Suscoe and Phetlern headed out for a day's caching adventures to the south and south west of Wagga. We had a range of caches to look for including the Pub Crawl series and the A to M caches as well as any others we came across that were on our list for today. It was a warm day with bright sunshine and a gentle breeze. We had lots of fun and we enjoyed our day out with Phetlern. We used stickers to sign the logs with both our caching names and dated November 2024The caches were terrific with a variety of hides. We saw quite a few birds of all sizes from large eagles down to little wrens. We even came across a goanna that had just headed up a tree. Thanks to Aircon09 for this hide.It has been a long day out caching today and this was our last find before heading back to our accommodation.

With lots of corrected coordinates and green icons on the geo map, it is time for a visit to Wagga Wagga with Suscoe to clean the geoboard a little.Day two greeted us with a fine warm day, with a light breeze, so we headed south to initially do a bit of fishing and then do a pub crawl, as well as pick up a few other caches on the way. This was one of the caches we found today, whilst the plumbers works nearby on a water feature for the playground. Our thanks to 'Aircon09' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.38361*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*

#6649.This was our last cache for the day. Luckily we still had some caching senses with us, otherwise it could have easily stumped us. Thanks for placing a cache here for us to find.

Reperio 07:36Day 3 of our Wagga Wagga trip, and Master Vitruvius and I started the day out with a FTF, followed by a drive out to Uranquinty and The Rock. Mostly every cache was found in good condition, and for the third day in a row, had a fantastic day out caching. Once again on the hunt for alien souvenirs - hoping to get another 20 caches this weekend to get within sniffing distance (with a planned trip to Canberra near the end). Today was a Drover/Gopher day as I poked around south of Wagga and found the 19 caches I attempted. My original plan was to head straight across to the The Rock but I was well ahead of schedule so I headed north on the back roads onto Uranquinty for some lunch (grabbed after the cache). I had visited this one once before but the tennis courts were occupied so no chance of searching. All quiet on this visit apart from some barking dogs across the road. Today I did a Couple of laps and no obvious hide was revealed. Thought a bit more and finally looked up and the penny dropped - have seen a few of these but has been a while. Log signed and replaced as found.TFTC Aircon09

Day 13 of my interstate trip. Today I left Burrumbuttock which was a great donation camp site and continued north and made it as far as Oura which is East of Wagga Wagga which is where I set up camp for the night. I managed to find 23 caches today and ended up with a bad day for DNF's with 7.Continuing on north towards Wagga Wagga. arrived not having any idea what the clue meant then I workeed it out. Good hide.TFTC Aircon09

This weekend plans were hatched with Rapidlywild to head down the highway to attend the three events in Wagga Wagga and pick up some more caches in the area. Set off from Canberra a little after finishing work at 4 in order to reach Wagga for the dinner event. After doing the pub series with others we split off and ventured out on our own collecting others around the area.Roads were fairly quiet today with was nice.No issue here cache stamped with the RWLD and FFLL stamp.Tennis courts dont look to be used much. Thanks for the hide Aircon09 and for the fun weekend away Rapidlywild.

FurfacesLL #1 reached out and asked if I would be keen on a Wagga weekend, sure sounds like fun. So plans were put into place that we headed East after work and planned to be in Wagga in time for the evening dinner event. It was a fun weekend away, caught up with cachers we know and new cachers too. We spent the morning with other Canberra cachers doing some team finds, which we had finished and FFLL and I went our own way. We decided to follow the GPS slowly making our way North back towards Wagga Wagga. This was the next find along the way and we located a cache quite quickly, stamped and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache placement Aircon09 and thanks for another enjoyable weekend away FFLL.

Found it, new log has been installed which is great. Had to deal with young kids wandering around near ground zero and near the big tree. BUT they were looking for a geocache as well. They were relieved I found it because they walked past it many times. Cheers.

Very cool spot. Took a while but had fun watching the kids struggle.

08-Jul-23
Heading to Wagga today to pick something up, haven't been here in a few years and definitely haven't cached it yet. Bit of a miserable day but there was a few windows of sunshine.

Took a bit to spot this one, gps had me looking at the wrong structure. Once I looked further afield, I spotted something odd, which revealed the cache. Kids enjoyed a play here.

TFTC!

#20921. Day 1 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. We had a pleasant journey gathering caches along the way before arriving in Cootamundra for the niight. Enjoyed the sunshine and the scenery once the fog lifted.

Wasn't sure what "other" might be here but we soon spotted it on approaching GZ. The log sheet is lasting extremely well but there are only a few spots left so it might be worth checking soon. We had a good walk around so that the doggies could stretch their legs. Very impressive Community Centre across the other side of the oval.

