Seems this troll has done awol. Lots of leaves and sticks which have been washed into the space of the bridge which Obi did begin to sift through. Obi and myself felt we were in the right spot from past pictures but found nothing. Nice view of the river on a cool day. Will come back again to do once owner has done maintenance.

06-Jan-24
Did a thorough search based on previous logs, but to no avail. Potentially got washed away in the rains.

Found it. Good cache. TFTC

07-Jul-23
Not sure if this indicates cache has been taken or just me failing to see what is there to be found!

07-May-23
We are as blind as bats. It took us forever to find when it was hiding in plain sight. TFTC

The wheel of challenge has set me on the desire of being sure to get 100 caches this month. I decided to use a part of the Redlands cycle way to get close to 20 caches today. So Mr 10 and I set off on our bikes.

We tried, in both directions of the ride and Mr 10 even got down low on his tummy (after scaring away a water rat! Eek)

28-Feb-23
Best spot of the lot along this path.

A network of bridges over a trickling stream. Picked the right spot to search first up. Grabbed at something beneath to discover it was only a discarded bong. Moved in a bit further and found the cache. Really had to rely on feel to replace this one.

TFTC!

Unfortunately we had to admit a DNF here. I’m sure the cache is still there and it was just too hot and my wife didn’t want me getting wet. Thanks anyway we will back to avenge

22-Dec-22
Quick trip to the Redlands to visit some friends before Christmas. Spotted this trail so decided to find some caches along it before some lunch and last minute shopping. Will be back in the New Year to find some more. Nice hide, TFTC.

25-Sep-22
Have replaced this one now that the bridge work is completed. It’s now a bit of a troll.

28-Aug-22
Took a look around and agree this is missing after recent works in the area.
Will watch and return another day.

27-Aug-22
Came past to check out the new bridge and check on the cache and it is definitely gone from its spot we last found it in

18-Aug-22
The bridge has just had a lot of work done to it,and there has been some earth work done close by . Sorry to say we spent some time looking for the cache.. Pretty sore it's gone.

Brisbane, we have now set up camp at Thornside for a few days. Visiting the area to catch up with family & also to do some caching.
We chose this biketrail as Bill loves to ride his bike while I walked a few.
Can't say this is an easy trail as there are many micros hanging in trees which took some time to spot. On the plus side the co-ords were good & some very helpful hints. The DT seemed to be low on this series.
Thankyou Oddiewan for placing this cache.

20-Mar-22
You shall not pass! Luckily it didn’t get washed away

18-Mar-22
Found it. New log would be handy

15-Mar-22
We really thought this one may not have survived the flood waters, however it was safe and dry and exactly where it should be. If it has been underwater, it is certainly totally dry now.
Thanks Oddiewan.

My first geocache of the new year! Nice walk while it is lightly raining. The sound of the rain on leaves and the trickling water into the stream makes this a lovely spot. The cache is all good. TFTC Oddiewan!

After joining an enthusiastic group of cyclists to explore the trails around the area this rainy morning, four of us continued on to find a few more, including this one. We enjoyed the variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward, and most were quick finds thanks to the many cachers that we ride with. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space.
TFTC, Oddiewan. =^.^=

Joined an enthusiastic group of cyclists to make the run through the trails here, stopping every so often to take a wander into the bush or ponder a structure. A great variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward. Thankful that many eyes made short work of the hunting in most instances and that the rain kindly stayed away. All up we rode 30km today, signing logs RRG to save space. TFTC Oddiewan

I ride Scribbly Gums usually every second month so I have been cruising ride past a few of these caches on a couple of occasions. With the New Year fast approaching I decided to test the water on whether a few like minded geocyclists would like to complete the trail.

Now the weather was not looking good but as the ride leader i was duty bound to turn up. Right on cue at the designated start time the rain cleared and a group of many set off to clear the Cycling trail to Redlands.

We set off from Scribbly Gums heading East and then back West to collect caches. After the final western Cycle trail cache four of us pushed on to seek additional caches.

ruzzelz raining (not) ride group all had a great morning on 2 wheels including a diversion to Alex Hill shops for a group session at the coffee shop.

