We are having an overnight at Maclean staying in the showgrounds.This is our last night on the road before returning to Port Macquarie.Today we are caching in the Maclean & Yamba area, there have been some amazing scenic views over the ocean while on our tour of the area.Thanks for placing this cache Baby Birt

With a challenge cache in Brisbane at the front of mind I headed south for the long weekend with a few very distinct goals in mind.Having fought my way through the traffic last night I pulled up stumps in Ballina and arose for the short hop to the target area this morning. After finding a safe spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero and quickly located the cache safely tucked away waiting to be found.Log signed and safely returned to its hiding place I returned to the car and made my way to the next adventure. A big thanks to the cache owner for Making this cache available to be found.Cheers

I always wanted to drive over this bridge. It looked so out of place from ‘Big river way’ during the highway upgrade. Just this giant random bridge in a paddock! Like always it all makes sense when they are finished. C#93

After a good day yesterday doing a leg of the Mushroom series, we only need 20 more to complete the April challenge. After a morning of watching the grand daughter playing netball, we set off for a loop around MacLean hoping that we don't have any DNF's as we need them all. I had a timeframe to be back by 3pm, Mrs Snakepitter needed to watch the NRL 'Canberra Raiders' play on the TV. I was only an hour late, thankfully we had the radio and Kayo on the phone.

Couldn’t continue on the road as we were going as it was flooded but came in off the main road,had to get it .TFTC

Mrs Herbz was in charge of navigation to this cache. She failed miserably as Mr Herbz, who was driving sailed past the end of the road. Fortunately she realise her mistake only 500 metres down the road so a quick turn-around had us heading back in the right direction. We pulled up and soon made the find. Tftc Baby Birt
