I had to pick up my daughter from a sleepover this morning and noticed this cache was just around the corner. I spied a likely beacon and headed to it. It took a bit of trial and error to work out how to access the log and thankfully I had a pair of tweezers to extract the logbook. An excellent hide to be sure. Thank you TmanTel for placing and maintaining Cache on Fortress for us to find today.
Find number 13446 at 9:26:05AM on Saturday the 29 June 2024Travelling over to the Geocaching Victoria fundraising BBQ at Bunnings in Mernda and grabbing a cache or two on the way.Found the location really quickly but it took a little longer to sign the missing log.Replaced log sheet.**Thanks for placing this cache TmanTel**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Log your will attend for [**Cachemas In July**](https://coord.info/GCAPPGD) and get your [tickets here]( https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1228458?) for the event in Kensington on 27 July 2024.Log your will attend for [**SideTracked Day 2024**](https://coord.info/GCAPPGF) on 10 August 2024 at the Miniature Railway Park in Eltham. The Great Victorian Cache Crawl is coming on 17-18 August 2024, this year starting near Melbourne heading up around Echuca and back over the weekend. Yippee Kiya Mother @#$%/ !! .. Cross this one off the list. Phew !! .. With some guidance from a friend, I knew exactly where to look (as I'd been here 3 days ago giving the place a look at. Found cache with No LB & I didn't even have a spare to replace .. But took a photo, but not to give the cache away !! DSL, however DFTC !! TFTH !!
Needs a NEW LB. Unfortunately I only had large logs on me, otherwise I would have replaced.
Hahahaha great camo. Hubby was with us today and dismissed it pretty quickly. Thankfully Mr 12 doesnt listen and found it. TFTC
All. The cache has undergone maintainance and the log replaced. It has been altered slightly so may be harder to find but the log should not go missing again
Found the correct location very quickly but needed to search around for the log. Quickly had it in hand and replaced where I expected it needed to go. TFTC

*Cache find # 14899.*
I was needing to find a few more caches in the Whittlesea LGA and has there was an event on, I headed over this way once again.
I headed to this one next and made my way along the fence line, as I turned the corner I spotted something which happened to be the cache, the log was retrieved, signed and replaced.
A nice cache placement which I was pleased to spot fairly quickly.
**Thanks to TmanTel for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

Over this way visiting family and decided as we're early to grab a couple of quick caches beforehand. Coords were a bit off but the clever little cache was fairly quickly spotted. TFTC
Tricky! Took a sec, the GPS was a little bit off! Good fun, the 10 yo was pretty chuffed to find it!
Found with icw. As soon as I reached GZ I noticed something out of place and that proved to be the cache. Tftc and a fav point from me.
Another quick one, this time . I would have to say terrain is 1 however at times there maybe muggles on the play equipment making it 2. TFTC
After a bit of a disaster on my way to work, I had to seek out one after to keep my daily streak going. I came back after getting a sad face a few months ago after seeing a few people had found I’d and turned that frown upside down. Was dislodged but signed and replaced back in the logical spot. Tftc
I had visited my *not-so-local* recycling centre and afterwards took the opportunity to drive on a bit further to find a Mystery cache for a long term challenge that I am working on. With that task completed, I was now heading home... stopping off for a few caches that were on my way... sort of!
Without knowing it at the time, I had saved the best cache for this afternoon's trip until last. Very cleverly done, I liked it a lot.
Thanks **TmanTel** for a really great cache... one deserving of another Favourite Point.

Not in original position but we managed to find sign and replaced in the correct place Thankyou
What a great cache! I had to search around to find the log as it had fallen out. I have replaced the log.
The king believes he had found the cache however it’s content was empty… perhaps at the hand of muggles!
The king logs this DNF as the above is either true or the king is a fool. LLTK

I did want to prove that cacheking was a fool but no luck. Pretty certain the cache was found but no amount of tapping was going to produce a logbook and I didn’t want to faucet. Think the log is gone and needs to be replaced. Had none to replace with
Ps. Cacheking and I are mates

Found by Mary and David at 15:35. Have seen this before, but still makes us smile. A FP. Our thanks to TmanTel.
**This Cache:**
Excellent hide! Funny, myself and sebass found an identical cache in the Melbourne suburbs only 2 days prior! So we cottoned on to this one fairly quickly when we spotted it! Nicely done
*Signed the log as **AB!** for "Adventure Boys! which for this cache consisted of Loci612, DARKSIDEDAN, injuryman and sebass19*
---
**Today:**
Today was a fairly chill day! We were all pretty shattered, myself especially from several days of hiking, walking and long days of fast paced caching! Everyone was still keen to get out there though, so we put 2 people in each car and just casually agreed who was following who and finding random caches here and there. I enjoyed following behind DSD as it meant I could switch off my brain a little bit and just park behind him each time, jump out for another cache, and keep going! Didn't have to think about anything too much and just enjoy the serenity of exploring!
We started the day at 7am but finished by 4:30pm! By far the earliest day all week, and then just relaxed in the accomodation, had a chat and ate some food! We also managed to attend the Farewell event near the end of the day before making sure we had cleaned up any final local caches and heading to the accomodation as we were leaving the next morning!
Thanks to all the CO's

