A wiggly stick gave us a bit of excitement as we were nearing this cache. We both went our own ways. Some interesting facts about pretzels Thanks for the cache
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Murray Bridge to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Bit chilly but not raining. Thanks CPwanderer
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip.We are staying in Murray Bridge for a few days and doing a bit of sightseeing around the area using geocaching as our guide. TFTC CPW.A special thank you must go to CPwanderer who has placed so many quality, hides along kilometres if walking tracks in this area.
Found it! Today after finishing work early I headed to Monarto to continue cleaning the sea of unfound caches in this area. This was number 3, the low density of the scrub in this park compared to others in the area really helps in picking a path to GZ. TFTC!
Found with shonkylogic while out and about geocaching for the day.TFTCCheers and Happy HuntingSouthern Cross Caching
Out for a wander with SXC finding a few caches here and there. Yum... Pretzels
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
Devilish
Brilliant and Clever
I like it
Another one off the list

I spent another enjoyable day roaming around the conservation parks surrounding Monarto.
I started with the Gourmet Geocaching trail, then some of the On Safari series, then some of the Walkies trail and then finally finished the day on the Getnict Park trail.
The mosquitoes were quite ferocious in the Walkies trail, so it was more of a run than a walk around to avoid getting eaten alive.
A very enjoyable morning. Lots of walking and lots of well maintained themed caches.
Thanks for the cache CPwanderer.

Today I needed to find five more caches to complete loop 11 for my calendar. [^] I had been saving close to home caches for just such a day. In fact I had even been to CP's event and totally ignored this series of caches. Having done a loop the other day when needed it was time to return to get another loop completed.
Crossing what was once a cropping paddock I had to deal with very high wild cereals that could be hiding anything. Tread heavily. Sucessfully across I came across the scrubland with little undergrowth where you could spot a stick that started wriggling from 10 metres away. Luckily none were spotted and I soon had this cache in hand. I guess it is a gourmet pretzel because it is in the shape of the Mercedes symbol! Opening the log book I found the last finders were not geocachers but bird watchers. Naomi and lee left the cache as found and I soon added my stamp after their entry.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks CPwanderer for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Mr & Mrs plus geodog Murphy (minus geokids) were able to escape into the caching world for the first time in months!
Lovely day for a bushwalk. TFTC CPW.

A day out with Featherwaite.
We went to Charlston and Monarto and picked up any others we came across.
We had a pleasant walk around the park picking up caches as we went.
All up probably took just a little over an hour.

Found with Team Waldron during a visit to Charleston Conservation Park, Kanmantoo and Monarto Woodlands. Thanks for the cache CPwanderer!
Got the munchies for a bit of geocaching today. Has been a while. Good to be out again. Cache and contents are all good-Thanks for the cache CP
Found with hevwalker and growing group. Headed off from event with hevwalker and Freddo to find the new caches in the area, I grabbed a couple extras along the way as I hadn't ever been here before....I will return to complete the rest at some stage. During the walk our group grew and then shrunk as we met up with others and then went on our own directions again. Great to catchup with everyone and enjoy the cache hunting. Glad we had wet weather gear on as when it rained it wasn't too inconvenient for us, as we stayed dry and warm. Thanks for the excerise and great caches CP.
Visited the area for the CO's event today...after signing the log, a hello to friends, grabbing a lamington & recieving my doggie bag gifts I headed off with scramping & freddo to grab the first few caches of the series...along the way we were joined by other cachers looking for the same smilies
Nicely themed set of caches...
Thanks CPwanderer for placing them

Went for a walk after I got CP's 2 cents worth and found a few more of these gourmet geocaches...

I am not all that fond of pretzels, but tend to think its mostly due to those I have had. Maybe a generous coating of chocolate might help.
Gourmet caching indeed. I usually bring quite a spread of food for a day out caching. Sometimes there is fruit left over, but its almost guaranteed the chocolate biscuits are all consumed. Today I did not bring the biscuits, and it was an 'all fruit' day. Thanks for the cache, another great placement in a great location. Thanks for the cache and ongoing maintenance.

One of quite a few found while taking a wander in CPwanderland before and after Cps weather challenged Two Cents Worth event.
Thanks to CPwanderer for putting out this cache for all to find.

An enjoyable trail of many bushcaches and dog friendly too - our favourite type of caching!
Cache 6 of a planned 13 today. No pretzels were eaten in the finding of this cache!

Pretzels don’t do it for me. But I believe this is my 13th and final Gourmet Geocache; I’ve enjoyed the walks and I think the series deserves a FP. Thanks CPwanderer!
After a drizzly start we headed off to attempt the Gourmet Geocaching series.
A nice walk around the woodlands with just two hares spotted. All caches in great condition and easily found.
Many thanks for another interesting series CPwanderer

Another Monday caching, starting at the woods. A nice walk today. Thanks CP.
After meeting CPW earlier in the day it was off for a wander around this feast of new caches.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

On the way home these new caches we decided to go for a walk around a loop, great ti find something different compared the earlier day stuff, all the caches were easily found and are all good
Today I headed to Murray bridge with Freddo to complete the two new series: south Australian river and the Australia peaks. Plus a few others in the area before going for a walk near Monarto to find a few of the new series.
All up 128 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

As she headed off towards Gourmet #1 Mrs Y'stassie checked her phone and noticed Gourmet 12 was closer but in another direction so she changed direction and was soon close to this hide. She stopped when she spotted a very large female kangaroo, with small joey peeping from her pouch, lying 20m in front of the hide. She headed away from the roo and approached the hide from behind. On retrieving the container from its snug nest she was delighted to find a blank log book - a rare {FTF} for us while on the road. Found at 11:15
Thanks for this cache in your Gourmet series CPWanderer. Pretzels from the bakery at Lobethal are one of the highlights of our visits to SA. Thanks also for the information about the origins of the Pretzel, very enlightening
