Thanks for the cashe! Be prepared to crawl in a bush! Also went with Ethangaming553. TFTC!- MaxGamingood
Geocaching at night, forgot the head torch, but the hint and gps position spot on, so found it. Tftc.
Up in Auckland for a day with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. Arrived at GZ and after a short walk around the cache was located. Signed and put back. Thank you for the placement.
Up in Auckland dropping the children off at Nanas for the week. Quick find here.
Forgot to bring a pen. It was a rlly tricky find if you dont know what youre looking for, but if u do its quite easy. Some people stared at us like we were trying to pee in the bush but it was all worth it!
No idea what TOTT is or whether I used it or not! But found the cache, all good.
Thanks
Thanks
vanished in to the bushes, quickly spotted the hint item, log signed, emerged from bushes
Wasn't too sure about this one until I just dived in and after pushing past a few plants, there it was in front of me. Found with Jagersmum. TFTC!!!
Easy find
Log book slightly wet but we did have a cyclone recently so hope it dries up by itself!

We are caching with Team Welsh this morning trying to boost our Found numbers for this date. The Parks & Recreation series that neither of us had done previously was a big factor in bringing us to Howick. Closing in on GZ we could see no sign of the hint item, but Team Welsh ducked into the bushes and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.
Tftc. Early morning Sunday and still avoiding traffic. Well hidden by luscious foliage.
Kiwicouple and I were out this way as it was cache rich for both of us. We targeted the ones that had recent finds as some of them appear to be missing and we didn't want to spend too long hunting for something that was no longer here. Mixed success but this was one we managed to find. The log book was very wet as noted in previous logs so I hope it was ok with the CO but I had a spare so replaced it with a dry one. TFTC
A nice afternoon to come for a walk and collect a few more caches. Parked up nearby and made our way over to GZ. Struggled a little to find this one which was worrying us as there were plenty of logs claiming it to be an easy find. Got there in the end. Not sure how we missed this to begin with perhaps our early morning start.Have always liked this park. Thanks for placing here.
Didn’t take too long to locate this one. Just grabbing a few last caches before making our way south and home. Tftc
Had a weekend in Auckland so grabbing caches on the way home. Cool spot. Tftc
out with alunb and agazo today, a day out means we all get to do the dirty bit at some stage, this time it was alunb, tftc
To wet to write on, but a nice little geocache to look for. Dig in deeper to find it
Really fun to find and was looking in the wrong place for a while! Didnt expect it to be where it was
Coming home from a run, dark and cold, but thought it would be good to clear another local one. Had to time it between cars, then slip into the foliage. Quite cosy in here, and wondering what excuse to use if someone came to find out what was going on. Fortunately a quick find, and a quick exit between cars. Heading home for a real steak. TFTC
Out walking and unable to walk past caches without having a search. Thanks for this one too.

found but forgot a pen. Probbaly looked suspicious trying to find it as traffic was busy Lol
We are so pleased to finally complete this series after finding most of them shortly after they were published, even getting FTF on a few.. But this one proved elusive at the time and we searched for it when there was a lot of traffic so decided to leave it for a quieter time.
The months passed and it remained in the back of our minds but we never got around to a return visit, even when we saw the coordinates had been updated.
Today was a dot day and we finally decided this would be a good day to return although we forgot about coming back at a quiet time and turned up at rush hour.
The passing cars probably wondered what we were up to but fortunately we could keep out of sight most of the time.
The updated coordinates led us to a much more logical spot and we made a reasonably quick find after a bit of crawling around.
As previous finders have said, the log is too wet to sign but we managed a small scribble and have also taken a photo of the cache.
Thanks Philbirdboys for this great series.

Went in, stooped down to hknt level ans saw cache immediately.
Log is quite wet from cyclone Dovi and couldnt be unrolled without tearing the log apart. So I didn't sign.

Had plans to meet up with a group of cachers to kayak across to Brown's Island from Bucklands Beach. Well, this plan was scarpered the night before as strong winds were forecast for the next day. A couple of us still decided to meet at 6am and go caching in the area. First, Gorby, tramyard and I went for breakfast in Howick and made a plan to target this Parks & Recreation series in the area.
Last one for the day and tramyard was the one to do the honours of going to find the cache.

Fund it with company of Aiden29 and Gorby. The plan was to paddle Browns Island but the wind was too strong so we ended up in Howick to grab some hides instead.
Thanks for the placement.
Last one for the day.
P.S. Ready the Gorby`s story to find out more

A group of us were supposed to be heading over to Brown’s Island at 6am in our kayaks, Georick, tramyard, Aiden29, Jard1037, Rebel98, rustynz and myself. But the weather was terrible and the winds were hovering around 28km/hr. No way was this going to happen.
Nevertheless I still went to near top end of Buckland’s beach at 6am, Aiden was right behind me and tramyard was already there. But still it was a no go, too choppy. So we stood around and yakked and decided to head over to Eastern beach and pick up a WP for Life’s a Beach – NZ Mega ad lab. Then we would head into Howick to a fav café of mine that makes excellent omelettes. A good plan. While there at the café we decided on doing this C.O’s series of caches.
Our last cache for the day, we have done a fair few, enough for now. We never intended to be caching on the main-land today. After this, Aiden dropped me and tramyard back to our vehicles and we departed. Tramyard found the elusive stake, it was rather well hidden I say! Thanks Philbirdboys for the caches today, a FP here for your efforts.
