Part one had me stumped looked for all the usual out of place things, not really sure what I was looking for. Had my little one with me, which made it a bit more difficult but alas no fine today.

Out finding a few caches with 11Pianoman. I had solved this puzzle quite a while ago and even been to the solved coords and managed to get the final coords. At that time, the creek was up due to recent rain so the find was left for another day. Today, I decided to check the creek as there was rain forecast again and I wanted to try to make the find before then. 11Pianoman and I made our way across the creek without getting our feet wet, then scrambled up the other side. We searched and searched without luck, expanding and contracting our search area. Eventually, I made a PAF. As I was chatting to them, I was making my way back to where 11Pianoman was sitting at GZ. Then I kicked something that was hidden in the undergrowth. Looking down so as to not kick it again, I spotted something worth a closer look. Sure enough, it was the cache. With our names added tot he log and everything returned as found, we made our way back across the creek and back to the geomobile. As we made our way back, 11Pianoman told me that this was a fun cache and he wanted to find more like this. Looks like I am in for a lot of bush bashing in the future. TFTC

Out for a day of caching with Selva Girls, we came here to grab this one, as Selva Girls had this one solved for a while. After walking down to the brook and spending a little bit of time trying to figure out how to get across the brook. We took a while to find our way up to the listed coordinates and looked around for a while. We looked for a while and eventually found the cache. We signed the log and returned it easily. TFTC.

I was headed out this way today, and this looked a little different so I thought I'd have a try. No problem with part 1, but on arrival at the designated location ... nothing. Well, not nothing, lots of things there, and several of them looked suspicious to me - but then I'm not from here so wadda I know. Anyway, searched for something geocache related, and failed. Still have no idea what exactly I was supposed to be looking for, but regardless I did not find it.

Meandered alongside the creek until we found a spot we could cross over then headed back towards GZ. Didnt take too long to locate the cache . Made our way back to the car with surprisingly dry feet after the rain we had in the last 24 hours. TFTC

I used to love this type of puzzle as a kid and I remember completing many books of them so part a of the requirements was a breeze. The next bit was more challenging but we were able to find out the coordinates some time ago. Today we had the chance to return and find our way over to the cache. With a careful area section and a leap, I was able to get to GZ without getting wet. Once there, it too a bit is a hunt before I spotted something in the grass that I wanted to check out. Thankfully when I lifted it up, I discovered it was the cache. All good here. Thanks DanSanHai

After 2 weeks of stumbling our way through the puzzles, and 4-5 visits to the site, we finally found it today! Our first proper puzzle cache. And our most local. TFTC!

After attending a CITO event and then making an unexpected visit to my dentist who happened to be close by, I still had some extra time on my hands to search for some additional caches, including this one. I had already solved the first part of the puzzle and had that stored away. Today I was looking for the next set of information. Like other finders. I looked at the decoy item first before spotting the required data in a location I had already checked but not thoroughly enough. Immediately I knew what to do with the information, but I got my order wrong first and then, once corrected, still gave me some suss looking coordinates. I went back to the car and redid the puzzle to confirm I had my answers right. Putting in my solution again, this time the checker gave a much better looking set of coordinates. I manage to find a track leading to a suitable crossing point, keeping dry feet, and then headed over to GZ. I had previously read other finders' logs, so Id gleaned an idea of what I was looking for, but I was literally stumbling over the cache before spotting it. TFTC

After finishing work I stop to find this cache. I love the location which way to come. Walking in the jungle of weed or crossing the creek. I did both for the fun. Love the cache.
Thank you DanSanHai and Millzorz placing and maintaining the cache for my enjoyment.

4/2/2023 Find #5679
Pprime and I had decided on a long overdue morning catch up, and having conquered what we wanted over the other side of town, we headed back towards home, grabbing lunch not too far from here, before deciding to throw this cache in as our final for the day.
Pprime had been here before, but had come unstuck.
Today however we were better prepared, and after I also got the WP information, we headed off for GZ.
A bit of a recon, and we finally decided on a good spot to make our water crossing. Then it was only a short wander before we were at GZ where it took a little search to uncover the cache.
And then the heavens opened as we began our journey back to the car. Luckily it wasn’t too heavy, and signified the end of our caching day.
Thanks for the cache DanSanHai. An enjoyable puzzle which I am glad to have finally headed to and claimed.

