Logs
Looked for a bit, couldn't find it, muggles around, decided to leave it for now.
A nice quick find and signed on the brand new log sheet. Found with Jagersmum. TFTC!!!
Checked series of caches today and this one has sadly gone. We have replaced with a black pill bottle and new log
I found the cache and put the cache back with a hot wheels car and that was a cool cache. I am sad if it is not there
This cache has a list of cachers noting they have swapped what was there for something else, I think they are new to the game and maybe mistaking the practise of swapping painted rocks with geocaching. There was nothing to be found at the coords that we could see, would love to know if it is still there.
It was hard to find at first, but really fun to look for! I left a small gem stone there for the next finder
Another night run, another local find. Very dry crackly leaves, and an open garage and voices very nearby, not a place to be found snooping around. Quickly found, withdrew to sign, then sneaked back to rehide. All good here, happy to be moving on. TFTC
Visiting in the area and interupted my morning walk to pick up a cache or two. Found this after a short search. Thanks for the cache.

Third find of the evening and the quickest, pretty much went straight to it. One person on one side of the tree one on the other. D spotted it from his side and instructed C where to move her hand to reach it. Did this purely for a laugh as C is rubbish with left and rights! TFTC.
Out for a final walk of 2021 so headed in this direction to grab this cache. Was well hidden so pleased to get there in the end. Nice big park. TFTC
All these parks in Auckland that are hidden little gems for our Tamariki, good to see they are now being used

My aunty use to live out this way so it was a familiar area for me. A quick find here as we spotted it on approach
Heading out on a girls caching day with Supernannny, Merlot58 and Nette1234 during COVID-19 lockdown level 3.2. With 4 sets of eyes, it didn't take long to find this cache. TFTC
This was our last find for the day, time for a cold drink at home. quick find in the hint location. TFTC!
Thanks for all these new caches Philbirdboys....We really enjoyed travelling around getting them all today .
No problems here.
No problems here.
What a lovely little park, we have never been here before.
We walked across from the main road and there was no one around but as we approached GZ a dog started barking as if on cue. We are starting to think this series should be called “Parks, Recreation and Dogs” as we seem to keep encountering them.
The barking didn’t subside and we almost decided to come back another time but suddenly spotted the cache.
As we signed the log the dogs owner was desperately trying to get it to settle down and fortunately it did, but the log was quickly signed and the cache re-hidden before it started again.
TFTC.

After Recently we have been enjoying speeding around (no, not over the limit!) to attempt some of the F’s, S’s and T’s (that is FTF, STF, TTF) of the nearby caches.
Today some more had been published, which we could not FTF as we were too slow (or others had teleportation devices…) but it was a different story here!
Had just arrived home from a long day out enjoying the trails of Whitford/Maraetai and a nice leisurely stroll along Pine Harbour when the iPad pinged and yup, a new FTF.
We made the decision to hop back in the car and race off to this one - however the fact it was published a whole 20 minutes ago (which is, well, quite a while in the Geocaching world!) we were doubting an FTF here.
After a lot of directing - right here, 200m away, 3rd exit… we finally got to GZ’s parking and jumped out.
A few people passed by but we remained as stealthy as we could!
Sadly I read out ‘head height’ as the hint instead of ‘thigh height’… (whoops) which had us stumped for a while until we found it.
To our surprise, the log was completely blank (only had that 2 times…) so yes, our 3rd FTF!
Thank you for this series - gosh I wonder how many more will be popping up…

**NZ Mega 2020 is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:**
• 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
• 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
• All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of this event - you won't want to miss it!
