Pretty sure this one has disappeared following gardening work. Been here before with another cacher and its either well hidden under mulch or gone.
Had no joy here either. ANother reason to return and search more slowly. Thanks for the hunt BernieH
Out for the day with ConnieandRick enjoying a stroll around this reserve, finding caches including this one as we go. We worked on the calculations together and then we had a go on the play equipment. But ConnieandRick wouldn't let me spin her on the egg. At GZ I was thankful no one was taking any notice of my foraging
Out with TIZ13, this area made for a nice walk at the end of our caching day. We had fun trying some of the play equipment, wow those kids must have great balance.
Pouring rain, windy and freezing cold today. But that didn’t deter me and meant I had the playground to myself. Thanks BernieH, nice multi.
I did the numbers for this cache last year sometime when I had my daughter with me so it wasn’t so weird checking out a park but ran out of time when searching at GZ. Today I made an assault on the caches in Croydon and I found this one. The container is a bit damp as it was put back on its side, but the logbook was dry. Thank you BernieH for placing and maintaining Croydon Park for us to find today.
On a beautiful autumn day, my geoboy has an appt nearby, so I set off to do some multi caches. I am trying to tick off a few challenges in Dunsborough, WA for the June/July holidays. I needed to do 20 more Multi caches. Now 18 as I have done the other one at this oval.
The cache WP1 instructions were clear although i mixed up my numbers in the rush. Didn't have time for Checksums but i took a risk and raced to GZ and made a quick find. I am surprised to be able to do two Multis in less than 1 hr.
Thanks for the cache.

This is a good little multi and a beaut playground too. Lucky for us it’s raining which has kept the kids away and we have the park to ourselves. Numbers were easily obtained, calculations done and we soon had ourselves a new set of coordinates. Appreciate the checksums.
We passed a nice mosaic on our walk to the cache. At GZ we soon found the cache. All is good and dry here. Then we picked up the rubbish in this garden and were in our way.
Appreciate the parking WP too - it sure helped.
Thank you.

Enjoyed a walk around this park today. Great play area. Found GZ at first glance. Thanks BernieH for another reason to get walking.
Another quick multi in this park before I head off to grab the large amount of traditionals nearby. Finding the container at GZ took a moment of trial and error but got there in not too long.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

With some errands to run in Croydon this morning, there was a great opportunity to grab some BernieH caches during our outing. This was a nice playground to visit. My youngest enjoyed exploring while my oldest did the calculations, then it was off to GZ where we made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache BernieH

Finally doing some caching with day1976, the last lot of caching for the year. As I only had an afternoon free, we kept the caching fairly local to my area.
Took a while since we were looking at the north side, not the North side of the hiding place.

This cache was found on an enjoyable day caching with ilukaperi. It would be our last caching day for 2022. Hope to have many more in 2023. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Sorry for the generic log.

Find #13239
Needed a cache for my multi calendar and this was the closest to home. Having done the prepwork in a previous visit, it became a nice quick find today.
Massive thanks go to BernieH for placing this one.

staying at the Dorset Hotel for 8 days, so had plenty of walking in the area to pass the time
how good is geocaching to get you out and about
the weather not the best, as a few days we had floods

Bunadoorian and I had time to spare for a meeting out this way so we stopped to collect a couple of caches. while we walked between caches the cricket team fielding had a better day than the team we watched yesterday as today they took a wicket! We walked to the playground and did the necessary counting. We sat on one of the chair and tables away from the playground to do the calculations and use the checksum. GZ calculated we went for a stroll. I soon found the cache. It was a bit wet inside so we dried it our as best we could. TFTC and for bringing us here BernieH.
I collected the information and Grub62 made the calculations then I had to recheck the figures and the calculations redone. Then off to GZ where Grub62 had the cache in hand in no time. That meant that I was on muggle diversion duty seeing as how the park was very busy. The cache was found with a very wet logbook which Grub62 tried to get dry without getting too much attention. A very pleasant time was had. TFTC.
Today, I stopped here in order to do a multi. Thanks BernieH for the simple multi-cache.
This was a really enjoyable multi. We quickly solved the clues and soon had gz co ords. A short walk around the park lead us to a quick cache find. Thanks BernieH!
Found with PapaGrouch. After buying some lunch we looked for somewhere to stop and eat, this park was chosen. Once we were heading here I realised there were some caches to find which made it even better. We collected the information for this one, and then checked and double-checked until we had it correct. Then we went and made the find. TFTC
Gathered the required clues for a quick find while attending a different geolocation game event. Sunny spring Sunday afternoon. Thanks.
Not too many people at the playground today despite the lovely weather so it didn’t take too long to gather the required information. Fortunately GZ was on the way back to the car AND recent gardening work had tidied up GZ .. the cache was quickly in hand but was still safe from passing muggles. Thanks BernieH for another puzzle ..
I dropped by to complete the other half of the caches in this park this morning. I gathered the info needed and set off to make the find. GZ looked like it had been freshly trimmed so I was initially concerned, but the cache was sitting there safe and well.
Thanks BernieH for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