This morning, I joined Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) with a morning of finding the *Cycling the Redlands* geocaches series. The rain had magically disappeared from the start of our ride, and it was an enjoyable group session. I then managed to target a few older geocaches in the area before heading home.
In the afternoon, jesswrigley and I headed out and took a walk along Enoggera Creek in The Gap, finding a few of the *On Your Bike* series frm #11 to #6. Again, the rain stayed away long enough to have a decent walk along this stretch whilst passing by many muggles similarly enjoying the afternoon.

Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) consisted of bedmakerTG, DisSister, eatmorchikin, JQTB, La Kedi, nikid1, TaxisVW and DrPam, and teamdfl, as well as our esteemed leader Ruzzelz. Meeting at Scribbly Gums, we rode to the eastern end of the trail, with the plan to ride west and collect the caches in the series. We took a coffee break in the middle of the series at the nearby Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre, as well as a few miscellaneous geocaches that we encountered along the way. In total, we rode an approximate distance of 20 km.

We stopped off at this geocache, and it wasn't too long until we managed to make the cache find reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and we signed as *RRG* / *RR* to preserve space in the logbook. Thanks Oddiewan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

That is a yes from me. Had a rather nice Superlight, known as Little Red, for a few years. Big Grin

Found with a large group of crazy pedalers today. Logs all signed RRG for the group. I don't think I actually found any of the caches myself. I was close at a few, and added our team log to some. Many I did not get near as the group often made for quick finding.

Thanks for the series and the effort to put out so many caches.

28-Dec-21
A call was put out on Facebook to join up for a bike ride and do this series. Still with a few days of rec leave left I couldn’t refuse. We arrived at the meeting point to steady rain and we’re discussing doing coffee first to wait it out but as our starting time of 7 approached the skies cleared and off we went.
In all we did 20km of riding (we did have to detour off the track for a coffee break)
Logs signed as RRG to save on log space.
Nice quick find here.
TFTC Oddiewan for putting out this series.

Making my way through these at a 's pace and thoroughly enjoying them.
The hints take the work out of them. The good coordinates help too:)
I liked the clue here as it meant I could walk straight to cache.
In a few minutes I was on my way again after signing log and replacing cache as found.
Thanks Oddiewan

Out on a bike ride this morning with chamad tackling the new bike series, along with a couple of others along the way.
A great variety of hides in the series, some very clever ideas among them.
Thanks Oddiewan for the great series. Putting an FP on this as I appreciate the effort which has gone into putting this series together.

A morning of caching with willis007 and a day for a leisurely Sunday bike ride. A ride from Capalaba to Cleveland enjoying the recent trail of caches on the bikeway. A nice variety of caches, some very tricky hides and some not so hard. It was a fun morning and by the end of the trail, we were done. We were planning on another ride further afield, but we were feeling a little lethargic from the heat and the humidity and called it a day. We still managed to grab a couple of the older caches in the area on our around and towards home. We were happy with our haul today, we got to take it easy and enjoy the caches and the surrounds.

This was the next in the run of caches along this trail. This one was an easy find the hint says it all. Thanks for the hide and with the log signed and cache replaced as found, it was onto the next one.

A quick trip to the chemist in Cleveland and couldn't go straight home as I hadn't found a couple of nearby caches. Parked the car near the entrance of the bike way and made a quick walk to the cache and soon had it in hand and signing the log. Log signed and cache ache replaced as found. TFTC

I have never cycled in my life and I would not know a crankarm from a fork so I will be doing the series using Shanks Pony ( I know how to control that). and the air conditioned comfort of the geomobile.

It was now time to hit the trail to find a few. on the hoof. The hiding spot was obvious as I approached. I leant my hiking pole against the hide and signed the log and then walked off and forgot it until I had found the next few caches and retrieved it on my return journey.

A nice quick find here.

I noticed these new caches yesterday afternoon and assumed they’d be found before now. But when I woke up and saw that they hadn’t been found, I decided to head over for a bike ride before work.

I pulled up right next to this one for a quick find. Thanks for the cache
