and Trish is a lovely lady to deal with. It was nice catching up with you last time burns345. TFTC and your efforts again.

The fifth and final day of our Easter holiday break for TaurusSix and myself. We have had a wonderful time exploring the south east regional interior areas of WA, so much to see and of course much geocaching to be done. We have revised our plans for the day, today , once again around geocaching. Given there is a FTF cache to be had in the Kulin area we are going to head back in that direction and try our luck first thing heading from the Lake Grace area. And anyway there are still lots more caches in that area for us to obtain, so we are happy to head in that direction. Then at some point we will start meandering back to Bunbury again via many roads less travelled.
This is our ninth cache find of the day, and very happy to be undertaking this last stretch of the Tin Horse Hwy no 2 We passed through this area on Thursday but we’re running short on time so skipped a few of the local caches. Today given we have headed back this way to collect a FTF is the perfect time to clear up many of the remaining caches in the area. It’s a beautiful morning for it. TFTC

On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. Re-visiting beautiful Kulin. We were here almost a year ago completing the THH. It’s always a friendly little town and a great caravan park. Spent a few days here finding all the many new caches that were placed in the last year. Thought we would need a week, but we managed them all in two days. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing the many varied cache containers and for all the puzzles to solve. We really enjoyed all the finds.
Find 69 of 82 with 3 DNFs on a full day of caching in Harrismith and around Kulin.
Mrs O took this section, all good apart from #59.

I’ve set myself the goal of getting to 1000 finds for the calendar year and with the kids still in school for a day I hatched a plan with SirFancy to head out to Kulin and clean up all the caches released over the IGD weekend a few months back.
We grabbed a few caches along the way in Wandering, Cuballing and Wickepin before arriving in Kulin for lunch.
After a short break we grabbed all the THH#2 caches and finished up ducking down to Dudinin.
Day one finishing up with 64 finds and 0 DNF’s.

Myself and Cirrus_WA decide to head out to kulin for two days of caching. We started with collecting some in Wandering, Cuballing and Wickepin. Next we got some caches we missed from when we were out here for IGD, we picked up a few caches and managed to finish the Tin Horse Hwy.
Tomorrow we are heading out early while it’s nice and cool for the IGD series, have breakfast and then plan the trip home seeing what caches and LGA’s are on the way.
This is my 1075 find.
Thank you burns345 for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

After a restful night it was time to head this direction but first we had to head back to town to get tyre fixed.
The day was a tad warmer than I was expecting but I've been told I mustn't get a scratch on my leg so jeans and boots it was.
Thankfully all caches were easy to find tho weeds were annoying in some places but no reptiles were seen.
TFTC and an enjoyable day out. We always enjoy Kulin and will be back to do the others.

Hi there burns345. I went out with Lien (Lucky1268) today and while out we found this cache at about 02.55 pm after a short search - the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to burns345 for this cache - our find 9459 and the 17th of 36 finds for the day. FieldNotes:
Finally doing some more logging. Sorry for the delay. Who knew that finding the caches would be quicker than logging them! I didn’t keep notes so please ignore my generic logs. Thanks for this cache and the rest of the series.
P.S. I appreciated the numerical order to the finds….made it easier to track what was going on.

Met up with ullyssia at the IGD 2021 CITO event and teamed up for most of Saturday to find caches in and around Kulin. We started with the original Tin Horse Highway series East of town, then quickly solved the new THH puzzles and moved on to the solved locations and traditionals North of town - finishing them at dusk! All caches were quick finds and we came across many other teams enjoying a great IGD weekend in Kulin. On this section we also spotted some beautiful native orchids, perfect time of year to be here!
