A quick find after a weekend presentation to Yarra Ranges councillors on a hot and windy Saturday. Thanks.
A lovely walk around the park, luckily found this one just before the old fishing line knots were about to give out... so re-secured before replacing TFTC
Distracted by something that wasn't a geocache before we looked a bit deeper and there it was! Tftc!
We found this cache today on our Canterbury Road / Swansea Road Linear Cache Jaunt. We took a couple of looks here before twigging to this hide. Nicely placed. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Visiting from Perth, and didnt have a kayak to collect the caches at Lillydale lake so happy to grab this one on the way home. TFTC
Leaving work early this afternoon to go dirt bike riding and being a bit early gave me the perfect opportunity to grab some local caches that I normally drive by, I normally go running around this area, so no time to stop and sign the caches Quick easy find tftc
We were in the area to grab an adventure lab anf thought that we would pop into the park to try our luck at afew caches. We pulled up to find a couple of muggles pulled up in their car sitting straigt in front of gz so we decided to sit back and eat lunch here hoping that they would move off. Happily this idea worked and once they were gone we moved over to gz where the well hidden cache was found surprisingly quickly and after adding our name to the log everything was returned as it was,Many thanks PALL4 for this cache.
Quick find on a beautiful day. A magpie didn’t want to leave his perch but finally gave up. Tftc
Blue is my favourite colour! The hardest part of this cache is avoiding muggles. They come from all directions, people of all kinds and ages, accompanied with diverse creatures on leads. It’s a good thing I like people watching. Thanks for this cache, I enjoyed my time there.
Our second find of the day and another nice quick one with a bit of a different way to hide a cache, nice one! TFTC!!
This is a very clever hide, along a lovely walk around the Lilydale lakes area. I did not realise that this Lake area was so large with so many tracks. Great spot for a cache.
It was a bit hard to believe but we'd actually walked right past this one while on our journey up to the lake today. That wasn't too critical though as we had to pass it again on our way back anyway. That being the case, we made sure that we stopped on our return and once at GZ, we soon spotted what we needed to see which had us signing the log from this cleverly hidden stash at 14:15.
TNLNSL, although our BYO geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks PALL4.

So engrossed in our bushwalk we walked right past this one on the way out, but one the way back we focussed on the cache and signed the log with Eudes at 2:15pm.
thanks PALL4
thanks PALL4
Clever hide and we were able to retrieve the cache without anyone around.

After parking the car here we went for a walk around the lake and upon our return decided to seek out this cache which was our one and only for the day. Clever hide!

Not quite as much of a walk as we expected lol Gathering at GZ we looked at all the usual spots, not keen to try the by-touch approach for others, and then I spotted something that sure enough was the crafty little cache hide. Log signed, container done up properly (it was only half done when I found it) and replaced between passing muggles we were off to find one last cache for the day. TFTC
In the area for an arvo of caching with quiet1_au, we had scored an FTF on the new puzzle near Lilydale airport and now were finding caches around the area and now heading back towards home. We gave the obvious spot a once over and came up empty handed or rather spiderweb handed then q1 located the cache. Nice placement

Meeting a friend in this car park for a walk around the lake, had to take opportunity to locate this cache. Like the hiding spot. TFTC
After clearing a bunch of spidey webs for whoever comes next and coming up with nothing but webby fingers I changed my tactic. Thankfully I did because then I had the clever little cache soon in hand!
Thanks for a fun cache! # for the day on my way towards 100 for the month

I’ve seen one of these clever hides before so no trouble with this today. Right near the start of one of my regular walking paths.
Nice day for a market!! FOUND !!, all quick & easy !! .. DO THE HAPPY DANCE !! .. SL, TFTC !!

G'day there PALL4,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue.
The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

After a good look at this sign, we found what we were looking for.
Thanks PALL4 for a suitable hide here.
Thanks PALL4 for a suitable hide here.
I came up to Lillydale Lake today with the main focus of trying to find [Home Sweet Home (GC9KGQ5)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9KFQ5), as I needed to find a T4.5 cache on a Wednesday in order to help me work on qualifying for the [DotW Challenge Series - D/T ratings (GC8F0GY)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC8F0GY).
However as [Home Sweet Home (GC9KGQ5)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9KFQ5), requires wading, I figured I would try to grab a few caches around the lake before I inevitably had to take the wet walk.
This one was my sixth find of the day. As I approach GZ I saw the very obvious beacon.
*mmhmm... but where could the cache be hidden...*
I have seen alot of nano caches hidden on these type of beacons, so I started looking in every nook and cranny, but no luck. After a couple of laps around the beacon, I eventually spotted something that looked a bit out of place.
A very fun little cache!
I ended up picking up the [HQ SCB #1 (TB8R6A8) trackable](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=f3a1ad3c-1e29-495f-a1ac-a7ca386dad53) from a previous cache found today, but with this cache being a micro size cache, I will just "dip" it here to put some Kms on it.
Thanks so much for the fun today and TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in good shape, the attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean. However, the logbook is now full. The next finder will have to try and squeeze their signature on the page.

