I dont know what had happened to Mrs Woodyrothwell because I had watched her going downhill since we left Kingaroy this morning. The little petite cough she had started with was turning into a full on guard dog bark. I think she was very happy when the cache was on my side of the car and I was the one to get out and look for it. tftc

I am heading north to Biggenden one last time.As always, I allow some time to find a few geocaches along the way. After heading down Black Snake road for a few km's to find a few caches I turned around and headed north again. Now to find the remaining caches along this road that I have not found on previous visits. I found this cache after a short search. All is well. Thanks for the cache.

After spending the night in town and dining out at the local pub it was time to get out and do colorectal the local area. I am working on a local challenge at home that requires cache numbers in Local government areas and so I need another 80 or so in the Gympie area.This area is rich with caches so off I go. Arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and off I go. I quickly found ground zero and located the cache. After extracting the log and making my mark I quickly returned to the geo wagon in search of my next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers

Today, I embarked on a camping trip to this beautiful area and decided to make a quick stop for some geocaching fun. The Cache was our target, and it's truly a convenient find for those passing by. The coordinates were right on the mark, and within moments, we spotted the cache container.

Heading for Gayndah and starting caching at Kilkivan. Don't normally do drive by caching. It is just not my thing. I don't mind if they are well spaced. Many of these were much more difficult than the DT ratings suggested. I suspect placed in the dry years while now it is waist high grass in most places.

Today, it stormed , it showered, and at times, it was flaming hot sun. Sometime at the more time-consuming caches, it was all of that.

On holidays at Hervey Bay and arranged to meet YOF down this way to tackle a few. TFTC

Time to come back to this area on a Maintainence run and also to find caches still for me to locate and log. Left Bargara at 4am so that I could fit everything I wanted to do whilst down this way into a hectic day. Short stop in biggenden on the way home to visit CO and to place some more hides foe his upcoming New Years event. Arrived back home at 1830.

Another day in Kilkivan. We were going to have an easier day but as usual, it didn't work out that way. We changed plans along the way which was a bonus and headed towards Tansey. Then we decided to drive a loop and headed off to Goomeri. Having no lunch with us we stopped in Goomeri to see what we could find. A lovely older small town with some amazing old buildings and a fantastic bakery. Great coffee, but the pies are up there with Mataranka pies. Excellent. We then headed out to Kinbombi Creek Gorge and Falls another unexpected find. We only headed out because there were caches there, but what a bonus. Well worth the diversion.
We then returned to camp a Kilkivan.
Lots of really good sized caches in good condition.

In the area today and decided to pick up a few caches and this was one of them. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and after signing the log all was returned as found.

After finding the four caches up Threlkeld Road then having coffee in Kilkivan, we set off along the Tansey Road for these new hides. Good hint and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Sweet-Sour

We are doing the run of caches along this road and this is one we found. Good place to pull over and cache was found with the hint. Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks Sweet-Sour for placing these ones.

I’ve come up here to try and qualify for a crazy Challenge Cache in Cunnamulla… Forward planning, I’m driving L’DeVine, so hopefully no busted tyres today…

I’m still on the phone, and made a declaration of where I thought the cache would be from some distance… and there it was… score… tftc…

1MinnieMoo, Pprime, and I were heading west and decided to pop in and grab this little FTF.

I was ever wary of the rare "brown snake" but thankfully none were encountered while en route. After a bit of a look at GZ, I spotted the prize and pointed it out to Pprime - who took care of business retrieving.

**FTF** with Fangsoki and Pprime.
The boys and I had journeyed to Kilkivan for Sweet-Sour’s event. Arriving there we were presented with the options of a number of FTFs. Now this really hurt me, as I don’t mind chasing FTFs however I am trying desperately NOT to grab extra caches at the moment in the lead up to an up and coming milestone.
But I couldn’t completely pass up the opportunity, so we decided we would go for just one of the ones out here today. And this was the chosen one, as it was only a short detour on our journey, and was a safe enough terrain for me to attempt whilst in recovery mode.
We pulled up as another car zipped by, and made our way to GZ where there were any number of spots a cache could hide… or an unsuspecting snake, tho Pprime had his “snake stick” for added security. But then we saw it, the definite hide location and with the excitement, we managed to startle a poor tawny frogmouth who flew out of his tree in a sleepy drunken-like stupor to find another location.
But we had the cache! And with logged signed and one FTF claimed, we were happy to continue our journey.
…. Although those other FTFs sitting there are still haunting me!
