Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in WA to visit family and work Grain Harvest. Mrs Felix was having a procedure at SJOG so what would Mr F do whilst waiting, oh go caching of course.TFTC PilotJen
Finally found it after the fourth go lol . Dont have pen. So pic for proof. TFTC.
Found it.I had time to spend after a coffee meeting on the city and I thought it was time to get some smileys on the map. Tftc.Coordinates are spot on.
Out with AB73 and Geodog Millie getting a few caches today. TFTC Nearly gave up on this one
Had a brief look, and couldn't find it. Unless it's near the bins, but we did not want to go sniffing around there
Thanks @PilotJen for placing My Favourite Chemist for the GC community to find !!
Great HideThanks PilotJen for the cacheJames0116Thursday30 May 20245:43:33PM AWST4626Please ignore the below unless you want to read a big rant about nanosOh, nano caches, you little perplexing creatures! How you manage to frustrate and challenge me at every turn is truly a marvel. I find myself both enamored and exasperated by your minuscule presence in the geocaching world. Your diminutive size may be your claim to fame, but its also the cause of my never-ending struggle to locate and conquer your hidden domains.Lets delve into the realm of your size, shall we? Nano caches, youre like the David of the geocaching universe, defying all odds with your small stature. But heres the thing: David had a giant to defeat, while you, nano caches, are the giants in disguise. You pack an incredible punch with your infinitesimal dimensions, testing the limits of my observation skills and pushing me to question the very nature of reality. How can something so small be so devilishly difficult to find? Its a perplexing paradox that keeps me coming back for more, even as I grumble in frustration.Ah, and lets not forget about your crafty hiding spots. Nano caches, youre the masters of disguise, the Houdinis of the geocaching world. You can be tucked away in the tiniest crevices, camouflaged amidst the natural environment, or cleverly concealed within everyday objects. Ive spent countless hours searching for you, only to realize that you were nestled right under my nose the entire time. Its a testament to your cunning and my occasional lack of perception. But dont worry, nano caches, Im determined to improve my geocaching detective skills and conquer your hidden lairs once and for all! Now, lets talk about the logbooksor should I say, the almost non-existent log snippets. Nano caches, youre not known for your spacious accommodations. Instead, you offer a mere fragment of paper, a token space for geocachers to leave their mark. Its like trying to squeeze an epic tale into a tweet, a monumental challenge in brevity. But hey, maybe thats the beauty of itforcing us to distill our geocaching experiences into concise snippets, like haikus of adventure. And lets not overlook the fragility of your petite existence. Nano caches, youre delicate creatures, delicate like a delicate thing delicately balanced on a delicate tightrope. Okay, maybe thats a bit too delicate, but you get the idea. Handling you requires the utmost care and precision, as one clumsy moment could result in irreversible damage. Its a dance of finesse, a delicate ballet between geocacher and cache, where even the slightest misstep could shatter the delicate equilibrium. So, dear nano caches, you perplexing enigmas, I both curse and embrace your existence. You challenge my skills, test my determination, and occasionally make me question my sanity. But amidst the frustration, theres an undeniable thrill, a sense of accomplishment when I finally conquer your microscopic challenges. So, heres to you, nano caches, for keeping geocaching interesting, for reminding us that adventure comes in all sizes, and for pushing us to explore the vast and tiny corners of the world.Thank you, PilotJen, for the cache that sparked this rant. Your nano cache has ignited a flame within me, a desire to conquer the tiny kingdoms and unravel their mysteries. I appreciate the effort you put into creating an experience that simultaneously frustrates and delights. And to all the geocachers out there, whether you love or loathe the nano caches, remember that its the diversity of caches that keeps our geocaching journeys exciting and unpredictable.
The last finder must have had problems rolling up the cache log. Hint. Roll the log tight then put it into the lid. Then screw the lid onto the barrel. Easy peasy it will all fit together. As luck would have it a truck was marked near the cache and the driver was on his phone the whole time. He was too busy to even notice us.Thanks for the cache as always we appreciate that you placed it for everyone to find.
Popped by the shops for a drink and grabbed this one on the way out. Full car park up top so lots of people nearby. TFTC
Was heading to Subi to meet friends for coffee so took the opportunity to pick up a few unfound caches while in the area. Seems to be everyone's favourite chemist as it was very busy around here today. As is often the case though, folk were lost in a world of their own so was easy to wander up to GZ and make a fast find. No problems here today - TFTC
A very quick and easy find Mrs Riddell spent more time rolling the log than all the rest of it.TFTC
Bloody nano, they seem to love nanos here. Ask freddo he loves nanos In Perth for a night for work so decided to catch the train out to Cottesloe beach and complete the virtual before stopping off at 2 stops on the way back to the city to collect a few more LGAs in WA.Thanks for the cache
Found amongst the bin chickens (Australian for white ibis) whilst waiting to meet friends at Fugu8 for dinner (do recommend for southeast Asian food!)
Had lunch nearby before coming here. It was a quick find. It took longer to remove the log with my TOTT. Thanks for spreading caching sunshine in this area.
Joined ICNothing, Cirrus_WA and SirFancy for a night of caching in the rain.
Quick find here despite being observed by a muggle in his car.