The plan for the afternoon was find a few caches including a "non Trad" cache for ** The Non-Traditional Calendar Challenge ** which I have now nearly qualified for and end up at the **Pi Approximation Day** event in Mooroolbark... and so I made my way over to Croydon where there was a nice grouping of caches either side of Mt Dandenong Rd.
As finding a "non Trad" cache was critical for challenge qualification, it made sense to start with one... and this one was closest to where I parked. The playground was surprisingly busy so I passed through as quickly as I could making the necessary counts as I went... having my grand daughter in tow would have been a useful disguise.
With GZ calculated... and confirmed by the Checksums... it was off to find the cache. It didn't take long to locate it so I was able to happily sign the log knowing I had met the challenge requirements for today.
Thanks **BernieH** for putting this cache here... fantastic playground but a bit too far out of the way for me to bring my grand daughters here.

Lovely weather for me out for the day. Enjoyed this multi. Thanks BernieH for placing this cache
Well don’t ask how we found this one. We couldn’t get the numbers to work out. The hint said north side so we just started walking to the north and I just spotted it under a bush. Pure Fluke but I am claiming it. TFTC Bernie
Wow. The numbers just don’t make any sense to me with this one. I am not a maths person and just can’t work this one out.
I was looking for 30 mins and can’t find it can someone plz give me another hint or maybe it’s stolen
This park can be crazy in warmer weather so as a 40+ year old man I was pleased to knock this one over on a quiet and chilly afternoon. tftc
Back for another and whilst this took a little more effort what with remaining away from the play area as an unaccompanied male it didn't pose any great difficulty. A bit of maths at the conveniently provided seating and I was on my way.
A brief search yielded the cache.

Put this way today on the way to visit a friend. Really enjoyed the stroll around the park. Great facilities.

Was not convinced of my numbers here. Just couldn’t get E to add up.
Tried my best guess and you guessed it, it was there.
Tried my best guess and you guessed it, it was there.
First multicache for my partner. Fun scavenger hunt around the playground. Beware of muggles in cars.
Arrived this afternoon to find a deserted playground which made for an easy gathering of numbers. Calculated gz and was worried that the newly fenced off area might include the cache. However it was safely outside, and I made quick work of the finding and signing.

Went late last night so the area was free of any people, then a quick count and I had the cache in hand! tftc!
Quick and easy find as dad enjoyed a marginally early finish to his workday. Beat the rain up in the dirty flurry clouds too! TFTC and series BernieH
Came here after work to fill another square on my non-traditional calendar. Loving all these multis BernieH! There were a heap of kids in the playground about to start a parkour lesson. The group was called "Risky Kids Thrive". An awesome philosophy that I wholeheartedly agree with. I believe geocaching has also allowed me and my kids to take sensible risks and we've thrived because of it.
A lovely little quick multi.
Plenty of kids and parents but final in a nice quiet spot.
TFTC… these are very nicely place in beautiful little parks, appreciated

A nice quick multi with a final GZ in a sensible location not too far to travel to. What could be better. The cache was found quickly and easily. Love caching in Croydon.
I wanted to visit the European grocery store in Croydon and decided it was a good opportunity to claim a few caches in the area.
Casually walking past the busy playground yielded all the information I needed to determine the coordinates of the GZ.
Thanks for the cache BernieH

It can be a tad awkward for an old bloke to be counting stuff in a playground when it is in use.
But, I managed without drawing any undue attention to myself.
As for the math I'm ashamed to say I made a complete balls up of my first two attempts but third time lucky! [^]
I stopped at another point of interest on the way through but will leave that for another day.
I'm trying to tick off my multi calendar and this was a day that I needed a find.
With so few multis within easy reach of home, I try to space them out and since I often find myself in this area, the rest can wait for another day.
A very easy find at GZ. Hopefully it stays the distance. The cache was a bit exposed so I replaced it further out of sight.
Thanks BernieH. A great cache!

Poor Crustyvarmint had to suffer my woeful arithmetic with this one, oh dear, he deserves a medal for his patience with me! I enjoy being shown how to do these ones, thanks for the cache BernieH
Although the park was being well used this morning, Redcb and I were able to gather the required information to find this cache, without making ourselves too obvious.
With the calculations completed, it was off to GZ where Lynne quickly had the cache in hand.
Thanks for your work here, BernieH.

