Back on holidays chasing the sun, travelling around and collecting a few caches on our way. Our first day in Tom Price and we headed out to Hamersley Gorge. A favourite spot now for the kids who are eager to return after exploring the area and having a full day of swimming and enjoying nature. We enjoyed looking at the gorge and the rock formations learning something new especially after commenting on the wave formations on the rocks at Mt Nameless this morning we have more awareness of how this occurs thanks to this earthcache. Our answers have been sent. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of holiday.

Wow this gorge is amazing. I was expecting a gorge similar to all the others in Karajini. But it is different with all the folding. It looked like there was a anticline and syncline onee above each other. Not sure how that is even possible. We clearly saved the best for last. We are camped at Buddha's freecamp and rode our bikes twice that is how much we enjoyed it.Thanks for putting this cache together in such a great spot

Another great spot for an EC, we enjoyed exploring the area and even climbing over the spa pool to explore more of the fortescue river behind the spa pool. Still quite cold in the water.

Add FP - a place crying out for an EarthCache (or two)

Lovely place with excellent swimming. Amazing rock formations at the gorge. I wonder how much force you need to warp rock like that...
