Logs
At the beginning of my caching career, GreenGecko1 laid out an agenda of caching each capital city. I'm happy to report 6 states down and only one to go.This weekend was our allocated visit time, unfortunately it arrived on the back of the recent Dunedin Mega epic.Arriving in town Thursday night at 11pm, we grabbed our hire car and set off. This one is a very tricky and a little surprised we had a find here.Caches signed as either Muggle65 or M65.
Searched all around the railings given the hint was magnetic but now luck, did miss sunset though so will be back when there's more light!
Unfortunately people are not very clever and do not know how to put a lid on a container.Do not be like them. Be smart. Respect every cache and every cache owner. That way you get more caches in action for you to find.
Cache has been destroyed. Found the magnetic bit. Wow. People are so lazy. Like, put the lid back on. Its so simple. Have left this bit behind the rock at the bottom of the 13th pole and have covered it up with rocks. So disappointed. I was really hoping to find another one similar to 7.15, but I guess lazy people got to this one.
DNF. Weird bc theres a lot of stuff about rocks and then the hint is magnetic. The last time this cache was found was the 30th of December so I was skeptical this would would be here as soon as I arrived.
This was the Journey of DCell cache. It required extra time, careful mind, good eye sight and some luck to get the cache. Thanks DCell for regular maintenance.
No luck today. We checked the activity log and had been looking in all the right places, but no dice. Perhaps muggled?
Turned over just about all the rocks in the park and no luck hopefully not muggled but definitely upgraded from a 1.5
The cache has been replaced and back in play. Please respect the :-cache by not damaging it and by replacing exactly as found-the CO who spends their own time and money creating interesting hides AND would prefer to be making new ones rather than repairing existing caches-other geocache hunters who would like to find this undamaged and where it should be.
Why do geocache hunters damage and destroy the things that they enjoy hunting for? This was not damaged by muggles.
Found muggled again but all parts there luckily. The lids thread is damaged so replaced carefully to keep the log dry. Walked to the top to see the view but the trees have blocked most of it.Stood on the bench to take pic.
____akluger and I (the "Laneway Reviewers") out to grab some finds. TFTC DCell!
How hard can it be to put a lid on a container?
PLEASE whenever you find a cache, respect it, replace the log sheet properly, put on lid, place it back as found.
This cache was found without a lid on. The log sheet was found elsewhere.
Another cache that I have had to maintain this week

We found the paper but couldn’t find the actual geocache. One of our fellow geocachers confirmed that the box wasn’t where it was supposed to be; she had found it before we tried to. We hope that everything can be sorted out! TFTC (kinda)!
I've there a long time ago as an old cache. Enjoyed walk along to GZ and short search. Find it and sign the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hunt.
First time I didn’t find it. Second time I found it with the help of some logs before. But it was open on the ground and had to search for the logbook which was two metres away from the box. So, please close the box well and put it back to the save place.
Thanks al lot for this well done cache which isn’t easy to find

Out and about for a nice bike ride today around the Scarborough area picking up caches. Nice quick find here TFTC
My new favourite cache, very well hidden and I took us a while to figure out the clue tftc
Enjoying the cooler weather and the hunt around here . All good here . Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for others to find , tftc
Parked up the top and slowly made our way down, deciphered the hint and figured out where we needed to search.
Once that was established the right angle was needed to spot the cache before making our way back to the cars.

After having so much fun hunting for caches in the City Beach area last Tuesday night in the rain decided to head back that way this evening in the finer weather.
With my usual accomplice unavailable I met up with Meme28 & Burns345 for the evenings fun.
We all had luck finding the caches at different times and by the time I started the journey home we had collected 10 finds and 2 DNF’s.

Thanks DCell for placing 13 up then down for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 21:19 on 3/5/2022.
This is find number 4523 for me.

Night caching with B345 and C_WA. We cottoned on to the name of the cache here! Found and logged
A nice quick find here, thank you for the cache DCell. Another great camouflaged hide!
No joy. Second DNF of the afternoon. PAF, my logic was correct but the cupboard was bare.
We spent way too long here to no avail. Must be very well camo'd. Searched up then down and all around.
Find 7 of 10 on a short loop around Wembley Downs area on this palindromic date.
Had the cache is hand very quickly but discarded more than once before returning and signing the log. Sneaky

Went for a quick cache with cmb212 in the evening to try and keep daily find streaks alive. Wasn’t easy in the dark, also weren’t sure what we were looking at but glad we persevered! Seemed to strange not to!
Thanks for the cache

Out and about attending to some chores and picking up caches as we drove passed. TFTC.
Out with B12, C10 and Leg5 mopping up a number of caches published during the course of the day, while we were all either at work or out of town.
Quick find this evening. God knows how I didn’t locate this last time. I must’ve almost run my hand over it. Cheers DCell!

Met up with Cravo & Barney at cockburn, drove to newly published caches. Lachlan went straight to first hide where we found the first hide, then plotted our hit list order. Enjoyed a variety of hides.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Embarrassingly I must have miscounted! I’ve found a cache a few metres further up this steep path previously. Thanks for the cache.
The camo got us at first we thought perhaps we just found something by accident till we realised it was in fact the cache. Good one thanks
