The seat was unoccupied, so I took advantage and used it for sighting the beach and signing the log. Lovely shell arm rests!
A beautiful place to sit and log a cache. We stayed just up the road for the night and thought a walk along the shore was called for on a beautiful sunny morning. Thanks gmj3191 for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment. #2478
This one took a while to find but finally found it! Really cute swaps in there! TFTC
Nice spot! Was super windy when I found it but imagine this area on a calm day is amazing
A few days in and around Melbourne. As part of this we also visit Phillip Island. There is a lot to see and experience here. Many animals live here and so we visit bird parks, wildlife parks, koalas, penguins and seals.Walk nature trails into the bushland and enjoy the sea and the bay. We had an great time on the Island, but now we drive back to Melbourne. Here we made an Stop to this cache. We Was able to found and log it.Many thanks to the owner who looks after and maintains these cans and greetings from the Moorhelmi
A beautiful afternoon for geocaching. Got a park nearby and had the area to ourselves for the search. A good sized container to spot. TFTC.
Great spot. Cache is in good condition. Signed with byo pen.We walked from Sandringham along the beach path on this lovely sunny day. Cheers!
I really need to get over this side of Melbourne more often. What a beautiful day today Cache is in great condition. Thanks for the hide
A lovely view and a very cool cache! Geodog Hondo very tired, and geokadude very hyped for sunset. Swapped a coin, and left another lil sea creature there too. TFTC
I'm honestly not sure whether I'm going to find a sufficient number of caches before the end of the promotional period on 01.09.24 but I'm going to take a serious crack at it. I thought I'd target some local caches today. This was the third of the day. A beautiful spot. You were very lucky to have that within your 5km zone.
Discovered this cache was here while getting my fix of Jazz at The Brighton Hotel.Took a little longer than it should have. Found with the help of the clue.
After sticking our heads in the bushes to look over the wall, it turned out to be a bit higher up than we envisaged! Contents nice and dry, container is still held securely in place by pre-existing hardware. Tftc!
Day trip to Melbourne with my fav Bogonghazy. Ticking off a few caches for the day before going to see Missy Higgins. Thanks gmj319 ffor placing the geocache. Nice easy find
Down to Melbourne to see Missy Higgins with LittleBoss2, we were able to grab a few caches while here. This one had us searching around before LB2 made the call. Thanks gmj
While in the vicinity after a 6:45am event at the Brighton pier we took advantage to being in this area to find a few caches at this location. This was the third. It was found quite quickly thanks to the hint. Thanks for this addition to our geocaching fun gmj3191.
Great camo, and having a previous finder with us made for a quick found it, otherwise we could have been here for a while. Thanks for the fun
I found this cache today on my Mega Walk #19 - a 23,000 step walk firstly around Hampton and Brighton, then around St Kilda East and finally South Melbourne. My final cache in this section of the hunt. I often struggle in this type of beachside scrub, so I used the hint, which made sense. After trying at three or four spots, I soon had the cache in hand. Now it is off to the Brighton Beach Station and up to Balaclava Station for part two. Thanks from D B-A
Found by caughtatwork on 28/04/2024 at 3:05:00 PMA quick find at a nice location to geocache.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1
Rated: for Overall Experience
3 for 3 today as I borrowed a pen from a lady who operates an ice cream van. Now I'm off to see the Brighton Bathing Boxes for the first time.
Down at the Brighton Baths catching up with friends and the subject of caching came up. The nearest handy I found one to show them was this so off we went on a 1.8km walk. For some reason the ph gps stopped updating for a couple of mins about 150m out so had to locate with clue and satellite map. - more to come. Battery going flat.
The largest bison tube I think I've ever seen! After poking a bit around the bush, I saw the bison hanging there. Log was signed not a moment later. TFTC!
Nice quick find on the way to our second week of performances in Mordialloc. Tftc
It's time for another Friday evening caching run. This evening's plan is the Brighton beach area, especially as it's summer, but with a tiny bit of drizzle, the area should be relatively quiet. No DNFs, which is a great thing, and all plans were completed successfully. Looks like a football team meeting nearby. I'm glad they were just far enough away, and I was able to spot this one straight away. Great viewsThanks for the cache, gmj 3191.Hunter
Quick find and another local cache ticked off. Great spot and nice to get off the bike here and take in both the northerly and southerly views. Ttfc
Following a log mentioning cross threading, the threads were greased and the missing o ring was replaced. Should be smooth now.
This was a really quick find although we did struggle with putting the cache back together. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Out to caching in this area with OHC and GT37, nice beach but very windy today. gmj3191, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
A day out with Geoturtle37 and pwala, caching the burbs.A quick find at gz. A bit of trouble getting the cache back together as it appears it had been cross-threaded at some stage. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, gmj3191 ~~
Great views are listed in the description but that was an understatement today, as they were spectacular!it was the perfect day with the sun shining and little wind to attend Letthemeatcache's event and find this cache. As I approached GZ, another cacher I met earlier in the morning, at the sidetracked tunnel was searching and as I joined in, two more familiar faces arrived. Thanks for hiding this decent sized cache in a brilliant spot.
