The hint certainly helped here and it was soon in hand . Finally catching up with all the Tasmanian caches although it is rather late I caught the bus- red Tiger free bus up as far as Ockerby reserve and then wandered my way back down to town passing this and others on the way . thank you for this cache although i did get rather dirty hands here.
hi j_booth67,Thanks for the cache. After a short wander down a street I've never visited before we I quickly found the cache, then moved away to sign. One minute later, I'd replaced the cache and was back in the car.Found - after walking parkrun with my Bro then family brunch - during a quick overnighter from Hobart with pharmaAl to visit family.Cheers,EPs
Came to Sporties to watch the Chelsea friendly... those less keen on the soccer picked up this cache. No swaps much at present so bring some spares if you can. TFTC.

Took a final stroll through Launceston this afternoon before our departure tomorrow morning for Melbourne. Was abld to grab up a few more finds along the way.
Today we further explored our back yard and finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that has been published since our last visit. A quick find at GZ.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.
On a drive around the area clearing off some off the map, a quick find but parking was a bit annoying. TFTC
Found it from King St. A good cache for newbies. We'll done. TFTC from a touring cyclist from Brisbane.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Meanandering about on some of these country roads and took a slight detour for a few hides in town. An easy enough find at GZ.Thanks j_booth67 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
I was away for work this week and while up in Launy had a chance to meet up with TazScout as I hadn't seen them in ages, it was nice to catch up and find a few caches together, 7 years ago along with gooseandegg we all walked Dooley's trail together.Found on 18/01/2024 at 21:57:00 thanks to j_booth67 for placing this cache for me to find. Found it! Bit of rubbish in the area but overall an easy find for the small container
This one needs a look. The wall at GZ is half fallen down and any touch could cause the wall to fall on someone.
Interesting that this has been found today, because there is just alot of rubbish here and a dangerous wall. I poked around carefully and found it and there no log inside, let alone anyone signing anything. Piece of paper inside, but I am not doing further maintenance on this due to the wall being so dangerous that the cache is against.
Recent reports of damaged cache. The cache was replaced with a black container with swaps. It appears the old cache that had disappeared has resurfaced, this can be disregarded. Ill check on it soon and confirm it is okay and remove the old one myself.
We had a burger nearby for dinner before heading back to Hobart and budgie said this cache was just around the corner. I found the container base and a mushed up logsheet. I took a photo a there was nothing to actually sign. Sorry j_booth67, we didn't have anything with us to fix it up.TFTC
Located with Ricardinho A quick find, but the camouflage was lacking so we rectified that Day 12 of our Tassie/Sydney trip, and today is Launceston & exploring the Cataract Gorge.Weather wasn't really playing ball in the morning but we didn't let it stop us & up side was a few less people at the Gorge The scenery is beautiful here even on an overcast rainy day & the sun did occasionally sneak out too After lunch we explored city park & I enjoyed the monkeys And last outing of the day was a quiet walk around city streets admiring all the beautifully maintained old homes while RNZ sorted the church caches he'd solved the day before.Another awesome day in Tassie TFTC
A quick find here today because it was uncovered. We signed the log and covered it up a bit better when done. TFTC j booth.Day 12 of our Tassie trip, and today is Launceston. We didnt have the best of weather this morning, but this is our only full day in the town and we have to make the most of it, so we were off to Cataract Gorge for starters. We sifted around there enjoying the scenery and wildlife, scraping together enough info for some earthcaches and visiting an oldie just up the track a bit.The afternoon fined up a bit, so we explored some inner city parks before going for an afternoon walk to nut out church micros and look at old houses, something close to RG72s heart.Another great day, loving exploring this state.
Quick and easy find. Enjoying the wandering launceston adventure. Thanks for the hide
A day in Launceston for a work meeting which wasnt scheduled until 12.30. After visiting a few of our sites and fixing a couple of computer things up, I still had an hour to kill before the meeting. Decided to grab a few caches in this hour and this was one of them. Tftc. Cool place for a cache.
What n Launceston to drop off a family member at the near by GP clinic, this was the closest unfound so walked to this one, a quiet area in the middle of the day, 2 caches here but signed the newer, also not sure why someone left airpods in the cache.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
I love early morning caching. In tow for work, combine that with newish aero. Win win. TFTC
Cache has been replaced. Now has swaps. Own pen is required because I couldn’t find one to fit the cache.
Found a small white medicine container with note package in. Very damaged or a dummy
Cache is being replaced this weekend (fingers crossed) I’m aware it’s water logged, I have a waterproof replacement that will allow for swaps too.
Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
Todays adventure started with a sunrise walk around The Nut in Stanley before a road trip to Launceston via some country stops.
While sitting at dinner I realised there was a cache beside my hotel accommodation. I stopped by the cache after dinner and discovered a soggy log and attempted my signature.
Thanks j_booth67 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

After a short walk down from LGH, I wandered down to find this cache.
And I found it very quickly. Unfortunately the cache was half full of water and the log dripping. I carefully signed with a pencil but the cache really needs some maintenance done on it. Thanks for the find!

Noted that this requires some maintenance. Think the container needs rethinking. Will replace both container and log soon!
Another quick detour on the way home tonight to grab this cache.
I used to live in a King Street when I was in Western Australia . It was a lot wider then this little lane way.

Found this one. Closest to our Airbnb while staying in this lovely town. The cache is soaked and unable to sign the log. Photo as evidence of the find TFTC
Having come to Ltn for Brixabition and staying a a pub nearby a quick trip to the cache was had and found easily. Cache was full of water but the log was dry so signed and got the smiley. Tftc
At first when I found it I thought it was medicine but then we found a photo great find!
While staying in Launceston we headed out to find 10 caches to start off this month's souvenir requirements. It was not a good start as we only found 5 and luckily this was one we found. TFTC