After a fun morning southside caching, 1MinnieMoo and I were heading home - but always time for one more! Over lunch nearby we discussed the bits we had of this puzzle and were able to put it together and come up with some coordiantes that made sense (until we got there). But we found a way to our chosen GZ and sure enough to be sure there was a cahce don't you know. Good show laddies.

Thanks DanSanHai and Millzorz for entertaining me at this location.

On a solo field puzzle attribute mission today. Collecting as many as I could. On inspecting this puzzle I was surprised to see I had already solved it. Go me!

Reaching the first WP I wasn’t quite certain what to be searching for. I did spy one object that looked kind of likely but on closer inspection it revealed nothing but emptiness. Hmmm? A quick read of the logs and I discovered a helpful hint. Well, there it is I used my handy dandy pocket gismo and soon had further clues.
I know what to do with that! Soon enough I had a good looking set of final coords.

Rightio, off I go…. Following the path I reached the place for getting wet feet. Off with the flip flops and a small splash later I was closing in on GZ. While flip flops are great for removing easily to cross waterways, they aren’t so great for the terrain I had to battle next Slip sliding all over the shop I eventually made it to my desired location. A poke here and there and the funky container was located. Woohoo!

Thanks for the puzzle and smiley DanSanHai Big Grin
Happy to part with a FP for this cache.

Events often bring with them a whole heap of geocaching in the event area. So it was today.

There were quite a few attendees at today's event that made up the group to tackle this solved (or partially solved) mystery.

So glad of the company to help figure it out so we could have a yellow smiley.

Log signed and cache replaced on 11th December 2022. TFTC, DanSanHai and Millzorz.

Travelling and caching on our way to the Christmas events on the northside picking up some Adventure Labs, bonuses, trads qand puzzles.

After the event we met up with geofriends to tackle this puzzle. We had a volunteer to do the legwork and it was not too long before the find was made.

Happy Christmas everyone.

After attending 2 Events on the Northside of Brisbane it was time for a group of us to head off to find some more caches and this one was a very difficult one for me with wonky knees. Lucky we had someone who offered to do the hard yards and climb down the steep incline towards the creek. Too much water coming from the other side. We gave a lot of moral support - giving direction, PAF etcuntil the cache was located. Log signed and cache replaced as found and more support offered until our volunteer was back with us. TFTC

Out for the event nearby when a group assault was suggested.

With new co-ords entered it was off to final. With a few wrong tuns we finally worked out how to get there.

Solved sometime in the last few months, as there was an event on nearby I left early hoping to turn this into a find before the event.
Found the plentiful black ants and a couple of other things before spotting the tiny clue. Admit that I more than once considered going to the event first and getting info from a recent finder. But I persevered .
Coordinates looked to match earlier logs.
After a loop of GZ I found the cache too!
Have another FP
Find number 28292 for me.
Thank you DanSanHai and Millzorz for hiding this geocache.

Found with a great group of cachers whilst attending a local event. After walking around to one side of the river, we decided an assault from the other side was the way to go. What followed next was a battle of wits between modern technology, womens intuition, sheer hardheadedness and group comraderie Smile A lot of cheering on and shouted directions, but finally cache was in hand. TFTC.

After my DNF last weekend, I decided to come back as I had a bit more information on what I was looking for, as well as the CO saying that all was good. This time I didn't have a friend waiting for me and my coordinates had me a bit further along. After a few minutes of searching, I found the sneaky hide. Now I understand the name - not that shamrock but that shamrock. Almost trod on a water dragon in the long grass on my way back. And the creek was up slightly which is interesting as I don't remember there being any rain during the week. A fp for so many clever aspects. Tftc

Checked on GZ today and noted the cache location was clear of any fallen debris, but with plenty of new vegetation growth. Yet another amazing landscape transformation after heavy rainfall. As always, be safe and enjoy.