Although part of the car park is closed off for maintenance, this cache is still easily accessible. We had to make sure the workers weren't looking before we grabbed it though. I liked the construction of this cache so will give it a favourite point for its creativity.

Quick stop and stretch in Lilydale as i journeyrd home. Nice quick retrieve of this cache while no one is around nice little hide.
My wife and I were filling in time before a local Thai place opened. If there is such a thing - we had restauranted ourselves out two days into our holiday and wanted something quick and easy for dinner.
The weather was turning on and off more than a juvenile who’s found a power switch for the first time. It was either raining so lightly you wondered why the car rain sensors sent the blades spinning or it was raining hard enough to wonder whether you grandparents would call with the results from the rain gauge in their backyard.
We had to drive passed a few caches because Mrs Woodyrothwell didn’t want to get her designer dress (from K-Mart - or as it’s known in France: Lés K’) wet because it was raining. The weather eased as we pulled up and enjoyed the hide. tftc

The stress we felt when placing this one back. whew safely did it! a fun little hide. TFTC PALL4
Found with my GeoDog. Very cool hide. Not difficult to find so much as navigating the spiders. TFTC
Fav point for the ingenuity.

Pleased to be able to add a smiley here, especially when it is so close. Thanks for the cache.
After picking up a cabinet after work, Geoturtle37 and I made our way here to search for this cache. Not too many places to hide a cache here, but we were looking in all the wrong places, until I spotted something a little out of the ordinary. Clever!
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, PALL4

This was the perfect cache for the day for so many reasons. Nice quick find. Didn't have to walk far at all so the impending downpour wasn't a problem. This was so appreciated after a hectic but awesome weekend at the Whittlesea Mega. Thanks for the cache which was also close to home. Another reason for this being perfect which makes this a favourite for me.
Between muggles and checking the usual places for no result I almost gave up, but glad I persisted. TFTC
Tftc.. was a little empty handed at first glance.. sat back in the car and waited for muggles to leave. Ah ha! Hit the prize.
A trip to the Lilydale area today so looked for some caches in the time I had spare.
So yeah that has to be where it is. A quick look came up empty but another look had the cache in my hand signed and returned and on my way.
Thanks PALL4

Another day of caching shenanigans with Stemicmitsar, and with some more hiking on the mind. Hamfish and his event in Kinglake had caught our eyes, collecting some trads and other odds and ends on the way up for myself as I subject Stemicmitsar to walking the "loop" again.
Next cache we were able to quickly find this one with no issues as the carport was empty and the nearby muggles were distracted playing with their dogs

Today it was time for buhfuhguh and myself to head for the hills, Mount Everard to be exact to attended an event but before hand we decided to swing by Lilydale lake to pick up a few caches along the way.
As we were passing by we stopped for a quick look, it was fairly obvious as to the structure it was going to be on but we did have a quick look all over it before we spotted what was needed, the cache was retrieved and the log signed.
**Thanks to PALL4 for placing this cache.**

Was going to find this one two days ago but the maker was on, came back today and found it!
I had just dropped off daughter and friend nearby and got the son off technology to enjoy the winter sun. After doing the csches nearby we quickly walked to this cache. We both spotted it at the same time from different angles. Tftc. Now to race back home to drop off the boy and then get my gal and friend to take them op shopping. tftc
After completing the Lillydale Lake Parkrun we decided to grab a cache and as we were already back at the car this one seemed our best option. There were a few muggles in the area mainly the four legged kind. A very clever little hide. TFTC
After completing the Lilydale Lake Parkrun I thought I would grab a cache here. Loved this hide, very clever. Not sure I avoided the muggles and their dogs. TFTC
Didn’t have a pen today but found
Best bit was when it hit my friend in the glasses when pulling it out

Picking up a few caches whilst in the area, we swung by this cache. Amazingly it was muggle free and our GPS lead us straight to a good looking spot.
Noticing something a little different, we soon had the cache in hand. This would have been a lot harder if the usual masses of people were here today, so I think we were pretty lucky to have such a quick find.
Thank you PALL4.

Thanks for the Cache PALL4, found this one a couple of weeks ago but I was rendered completely penless. Today it was a quick drive-by. Regards from Victourer.
Spotted this one pretty quickly but oh, the muggle traffic was very heavy. I spent so much time sitting on the grass nearby pretending to be relaxing, waiting first to retrieve the cache and then to return it that I feared I would take root like the trees around here lol! Thanks for this one, I enjoyed how clever it was!
The evening was so beautiful that Juzzmagic and I went for a ride along some of the trails nearby. We stopped for this cache and, as I had been reading the previous logs, I expected a difficult find. Something caught my eye and the log was soon signed.
Thanks PALL4, a favourite point coming your way.