10:55I hadn't time to look for this on the way to LTEC's anniversary celebration, so n0w0rries and I came back this way afterwards, to discover the cache in the hands of a couple of other attendees. Thanks, gmj3191.Now, I'm off on the train to a delayed Christmas Dinner #2 via V-Line.#8163
Found with Ronice88 after nearby event cacheaversary by LetThemEatCache. Gorgeous morning and I pretty sure half of fab Melbourne was at the beach today. Ronices eagle eye immediately honed in on the cache. thanks so much for this cache - what a glorious spot! Awesome to have that during COVID lockdowns - I just had paddocks and cows!regardskbucky
**06/01/2024, 09:19:00****Find #5641****Traditional Find #3369**I headed up to this part of Melbourne, a part I seldom go to, for an event and to find a few caches. I made a point of getting an early start so as to beat the muggles that this weather would bring out. I had by now made my way to the event GZ but with the sausages not yet cooked, I headed over here with Bundoorian and Grub62 where we made a quick find of a well camoed cache.**Thank-you to gmj3191 for placing this geocache**
Found by Mary and David at 10:20. A nice walk from where we parked for the Event. Your in box will get a few logs tonight. We don't get over this side of the Westgate very often so, with such a lovely day, we took the opportunity to do a few more. A lot of muggles walking around today, but GZ was relatively clear and, with just a little stealth, we had no trouble. Our thanks to gmj3191.
6 January 2024 9:18 am Saturday bunadoorian. Grub62 and I were attending a nearby event and thought we would check out this cache. It was in good condition. TFTC
Travelled bayside today to celebrate LetThemEatCache 5 year cacheversary! After a relaxing time, LeeLee set off with micaparamedic to firstly tick off Frankston LGA then pick up a few other random caches along the way. This was the first as is was close to the event. A lovely spot and many early beach goers enjoying the fine weather. Thanks gmj3191 The **Ballarat GeoTour** ends on 4 March 2024! bunadoorian, biggles1024 and myself came to find this cache whilst the sausages were cooked at the event nearby. While I started looking a metre away biggles1024 went straight to it. The view from here of the beach was great especially on this very sunny day. TFTC and for bringing us here gmj3191.
After walking along the beach and admiring the beach boxes in the heavy rain the weather is now improving so I spent some time looking at the Art Trail signs at the lookout and then made a quick find here while there were no muggles around.Thank you gmj3191 for this cache.
We came out early this morning to look at this area for a potential spot to hold an event. Stunning views, close to public transport, food, water, toilets, a pub (as such), AND several quality caches in the area including this one. WINNING!Thanks gmj3191 for the accurate coords and placing this cache for our geo-enjoyment. Cache on *Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Explore. Dream. During my stay in Brighton I went for a bike ???? ride along the bay and visited the **The Green Point Cache**I found it without any problems. Thanks gmj3191 for contributing to the game by this cache. TFTC ??????
Out and about on PTV today, heading for an event to meet 'Auntie Therese' from Switzerland. Afterwards I teamed up with Muzza to grab a few caches in the general area of a few 'burbs. Having a previous finder in tow pointed me to the correct area and the cache was soon located, signed and returned as found. Thanks gmj3191 for placing this cache.
On the way to the COTY Awards, stopped here for a quick ish find..the flies are out in swarms, which means winter is goingThank you gmj3191, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.Follow my story on Instagram @AlphaDeltaIndigo
Well got beat up getting this cache because I dropped it and had to go hunt and retrieve. Its placed back and signed. Stupid mistake on my part. TFTC! All the way from Texas, USA
This was a nice quick find, all the muggles were following the path but not me. Thanks gmj3191 for placing the cache. now for a walk on the beach.
We were in the area today, doing some tidying up of caches, and grabbed it. Such a perfect day and great views. Thanks gmj.
Luckily a very quick find on such a perfect day!! Lots of muggles around enjoying the sunshine; log quickly signed and moved on! TFTC
This had me searching in the wrong places initially and actually took two visits in the end and frustrated me quite a bit. The first visit, a muggle thought it was a good idea to take up the entire seat and read his book. I mean, talk about inconvenient! The voices in my head started having a conversation...'He's allowed to be there.'' I don't give a damn. He should move on and find another seat.''Just tell him what you're doing. Maybe he'll be curious.''I don't want to disturb him. I have to sit it out and see if he leaves.''He may be there all afternoon.''You're right, we'll come back tomorrow.'Upon return, the seat was vacant. Ironically, the seat has nothing to do with the cache and there is another seat a few feet away. The cache appeared and I retrieved the log and signed on my seat in privacy. I don't recall having an issue unscrewing the container, but gee I must have had the wrong angle screwing it back on, as it squealed and grinded like crazy but I got it back on properly in the end.Great location here. Thanks to the CO!
This one somehow we found tricky to find. It was exactly as described, nicely tucked away. Nice job! gmj3191
Track work took me here. The train from Frankston cut out at Moorabbin, so hopped on a replacement bus to brighton. A beautiful point to come to for a cache, worth a fav thank you
A few surfers and cyclists around, so sat on the nearby seat and read through previous logs to ascertain what the hide may look like. Did a quick look-see in the bushes when the muggles were busy, sat down again to wait for another chance, and then spotted it on a third dive into the bushes! Waited for a clear chance to grab the hide and sat on the seat to sign the log.

We are spending a week in Melbourne & headed to Brighton today to look at the bathing sheds then to the Brighton Beach hotel for a yummy lunch. When we headed over to search for this one there was a guy sitting on the bench near GZ, we thought he was paying no attention to us but after an unsuccessful search he asked us if we were looking for something & if so it was over there! We thanked him, signed the log & continued on our way.
Thanks for the cache gmj3191
Thanks for the cache gmj3191
After having to grab a pencil at the aquarium to sign a log yesterday, we have left the hotel without it!! Included a photo of the log. Great stop, favourite point from me! Tftc

In the area for a couple of caches on my way home. Surprisingly difficult to spot for such a big container.
Thanks gmj3191 for the cache