05-Nov-22
This was close to some caches I had targeted for today. I worked out which geocacher last week so was prepared.
At the posted coordinates, I searched for something, not knowing what I was looking for. Saw a couple of likely things but all we did was disturb many black ants, luckily not the bitey ones. So I made a PAF which narrowed down what I was looking for. After disturbing many more ants, I spotted what was needed. Did the calculation and headed off to nearby gz. Luckily we found a way across the creek without getting wet feet.
We spent some time searching around the tree and area overgrown with Spanish daisy without success, so I made another PAF. With specific details, I still couldn’t find anything. There is a broken branch right at gz, so it maybe under that. I tried to reach in as best I could but couldn’t find anything. Maybe another day when the plants have died down. Photo of partially broken but still alive branch at gz.

Third time lucky. Happy to make the find here today. Thanks to the CO for the update.
An fp for the great puzzle and clever camo.
Thanks DanSanHai and Millzorz for the experience.

This morning, I attended Mitchelton parkrun to start out my day with a 5 km run, but then had a small time window to find a few nearby geocaches, before needing to grab coffees and return back home.
After celebrating a one-year birthday party, jesswrigley and I took the drive south to Robina and Currumbin, where we strolled along the beach and checked out the artwork sculptures on display as part of the Swell festival. It was only a short visit as we needed to make a seminar/dinner at Mt Gravatt, so we weren't able to explore the area too much today.

Having seen this geocache's location slightly changed to perhaps a more logical spot, and being nearby today, I decided to give this geocache another go. Last time I was here, there were two routes across the creek, and I thought one was safer at not getting wet, but with recent rains, it was a little more riskier. And it resulted in me getting one of my feet wet. Anyway, I then took a walk to GZ, and after a short search, I soon located the nicely camouflaged cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks DanSanHai and Millzorz for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have finally converted this cache from a frown to a smile!

Couldn’t find it

Second visit here, after a good look around, and a recent conversation with a previous finder, I was still unable to find this one.

09-Jul-22
I probably did this puzzle out of order. I first visited the Posted Coordinates on 21/05/2022 to get the clue, and I was searching around for a few minutes until discovering the sneaky camouflaged container. So the clue was obtained, and then it was a matter of solving the puzzle. Once I had the necessary grid, it was only a matter of working through the clues, and I soon identified the Geocacher who found The Shamrock, their background and favourite cache type a few weeks later following my visit on 9/06/2022.

This morning, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I commenced the day with Mitchelton parkrun, which included a 5 km distance run/walk. Following the event, we extended our fitness session with a continued walk along Kedron Brook, before then returning home via coffees!
The morning was then spent running errands and shopping before attending a family lunch, and we then called past the *Winter Solstice 2022 (plus some)* CITO event at Fenwick Park.

With this geocache's recent check and replacement by the CO, I thought it would be a good occasion to then make this find. An interesting track down to the creek, and there didn't seem to be a strong crossing point unless I walked another 100 m. So across we went and some slight damp shoes later, I was on the other side and soon arrived at GZ. I searched a few obvious hiding spots, and there seemed to be a geological outcrop at GZ that I had guessed to be the infamous Shamrock. I continued to search all around clearing some leaf debris, and then expanding my search, where I found a wet rabbit toy (hoping this wasn't related to the cache?!). After a good 10 minutes of searching around, and puzzled to think how I could have missed this cache only a few days after this cache was replaced, I had to leave defeated. I did opt for the safer and drier crossing on the way back. It looks like I'll need to return another day for this one. Thanks anyway DanSanHai and Millzorz for the cache placement.

Thanks Ngaambul for the review note. This cache has been affected by a number of severe weather events, between which we were able to retrieve the weathered components and complete the necessary repairs.

We have been monitoring the cache site, which until recently, access to the cache remained unsafe due to the changed landscape, and the local council is yet to clean up the fallen debris in the area.

Today I have been able to access, clean and replace the container in its original position with alternative approaches available - I will confirm whether a change in terrain rating is required.

The Shamrock is now gladly back in position and ready to find. Good luck!

