Unfortunately after 3 years and 72 visits, this is the end of the line for Apple Bobbing.
The cache is definately gone. There has been a bit of a clean up along this spot. It looks like poison on the grass and a lot of the ground cover has been cleaned up. In the process it looks like they cleaned up a lot of rubbish. We couldn't see a good spot to put another container at the location that would be safe enough. To give you an idea the view from the bike path to the beach is very clear now.
Sorry I have been away. I don't live near here (and planted it on holiday before the rules about such things were in place). Can someone who's already found it drop in and confirm that it is gone?
This one has obviously disappeared without the owner posting any notes or checking...lets archive it so it gets off the search list.
Came here just a couple of hours before having to go to the airport to catch a flight back to Scotland (or rather 3 flights!). My host happened to have his GPS loaded with the coordinates of the cache, which he had found around a year ago. Despite this past knowledge, and 3 of us searching for it, we had no luck, and therefore I am convinced that it must be gone. The cache needs to be archived.
I don't think this one is here anymore. There's signs of recent gardening as the mulch is still fairly new and someone has been building cubby houses quite close to GZ as well as digging a hole that looked like it contained a fire, and dead bush would make good fuel.
All that being said, this is the first time in 15 years I been in this area, I like what they've done. Might have to organise a family BBQ there as the kids play area looks great and before I left I paused for a while on one of those landings shaped like a front end of a boat jutting out over the scarp overlooking the river, what a peaceful vista.

This cache may be gone as it looks like somebody has taken up residence in the area and cleared a lot of the scrub
did not find this cache looked everywhere, we will have to come back some other time, hope the tide hasn't swept this one away

Found this one after I gave up on looking for Boat Yard Bliss (too many muggles around).
This area looked like it had been frequented by others. I thought I spotted a little nest where some young'uns might do their drinking. I dunno.
A few muggles around, walking or riding.

Coming from a customer, this cache and also Grandma's radio were very close by. So this meant a detour of course. Found it easy and was impressed by the view over Perth. But because everybody takes this picture, I add 2 birds that seem quite common for Australian people, but these seem very exotic for a guy from Holland.

I think this is a great place to visit and it is also close to another cache which is a bonus. Cache was a little exposed so did a small camouflage job on it. LN left a card.
Found easily by 8 yr old GeoHarps "Cache Queen". Beautiful day, great view and easy walk. Love this area, great for kids.
TNLN. Thanks for cache.

A good short walk from hunting octopii I was surprised that this hadn't been ratted out as it is obvious some kids have been spending some time very close by.
Well we came here to do Boat Yard Bliss then realised we could get down to the beach from that cache so we walked down to bag this one. There are superb views of CBD from here.

I found it after a bit of a search. In fact I was just about to give up and come back another time. It was well hidden. At least while resting during the search there was penty to see, river, yachts leaning into the wind, the Decoy Paddle Steamer steaming past and just a pleasant Sunday afternoon activity.
Took Sheep left Koala.

Mmm! Just love those smells!
Like Aushiker I found cache intact but alarmingly exposed.
Have left it where I found it but well covered (I hope).

Found it with Minibenkst. Smelly and prickly. Found the cache very exposed. Hopefully left more covered up now. TNLNSL. Thanks for the hunt.
Found it with Aushiker. Easy find. Thanks for hunt and ride along the river. TNLNSL.
Popped in on the way thru. Nice walk - a few bad smells about on the path - maybe some rotting blowies? Found quite easily. A lot of people about on the path on Sat morning.

Found easily after a quick lunchtime search with Dekra. My second attempt at this cache, last time I came in the dark without a torch and didn't even bother having a proper look.

Amongst all the bushes, you could almost convince yourself that you're on a desert island. Apart from being bitten by something on the shoulder while scavanging around with Skit, this was a rather fun location! TNLN, thanks for the walk! =)

Was a little wet when searching for this one so wasn't able to spend too much time here. But a lovely spot none the less. Did see an amazing sun set poke through the clouds though.

Guess its better hidden now as we couldn,t find it. Main problem being looking suspicious in front of the large number of riverside Sunday walkers. We'll try again on a week day.
Last one for the night. Lights in Perth just coming into effect. Great views. Hid the cache a bit more as it was a bit exposed!! Swapped a Monster for a ball
Decided to jump on the bike again for another ride around the river. Started out a very cold winter day but the rain stayed away, so I managed 5 caches by lunch time. TNLNSN
Found by Skippy&Lambchops @6pm in the dark with no torches.
Skippy took the low road which I followed, not good when you have high heeled shoes, forgot to put walking shoes in the hired car before I caught the bus to the office. Took TravelBug "ButtWhat??" Left Barbie Puzzle and Lamb.
Thanks Quasar

