Out and about in the Wheatbelt, with the typical winter weather, howling wind, freezing cold, the odd drizzle of rain but nothing to get us drenched!A few rather large puddles on the edges of the road to jump over to get to some of the caches, a little bit of fun to see if this oldie can still do it!! I didnt fall in, so thats even better!Its nice and quiet out here on the back roads, only the odd vehicle passing by as we stopped to pick up a cache.All the caches were found easily, a couple were wet, but all were easy to retrieve, open, the with signing duties done and dusted, the caches were replaced as found.Thanks for the puzzles and the series out here in the Wheatbelt.TFTC

We had solved the puzzles in this series soon after they were published but this was the first opportunity we had to come back to find them! We found all the caches we attempted, some easier than others! The weather was horrendous, freezing cold and windy! It was very wet and muddy and we had to wade in to some of the sites but we had the best time! Some very different cache containers, thanks Morgo the geo and apologies for the generic log but there were just sooo many!

Found at 11:20 AM GAFF1.These caches are well placed, with excellent co-ords and in very logical spots for us cachers to spot. Makes for an excellent series that will be reported in dispatches Thanks to Morgo the geo

Some puzzles were solved before our roadtrip to WA and others recently when we decided Kulin was going to be part of it. Today we came to turn them yellow, all except one. We didn't know how to solve 54... though possibly we did know but couldn't remember the process. TFTC Morgo the geo.

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 31 - Wickepin area day. My plan for the day was the IGD series west of Wickepin. I had a lot of them sorted out before I left home and last night I finished th rest of the puzzles, only leaving the field puzzles to be dealt with. I started with the drive along to The Rabbit Proof Fence Road via a few tree caches. Then there were some great artwork or gadget caches before a pit stop for a chat with a local cacher, always great to meet locals. From there it was into the IGD. It was steady caching, only a few were a problem to locate for me. I should have kept up with the final puzzles, so in the end there was quite a bit of doubling back to get to those, but they were all sorted out and found before heading back to camp at Wickepin. I took a short break to relax and have a snack before going on a walk around the ton to find the three local caches. Dinner at the van tonight, the pub is not operating at the moment. Off to Wagin tomorrow for two more counties.There was no walking for the driving section of the day, all the caches were within a few meters of the road and with few exceptions, they were all found without any problems.Thanks for the cache Morgo the geo47086.25 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Postcard A#41**Albida**

7:58***I used today's free time to fill my cup. This time I decided to go on the IGD - Kulin 2021 geo-art trail.My day started bright and early. I didn't see any cars until around lunchtime (friendly muggler who probably was thinking why there is a car stopped next to the road ) and then many cars on the main road back home. Today I managed to have 73 finds, 4 DNF. Not sure when I will come back to Kulin but there are still plenty of caches around and probably new ones coming along too. So bye 2023 and bring on 2024!

Did these puzzles a while ago. With a few days to get out of the Albany cold. Hope to get all these done today. Thanks for the series.

Arrived in Narrogin last night for WAGB 2023 and today my plan was to tackle this geo-art since both my usual geocaching buddies already have their smilies here. It was a bit slower by myself but still a very enjoyable day. I only saw 3 cars, and 2 of them were geocachers! All but 2 caches were found very quickly, all clues collected and the series completed. Left a few pathtags and favorite points along the way. I think that solving the Bush Nuts jigidi took me about twice as long as finding all the hides today!

Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.

In Narrogin for WA Goes Big 2023. Wow 10years!

Mrs F wrote a list last night but with a late night chat with PollyMichele a realisation of some new caches another hour to get the GPSr updated and the list was rewritten to add 6 new caches. With a very early start for us (7.00am) via the Hot Bread shop a full on day followed with over 90smilies including 4 x FTF and 2 x STF.

This morning we headed back to the IGD trail, had to wait longer at the road works this time.
This was a good series, with good hints & some interesting cache containers. Continued our trek back along the Rubbit proof fence picking up the many caches on our way home.
This afternoon it was looking for caches closer to town.
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

Last trip out this way we saw this series but did not have time to stop and had only solved a few. This time we had solved the puzzles so it was a matter of did we have enough time. Looks like a lot of water had been through various places which is why we may have missed or not found a few but we got through a bit over half and collected some clues.
We completed the signing duties and re hid.

Had a great weekend in lovely Kulin grabbing loads of smileys around the area. Had loads of fun solving the myriad of different puzzles and jigsaws, thanks for all your hard work! We will have to come back to complete these on another foray as time got the better of us and work and reality awaits!

All is well with this cache, buried under alot of bark.... we found all but 1 of these particular caches so clue noted for future finding of the finale on this.

Today was the day I hit Kulin, having lots of puzzles solved, but not visited.

On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. Re-visiting beautiful Kulin. We were here almost a year ago completing the THH. It’s always a friendly little town and a great caravan park. Spent a few days here finding all the many new caches that were placed in the last year. Thought we would need a week, but we managed them all in two days. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing the many varied cache containers and for all the puzzles to solve. We really enjoyed finding all the caches.

Find 22 of 77 with 1 DNF, finishing off the Tin Horse Highway and almost finishing the IGD Wogolins.

Day two on the charge to 1000 finds for the calendar year had SirFancy and I up early and heading to grab all the caches of the IGD Compass geo-art.
We enjoyed the coolness of the morning with SirFancy walking to grab the traditionals while I used the car to grab the puzzles.
After grabbing some FTF’s and fuel in Kulin we headed back to the farm to have a very late breakfast before starting our way home via Wickepin and Narrogin.
Another successful day in the Wheatbelt arriving home with 73 finds and 0 DNF’s

Day 2 of 2 for Myself and Cirrus_WA’s Kulin trip, We woke up early and headed out to do the IGD series, then as we were finishing we were just finishing we got word that some FTF’s were available near Kulin town, we stop past and picked up Burns345 and we landed at GZ and scored the FTF’s and it was back to the homestead for shower and breakfast for me.

Cirrus_WA and I then made our way back home stopping through Wickepin and Narrogin getting caches on the way.

Been a great two days with over 140 finds and 0 DNF’s.

Out and about with richlink gathering up some of the new caches that have popped up in and around Kulin since our last visit a couple of months ago.
We really enjoyed the day, dodging some very heavy showers and trying to avoid the constant icy wind. The variety of hides and cache containers are awsome.
We appreciate the work required to set up the puzzles and then to hide them & maintain them.

Headed back to kulin with redlipsandunicorns and 3 year old eevee to try and clear up some more of the recently published caches. We ran out of time to get them all so it looks like we will be back up this way again in the near future. We found a range of differant cache containers with a few that took a bit of searching to find. As it was still pretty wet out here the mozzies were out in force and we gotten bitten alive. All in all we had a pretty good day and a big thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches for us and everyone else to find.

Two weeks to the day since we were last in Kulin, Ooh Yeh, geobaby and I are back again on a day trip, with hopes of finding at least 74 caches.

**FTF**Woohoo! Part two of an epic day - we were sitting around logging this mornings finds when our phones went off. We all looked at one another and new this would need to be a team effort. Very impressed with the geoart. We raced off each if us having our own chore. Navigator, driver, problem solver, puzzle grinder, finders and pow! Off we went. We were lounging back at the hotel shooting the breeze after an epic 24hours at IGD in Kulin when this series came out so we rolled into the cars and made our way towards this seriously impressive geoart.

Solving puzzles on the fly, some teamwork and some guesswork and we had an absolute blast out here.
