This is a great palace and garden and a good excursion out of busy Rome. Thanks for putting a cache here, from team socks.
WOW! Very impressive indeed. We could quite easily spend a few hours a day walking around this magnificent Eden. It’s a good thing we did not notice any apple trees guarded by snakes around. TFTC
Found it with Bluemarlin. Lot of muggles, but in this case no problems with the cache! TFTC.
Quick find in the sun, emails exchanged. Very surprised after the total soaking I got whilst out caching first thing. Cheers MaxKim.
Thanks for an excuse to do some geocaching while making my way through the amazing gardens. It was nice to get out of the city for a day and enjoy the fresher air up in the hills at the Villa d'Este and then at Hadrian's Villa nearby. Except for a few moments of threatening skies, the weather was great today. Thanks!
Enjoyed the (tourist-deserted!) park just before closing-time in the last rays of the November sun, watching the heavy rainclouds drawing near.(bonus event: thunderstorm while driving back into Rome).Beautiful setting of the location! Certainly deserves a re-visit during summer.TFTC!