With the holidays winding up I convinced Mrs frilk that we really should take the geo-hound for a walk around this area...and grab a few caches on the way.
I was glad to have Mrs frilk and the geo-pooch around whilst I collected the information as the park was well utilised. After some calculations were made...oops incorrect checksum...and remade we headed off to the GZ and a quick find. TNLN. TFTC.

With good weather again Fleabag- and I decided to have another BernieH evening on the scooters, much easier than finding car parks and driving around. Fleabag- has nearly reached 2021 caches for 2021 so I was happy to help him out to encourage him to remain dedicated enough to catch me one day.
Park was surprisingly totally deserted today which was unusual for such a good park. Gathered clues and it sent us not too far away, thanks to the hint I didn't have to spend long looking in an exposed location.
Thanks BernieH for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Spiffy- and I along with geokids and partner came out this way a couple of days back. We made a dent in these new cache hides and so decided tonight on scooters minus geokid and partner we would continue the fun. Plus I needed only another 23 caches to bring my 2021 tally to 2021...
Recall a multi here many years back. This was quickly found today.

Out on a walk this morning, picking up some newer caches in the area. Nice quick find, thanks for the new caches BernieH!
A nice straight forward multi, and as such, I didn't get angry. Now that's the weirdest cow I have ever seen . With the coordinates done the cache was found quickly.
Thanks BernieH

We went the wrong way around the oval, but added to our step count. A pleasure to do this. TFTC!

Out and about with a echidna44 Checking out this lovely park. Picked up the clues, there was a debate about one but soon sorted that out. Love this system of checking now with auto check Nice short walk to an easy find. Continued for a lovely park under these beautiful trees. Thanks BH for bringing me here, congrats
Pleased to head back here again today and find the last of the multi's in this park area. Great place that you have brought us to. GT37 said we will be back with the grandies. Thank you for supplying the check sums and for placing this cache here.
I must say that I found it hard to visit here yesterday and not do this cache at the same time. At least it wasn't far from home so not so bad. Papi4506 is attempting to complete some challenges so these new multi's helped us out a lot. Thank you for placing them for us to find.

I found this cache today on my Monday Morning Croydon Cache Caper IV - The Last Crusade. A nice multi with no ambiguity on the answers and a simple pick up. I was looking forward to using the conveniences, which I had done on my previous two visits but they had been vandalised. The repair man just rocked up as I was on my way back to the car but I was not going to wait. Our 7th find in this park. Thanks from D B-A
I headed out early on a splendid Sunday morning to find a few recent hides, and some long standing placements also.
A few muggles around now, so after doing the sums, I had to wait for an opportunity to retrieve, sign, and replace.

A short walk to the posted coordinates and G&J of GJMMelb and I set to work gathering the required information. Thankfully we could do this quickly and without having to get too close and after comparing notes and checking our calculations we headed off to GZ. J took a short cut so arrived a little before us and we joined the search. I found it in what seemed the most likely hiding place (although there are a few of these here) - I wish that would happen more often! TFTC
We made our to the posted coordinates from Room with a View and collected the required information. There were a few muggles in the playground and we hoped we didn't appear out of place. Calculated the next set of coordinates - only a short walk away ... and another multi nearby. We wondered if would need to retrace our steps for the next one. A short search at the calculated coordinates revealed the cache. We collected a pathtag (thanks Bernie), signed the log and replaced as found. We were a little surprised to see that we were only the second to find. Thanks to BernieH for the cache.

After a long day at work I came home expecting to have a quick nap, however, 5mins after I got inside I looked at my phone and saw 6 new caches had popped up less than ten minutes ago! I started to get ready to jump in the car and as I did my sister arrived with my little nephew. I asked if she had plans for the evening and she said she was thinking about heading to Costco. Well, I love a good Costco trip and Ringwood is right next to Croydon so I suggested we go together and attempt a FTF on the way.
My brother arrived home soon after that and we asked if he wanted to come for the adventure too, he was keen and after feeding the baby quickly we jumped in the car for the half an hour drive. Knowing that there are some FTF hounds in this area that I've met at previous finds I figured that the Multi was our best chance of achieving the goal.
As we pulled up next to WP1 I was surprised to find that the FTF was still available. Out of the car we hopped and headed to the playground for some counting. Seeing no obvious signs of geocachers nearby we fit in a quick swing on the swing set for my nephew before heading to GZ. Once there we had a bit of a look around and soon had our hands on a fresh log, what a beautiful sight! We took one of the pathtags and left the other for the next person to find it. Thanks BernieH!
After that fun it was time to head to the wonderful land of Costco, where everything is oversized and you walk away with completely random items. Today's oddest item was a giant light-up snowman that was half price due to being a display item He looks great out the front of our house, now it's time to find a name for him!
Thanks for the fun BernieH!