Out with IolantheK for a spot of caching today [^]
She had done the preliminary solving, now we had the field element to deal with.
Well all our ducks lined up, found what was needed at the posted co-ords. IolantheK knew straight away what to do with the info and I spied the cache right where first looked Smile
TFTC DanSanHai and Millzorz Cool enjoyed the puzzling a fav from me!

Out with T-Tech for a few hours rounding up some caches.

I solved the puzzle for this one last night and had my answer ready, so when T-Tech found the next bit, everything fell into place neatly. A bit more solving gave us the final numbers. Onwards to GZ, and I'm pleased to say there were no wet feet! T-Tech made the find. TFTC, DanSanHai and Millzorz.

It’s nice to find a cache that’s different and novel. Even if I did get wet from a misjudged jump on my way to GZ after the last few days’ rain. Thanks for the cache

The CO and I are geo work friends and she had been telling me about a cache she was planning and when I saw it published my other geo work friend and I tried to get time to solve the puzzle . We soon had an idea of what we needed to do and thought what could be needed at GZ . Thinking we might be able to solve it without going to GZ we tried all sorts of things and after talking to the CO we realized that going to GZ was a definite. We often jump into puzzles without reading all the instructions and never learn as these instructions are very clear. So today after work with the information in hand I headed to GZ and it was not long before I found what I needed (that’s fantastic). I happily headed off to the final and on approach I saw someone just where my compass was pointing and knew the only person who would be over there would be a geocacher . It was great to meet teamtinda once again and I decided to take off my shoes to get to GZ asking him how he got there and he said he jumped. Im not so graceful so taking off my shoes for the wading bit was best. Then I looked in an obvious spot with no luck and then caught something out of the corner of my eye that looked suspicious and yes it was the cache. Loved the log book and actually the whole cache was so well put together. Teamtinda said he thought the cache was tremendous and I have to agree. Definitely giving it a FP for all the fun

I only found out about this new cache from the daily Geocaching Australia email which tells you about every new cache in Qld (handy). With one day of holidays left, I decided to head over this way and check it out (after solving the first part over breakfast).
At the WP, I dodged a few dogs and owners as I struggled to find something out of place. Once I had the unmistakable item in hand, I did what seemed obvious and then took a second to work out what to do next.
Oh yeah… I think I was actually the first cacher in Brisbane to use this for a mystery hide…
After getting closer, I decided to JUMP and managed to keep my shoes dry and my ankles unsprained.
The container was a beauty and I was surprised to find 2 TBs inside, unlogged. I took one.
Just as I was wrapping up, Que Sera appeared. Always great to encounter another cacher in the wild and I was impressed by Q’s willingness to go barefoot to make progress! Anyone would think she enjoys the water…
TFTC which is excellent. An FP from me for this *recommended* cache.

*FTF*

Sitting at home logging my caches from a recent trip away and I hear the phone go ding, I look up and see it is a puzzle cache not far away. Having just spoken to Nikid1 I rang her back and said lets go for this one. While I was driving to the cache published coordinates, she was madly working out who was on first and so on.

We reached GZ and looked around for the second part of the puzzle. Some more calculations and we then had a set of coordinates that looked good, well maybe. I went for a drive thinking it was in something I spied from a distance. But I then came back and we started our walk from another spot.

We soon found the cache and a few surprises, thanks for this one a different and nice puzzle arrangement, I hope it lasts for others to enjoy as well.

**FTF** with Chamad 11:58

I saw some new caches had come out but had decided on a day of housework so I didn’t take too much notice.
Chamad gave me a call saying he was on the way to GZ and asked if I could look at the puzzle. I had 10 minutes before I had to take my daughter to work so I quickly drew up a grid (as I do love these types of puzzles) and in my allotted time had all but one piece of the puzzle solved (was down to 2 options).
By the time I had dropped off daughter Chamad had some more information to share. I had an idea what to do and in no time had some good looking coords. I sent them through and said I’ll be there in about 15 minutes. Chamad had tried an approach which didn’t work so he was just getting to the cache as I pull up. Once on the correct path to GZ we had the cache in hand in no time.

This was a fabulous puzzle and I love the element of field puzzle added as well. A FP from me.
I just hope the cache survives as it looks a little fragile.

Thanks for a great first hide DanSanHai