This is my 4940 find.
Thank you PilotJen for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
Sir Fancy, I CNothing, and Cirrus_wa (SIC) out for another Tuesday night caching adventure. Found easily and in good condition.
Had an idea of where the cache souls be and let the fingers do the walking pulling the container out after a couple of minutes.

This evening SirFancy, I C Nothing & I ventured towards the city to see if we could avoid the front coming through, it worked for a little bit while we were in the Vic Park area however it didn’t last forever.
Monkeywand joined us for a couple of finds In Subiaco before we decided to call it a night.
On a damp evening I collected 3 finds and 1 DNF.

Not so easy. Currently doing a challenge in which I try walking backwards for a week so walked backwards to this one. Number 816 for me.
Dropped my car off for a service in Osborne park and decided to make the 12km walk home via some caches. No probs here
Had a good look. Didn’t feel great sniffing around the bins though.
If it’s here, it’s in a place I didn’t want to explore.

While caring for my mother in West Leederville, I sought out this geocache while on my morning walk. This cache was a straightforward find, being in a spot obvious to geocachers, within a few metres of the coordinates. I was relieved that at this early hour, there were few people about. Thank you Pilotjen for installing and maintaining this cache.
The original cache is still where it should be. Pathtag inside it for the next finder.
First attempt at a geocache, but difficult for a complete newbie without attracting attention! May have to come back in the dead of night!
We got one!!! Nice easy cache, as long as you can avoid the muggles. We chose not to keep the token, and leave it for the next person. Thank you for the reflective cache!
Find 5 of 5 (plus 5 ad labs) with no DNFs on a milestone day.
I should really have left Mr O to find this cache and he could have told you his favourite chemist was me (I hope) but he couldn't make it today so I'll have to blow my own pharmacist's trumpet. Milestone caches are always those you remember so this one was quite apt for me and a bonus prize too! Thanks for the cache and pathtag Pilotjen.

I was sitting in this favourite chemist waiting to get my flu jab when I spotted the CO’s husband. Texted the CO and she brought the cache to me! Talk about service! Good to catch up with you both! Cheers PilotJen!
10 for 11 is my final tally for the day. A delicious pizza and a glass of wine awaited me at Siena's afterward. A great day it was at both Swanbourne and Cottesloe. TFTC
After visits the eye tests and detour, found and signed the log as EV. Thanks for the cache and hunt
Heading back to the area for a nearby appointment, so I thought I would try my luck and cross my fingers for some more smiley faces in the area . Only 1 DNF, so I guess that’s not to bad . Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for others to find , tftc
Amazing hide one of my favourites, a bit awkward looking around the metal bar but it was worth it. Make sure you look carefully all around the bar. Easy ty for the cache.
Out and about attending to some chores and picking up caches as we drove passed. TFTC.
My jaunt today took me to the northern suburbs - or northern outskirts of Perth.
Found a variety of hides on my journey.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches.

After a few DNFs this morning I was pleased to find this cache. Thanks for the hide.
Out for a morning run into an area I don't often get to. My GPS died so I looked up the location on my phone and headed off. When I reached the railway line I realised I had gone to far so I turned and headed back.
When I arrived at GZ I checked the usual spot but it was empty so I started to look elsewhere. After a couple of minutes I happened to be on the right angle and spotted it.

A quick park and grab here. Though I did park in the loading bay (lucky it WAS quick!). TFTC
Work isn’t too far from this location so I did a quick detour after work to log this find. I’m surprised that you’re permitted to advertise a commercial entity in this way. I once tried to publish a listing with the words, “I discovered this location since we often walk past on the way to one of our favourite coffee shops” and it got rejected even though the said cache location was a kilometre from the said favourite of many coffee shops. Anyway, one thing I’ve learnt is nothing is a precedent for anything else in caching….it’s a reviewer favourite response. Thanks for a quick, routine find for me this afternoon.
Thanks PilotJen for placing a cache at a location I visit rather often.
Im a regular to the upstairs car park.

Stopped into the office today and made a quick find here.
Thanks PilotJen for the hide. Good to see some new central Perth hides.

Found my wife’s cache. I have been looking at the cache in our home for years. Great coords ️
It had to be a female with this type of cache. <3 I have thought bout using the same sort of container and wondered why others had not done the same. Well done, and thank you for validating the inspiration
