Found with LittleBoss2 as we headed down to Shepp for the day. Parked the car on the opposite side of the gulley and decided to do this little circuit on foot. Quick find here, thanks Craig
Found with Bogonghazy whilst spending a week away in the area. Thanks The blind side for placing the geocache
Our first Shepparton cache...visiting from north of coffs harbour...looking forward to this trail...thankyou
Out exploring the area and enjoying a walk along the river. Totally amazed by the evidence of how high the flood must have been.
After the Tatura event, I took the deadly treadly to The Flats in Shepparton-Mooroopna.I had ridden some of these when they first came out, but had not come back for the newer ones.Today was the day. A lovely mild day for a ride. All the tracks and trails were dry, although the thistles were head high.I initially park the car near Little and Cemetery Roads intersection and unloaded the bike.I ride clockwise around to #47, then went back to the car for lunch. In the afternoon I moved down to the other end of Cemetery Road to try the eastern caches.A lot of walking to get to some of the caches. Thanks for this series, Robmc.
10:45A couple of days in Shepparton, gave the caravan a run & put us close to the Central Victorian Annual Get Together on Thursday. We spent a couple of days searching for the hidden Moor-Shepp gems, mostly by bike & we will return for those we missed, perhaps the water will be gone. It was good to find those with fresh logs this time.A BIG thank you to the CO who placed this series of caches.36881
A trip to Shepparton for some retail therapy, lunch and then a bit of caching in this area. The floods have certainly changed the landscape and made the tracks harder to follow. We decided walking was the best mode of transport and after a DNF at our first cache we continued on to this one. Success this time and SL at 2.03pm Left: eagle pathtag #10,813 TFTC The Blind Side
Hoping to knock over the rest of this series before Easter, so I can focus on other caches.
On my way to 300 before we set off road tripping. Number 277 for me.
Out bush with my geopup. Kangaroos, muddy puddles, such fun!
What a glorious day to be geocaching!
Don't think you wrote the cache name on the new log book?! Must just be too busy.
Realised that i had P/T interviews and had to race home.

Also first to sign your replaced cache.

Original hide swept away in recent floods. Replacement cache placed in new hide. Good to go.
Will need to find a new hide for this cache as log has moved due to flood waters. Hoping to replace by Jan 31.
With the floodwaters between Shepparton and Mooroopna beginning to recede I expect most if not all of the Moor-Shepp Hidden Gem Series caches to either be washed away or full of water so I am disabling all until I've had the opportunity to inspect and replace. This may take some months as the area is still not accessible and there are 48 to check.
Have a 50th Birthday in Shepp so decided to make a weekend o it and grab some caches. The wetness of the day didn't stop us from finding this one although our feet are starting to get a bit wet. TFTC
This is my 2nd bite at this "Moor-Shepp Hidden Gem" Series during my stay at Shepparton with a Life-Long Bestie for about 6 weeks. 17 hides added to my grab in a planned loop, today
The day was still and cool not icy and windy
I love this tree-forest walk as it is a pleasant way to build up my daily step-count with no Muggles to be a hinderance, if you don't count the birds
I started at M-SHG #27 through to #39 then across to #23 - #26.
Pls note: all caches were in good condition and their log books were dry
Cache #26 was found and logged at 12:34 on Thursday the 28th of July 2022.

(My next attack on this series will be the last as i plan to get all the rest )

Headed out to do some geocaching after dropping geoboy @pokemon card game in shepparton. This geomum is on here own and I'm not complaining. Cache and log in good order. TFTC off to the next one. Trackable collected.
Hidden gem indeed! Awesome! Out and about on trusty treadles aka the MTB exploring the trails and the impressive river red gum forest. Chipping away at a few caches with each trip to Shep visiting daughter who now lives here. Trails in good nic given it’s winter. TFTC and the fun!
Bunadoorian and I were up at this area for a nearby CITO and had arrived early from Melbourne. We decided to go for a walk and find this one. Bunadoorian had found it out in the open so after signing the log replaced it where we believe it should have been. TFTC and for placing so many caches in this area - we will have to come back when we have more time - The Blind Side. It was nice to meet you at the CITO today - I enjoy putting faces to caching names. Find 5 for us today.
Grub62 and I were attending a CITO nearby and were a little early so we tried for this cache. As we approached GZ I noticed the cache lying on the ground. I have replaced it where I thought it should be. TFTC.
What else would you do on a wet cold winters day…geocache of course.
In Australia catching up with family and friends so thought I would grab a few caches whilst here.
Thought The Blind Side Shepp to Mooroopna series looked like a bit of fun.
First find for the day. I think I scared the bird life with my excitement
Great hide TBS