Found and signed dsd or darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure.
I take no credit for the actual finding of this cache and am very impressed by Team Gruidae heading straight for it before I even reached GZ.
This was a reasonably quick find. There were muggles in the park but we were hidden from view. Nice hide. Thanks to TmanTel for the cache and a favourite point given.
Reading previous logs here, I picked up a very good clue, but only because I had previous experience with a cache at another location.
The log sheet was full, so I have left a fresh one.
Thank you TmanTel. A favourite point coming your way.

What a cache!! Quite possibly the smallest cache we have found so far. Definitely hidden in plain sight we walked past it so many times haha
TFTC we tried to log it on the paper but it was full.

The wind was blowing a gale so glad to find the cache and head back to the car.

With the wind blowing around here today, stealth was not necessary.
A well constructed cache.

Finally another opportunity to get out with xambo4u chasing up those around Whittlesea we missed on our last excursion. As we headed homeward detoured and made a couple of quick finds. Easily Found. Great Camo. TFTC
Out and about with 80 degrees and on our way back for doing some at Whittlesea. Nice piece of camo here. Just like the one I have at my front door. Thanks for the cache TmanTel
Found by Rebel Acts in the company of Omegaman1971 on what I can only call POETS day.
This is one of the caches found today. This was a nice hide but the tube has come unstuck.
Thanks TmanTel for the cache.

Very clever construction on the hide here, always nice to find one that's a bit different. Thanks for the cache TmanTel, a favourite for the effort.
Today I was up here for a non caching activity but there is always the opportunity to grab a cache or two. Despite the foreboding clouds, I’m glad we made the stop here. A favourite point gives for a creatively crafted cache. Well done TmanTel
Out with BoabTree, we were caching in and around the Hawkstowe Park area.
We searched a couple of obvious places before reading the description carefully. What a joy to find such a cache. A favourite point. Thanks TmanTel.

This is a very well engineered hide, one of the best of this type that I have seen. I was out caching with Echidna44 and we were searching high and low. Then we spotted something and knew we were on to the cache. Brilliant!
Wow that was the smallest log I have ever seen. Lol great hide I have seen similar ones but this is a great cache. Luckily I wasn’t too thirsty today and I’m continuing into the next find. TFTC
Hunted around for awhile until I saw something I'd seen once before and bingo a great cache Thank you TmanTel for your great cache and hide.

After attending the Doreen CITO & CUAD Event, we had the opportunity to learn some of the intriguing history of Doreen as we sought out this little cluster of caches. Neat work, gets a FP from us.
Thanks TmanTel for placing caches in interesting places on the gameboard.

Had a jump on the trampoline... probably not a good idea at my age lol! How clever... well done and thanks for bringing us here
TFTC. Loved this cache. Signed and returned. You can have a favourite from me.
Approaching this I initially imagined waiting for some to finish their workout but not a soul in sight. Heading to home base in the mountains and did a wee detour to pick up this clutch of caches partly on account of mission to move that CENTROID further east and south. This is really well constructed and enjoyable so a fave from me - TFTC and the fun! Nice find
Tada ️
First cache ever - we found some Lego in the trampolines which were traded at the next cache.

A great cache to find here today. Love a cache that has effort put into it, even though I love a box under a bush, these can be so much more rewarding.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today for without the enjoyment of having someone hide a geocache we would not have the fun and enjoyment of finding a geocache.

A lovely day for a walk around Doreen examining the houses and gardens.
I had to wait for a few muggles to leave the area before I looked around and noticed something that required closer examination. A very well created cache.
Thank you TmanTel for this cache.

This one is so cheeky, great first hide. I'll be watching your caching career with great interest!
No luck, though enthusiasm was curbed by rain. Found some empty Velcro so if it was there it is no longer.
"It looks like a miniature Fortress from the Grampians."
As the bananas approached this today that was the comment. The Fortress is a significant climbing location in the back country. A long difficult walk to get to. A even harder climb with it. A treat for all those who are brave enough.
But not the bananas.
Don't let ambitions mix with ability.
Just settle yourself here.