Thanks Aircon09

Day one on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Tonight we have made it as far as Cootamundra.

A very well maintained park in the back blocks of Uranquinty.
The cache barely stretched our legs, and the geodoggies were not impressed!
So after we signed the well hidden cache we took them for a walk further into the park.
Thanks, Robmc.
PS: there are only a few spots left on the log sheet.

With today being my last opportunity to go caching before 2023, I needed to! I also wanted to get a new PB for most finds in a single year. So, after work today, I headed to Wagga for some shopping and lunch before heading farther south to find some caches. I drove down to Yerong Creek to find the new AL and a couple of other caches along the way. I ended up with 8 finds today before finding something cool to use for GC9FAVE making my new total 9. I also caught up BMG on the way past. All this lead to a great day out. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. Big Grin TFTC's Big Grin

This one was has been on the to-find-list for far to long. So, today while on my way home, I stopped off to find it. Once at GZ a quick find was made and after signing duties were competed, I replaced it ready for the next finder. Now time to head home.

Pulled in car park at other end of field for the night on our way to South Australia, checked out the area for a cache and sure enough this one popped up on the radar.
It was an easy find though the hint was rather more cryptic than it should have been, headed straight for it because we had found similar caches elsewhere.

With the scarcity of caches left these days it was rewarding to be able have one near by.
Thanks guys for the creative cache.

I knew what to look fo and it should have been a quick find but I still ended up walking past it about 3 time before I spotted it. TFTC.

Caching today with Albida33, Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and GLISS! down and around Wagga. Great to be able to tackle the Armco to Mango trail and quite a few tricky caches in the area before heading out to the Oura River Community Event. Thanks for everyone who planted or maintains these caches. We had a great day!!

05-Feb-22
fitzy_1965 and I have looked forward to attending a Community Celebration event at Oura Beach for a long while. We kept in contact with the owner after it got delayed due to flooding, just so we didn't miss it as we love camping at Oura Beach.

We arrived mid-morning and set up camp then headed off for the day. Met up with albida33, nibletricecakes & GLISS! With the Armco to Mango series in our sights and others along the way, we ended up way past The Rock! Still got sidetracked on the way back and ended up being later to the event then we had hoped.

Thanks to all the CO’s along the way. All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise advised.

05-Feb-22
This weekend has long been down as a Wagga Wagga camping trip for a Community Celebration event at Oura Beach. I was determined to use the time to have a good bite at the remaining caches in the region as well as catch up with plenty of great friends. Day 2. After a first night at Our Beach with the cockatoos, Corellas and Kookaburras, I was up bright and early to greet my fellow campers. Next was off into Wagga to get on with LABs and some caches before meeting up first with Nibbletricecakes and Gliss! and a little later Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK. We then targeted a few old solved puzzles before suburbs get too busy and then went south to do the Mango series and caches out by the Rock, before heading back (a little late) for the evening Community Event at Oura beach. Fellow cachers gathered from far and wide and several planning on staying the night. A great day.

Thanks for the cache Aircon09

26,887. Found with minniek, albida33, nibletricecakes and GLISS! during our Wagga Wagga weekend wander.

With a Camping Community Celebration Event being held at one of our favourite camping spots at Oura Beach, minniek and I headed on down this morning and set up camp near the Event CO. We then went out and caught up with an already caching albida, NRC and GLISS! to tackle the Armco to Mangoplah trail plus other caches. This was the next one on our list, and we made a nice quick find once at GZ. Signed the log (as MiNiFiGAs), replaced the cache as found, then we continued on to the next one.

Thanks Aircon09 !!

Found with Albida33, Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and Nibletricecakes on a daytrip to Wagga. Lots of fun caches found throughout the day and finished off with a terrific Celebration Event. Wagga has a little more yellow for me now and I'm already planning my next visit to chip away some more. Thanks Aircon09 for adding to my fun visit to Wagga.

Found at 12:29 PM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
"Stretch your legs" must be the most used cache title in the game, or at least mentioned in cache descriptions I would say!
The cache was spotted quickly and we pretty much were confident in what type of "container" it was going to be due to the "Size", but what few us was the T rating of just 1.5! Now there is now way half of our 2 teams would get anywhere near that cache.
Thanks Aircon09.
Feedback: The T rating should be at least a 2.0.

Wagga . Travelling with pprass

The remainder of the morning we did the Armco to Mango Series & then home via Uranquinty.
A wonderful time out travelling around the farming area.

This was an easy find for me as I have one like this at home.
I think your terrain rating is too low as I was unable to reach it without some help.

Thankyou Aircon09 for placing this cache.