Nice work with this hide I was looking in the wrong spot but found it in the end. TFTC
Staying overnight with a friend in Shepparton but it seemed a good idea to visit this area beforehand. Drove in via Little Road and then walked as I wasn’t too sure if the road conditions with the recent rains. On foot it was easy to dodge the puddles and savour the scenery. All caches were easily found Will give this one a FP TFTC The Blind Side
Thanks Blind Side, another Mothers Day present from my son. Luckily we were early for our luncheon and you earn another favourite point from me for such a simple, but very effective, hide.
I love your ingenuity.
Thanks for providing me with local hides to do on the odd occasion.
When I started caching in my enthusiasm I cleaned out the whole area and left nothing.
Since you placed this series I have selectively found the odd one and have shown great restraint. There are still plenty more to find in the future and I’m very grateful for that.

After attending the event at the Royal Mail 2night, I needed 2 log a cache 2day 2 receive another souvenir apparently, so I cherry picked this one of the series. Once at gz, found the clever cache. TFTC The Blind Side

We were in the Shepparton area today, spending quality caching time with Liz & Bruce and Hans & Linda. This area has changed a lot since we were last in the area, a lot rougher indeed. SL TFTC
TFTC. We are staying on the are for a few days prior to the mega in Wangaratta. Teaming up with Liz and Bruce and muff1 we spent the day exploring around the area caching as we went.
We stayed flexible with our caching plans. We headed down to the flats to,try our luck we were driving. Parts of the track were ok but some were not passable in the car. We did what we could without damaging anything.

Thanks for arranging and hiding. We are enjoying exploring the area and completing the series.
#4761 A quick trip across to Shepp today to walk a few more of this series with the geohounds. We managed 10 finds and 6kms exercise before pulling the pin due to heat and hunger.
Our first find made just made prior to 11:30am. A good way to hide the cache safely here and well away from any muggle eyes. Nice one. TFTC The Blind Side.

A nice quick find as we make our way towards the FTF‘s for the day thanks to the Blind Side for adding this to the game board.
What a cracker. Thank you again The Blind Side for continuing to provide us local's with caches close to home that we can search for without travelling too far in these uncertain times. I particularly like the variety and mix of hides, in a limited area for choice. We being dalerious and I, had a chance to come out today a bag a few more, leaving some for 'ron. All caches found in good condition. Keep them coming
Oh look! .... New toys!
OK, so we were no longer in the hunt for FTF (we were way too comfy at home the nights they came out), but with a bit of time to kill between jobs this evening, they were the perfect distraction.
Catnap777 and I grabbed 5 of the CO's latest instalments leaving just a few for a rainy day.
Although...... they do seem a lot easier to get to when it is not quite so rainy. [xx(]
TFTC and series The Blind Side, all found so far have been in perfect condition. [^]

About to do some cooking when the phone pinged: just another lot of new caches, I thought!
Probably in SA, I thought!
Imagine my surprise when there was 4 caches nearby[^]
Rex and I headed straight out in the trusty Corolla[^]
Into the rapidly darkening evening, into the muddy and churned up forest, into the quietness of a cold winter's night[^], into a night with visible stars, into a 3 hour tour!
The recent purchase of $20 Aldi rubber boots[:X] came in very handy[^] as there was mud, water, wet grass and even slippery slopes
We started at #27 and spent a looooong time there, eventually giving up and moving on to #26 which was found easily. The on to #25 by Shank's Pony[|)] which was another easy and quick find[^] Back to #27 which this time was spotted quickly (I finally used the right TOTTs[^]) and then another TOTT[^] allowed short arsed me to retrieve the cache and SL[^] Then another short walk in, through yet another wet creek, to #28 and we were finished[^][^]
Woohoo! *FTF*