While in the area thought we would try to find this one....No luck - We will need to check the notes and try again.
This my third of nine caches for the day. This is the first time I've logged an interstate cache owned by a Victorian. There was even a Melbourne train ticket in the cache!
As someone said in a log I read somewhere, these river caches have great views of the city, and this one is no exception. Thanks Quasar.
IN: Glue stick, MILLEE Travel Bug

Found it....right on dusk. Great location to watch the lights of the city come on, sit and contemplate life! These 'river' caches in Perth really spoil you for views. TNLNSL Cheers, Rav4Raiders
Found this one easily but watch out for those B####y joggers again. Nice views on the walk around the path, and lots of people having breakfast with a view above us at the cafe.
Took : Piglet George TB and Pet Rock
Left : Cow and Calling card
Thanx for the hunt Quasar.

Found it easily. Yachting race is about to start. Oops a lady with her dog walked by water and took no notice of me and she must think that I am on science field trip because of my attire with equipment ha ha. Love the view of the river with yachts sailing by. Didn't take and left TB in the box as it is for next cacher to pick it. TNLNSL. Thanks for great location.
My 2nd find, this is a lot of fun. Found a good restaurant above, great food and didn't even know it was there! This geocaching has all sorts of benefits. I filled out the book and put in a pen, I've got lots of pens.

This cache is an easy one, being so close to 'Boat Yard Bliss'. We found this after a short (300 mtrs) walk from where we parked the car. It was very visible, though we left it covered a little better. T: the Miss Mac toy and left a train engine and Piglet George (TB). He said that he wanted to try sailing, and thanked us for the lift.
Excellent spot guys! Finally found it in the dark, took a bit of searching. Luckily it was a full moon and we could see a little. Views of city are spectacular from here at night.

found as part of kiwimonster when we ventured away from Oregon to visit Australia
Learned a bit about the bus system here while doing this one. Really enjoyed our walk through the neighborhood. Found it after a bit of hunting. Left Oregon geocoin #337 and our signature kiwimonster was here pen; took a $2 coin. Thanks for the hunt!

Found this cache on a beautiful sunny day. If this is your winter, we like it. We are on our world trip from Kent in UK, and thought this was a beautiful spot. The cache took a bit of finding but we got there in the end. Took a piggy toy and left a 'super bumblebee' a 'Mr Stone', two postcards of the UK (Millenium Dome and St Paul's). We would not have visited this part of Perth without Geocaching, isn't it great! We also left the travelbug 'Gordon Bleau' . Anyone taking him, could they please send us a recipe on our email [email protected] Thanks.
Easy find walked straight up to it.Someone was there yesterday so followed the bent over grass.
T:puzzle. L:piggy
Great spot, was really amazing as you walk around the point the drone of the city is really noticeable.

What a nuisance!!! I had no help from the kids and got very scratched looking for this one. Didn't have sensible shoes on and got a few prickles in my toes....however, we took a couple of pencils and by the time we got back to the car, realised that we also had the RAC Vic Maps (oops). We put in some kids toys (can't remember what they were).
Woo hoo, number two find for me!
Found it on my second attempt - was easier in the day time, but was quite well hidden enough to remain elusive at night!
Not too many people around today, due to the inclement weather ... 30+ knot winds and occasional showers. (For those interested, a great wind info site is (visit link) - invaluable for windsurfers and the like.)
Left a wooden puzzle, took a teddy bear - mainly because it was the biggest thing there, and there is not a lot of free space available in the cache! All still in good condition, despite the inclement weather of late.
Cheers,
Justin FoxRacing

Found this one with Nissan, nice for a change as it zeroed right on it. Earlier caches seemed to dance all over the place with the GPS. Took tape measure left sparkley pencils.
Easy to find, Walked straight up to it.
Quite a busy spot on the weekend.

Nice little walk along the track. found it whithout too much problem, though some of the bushes are a bit scratchy. took alien dude so to speak, and left small charm bracelet.
Great spot and our third for the day. We left a cuddly teddie bear after taking a teddy bear keyring for the geo kiddies. This cache is very near the virtual octopus up the hill!
Gotta luuurrrrve this Geocaching thing. I was only introduced to it 2 weeks ago and we are having a ball. Thanks Dave.
I've heard about this palce but have never been there, great place especially for families on a warm summers evening.

Mark & Steve found the cache on 11/11/02. Took us a little while to locate the lunchbox but did so eventually. We took a paint brush and left a small photo album.
Found it! It is a very nice walk on a sunny day. Just a little pongy though!!
Found 1:30 Nice little walk along the walkway and shoreline. We have found the Minstrel Travel bug again so have collected him and taken him to a new place. We also took a couple of photos of him and the view. We have replaced him with the Yowie Bug that isnt a travel bug...but he has met the Minstrel before up in Pickering Brook.

I left this one to all four boys to find by themselves, and it was no problem.
