Found by Mary and David at 17:03. Back in mid-September, our group planned a couple of days at Bright to tackle the SNOMO and F.L.A.K.E. caches. Today we started at the top of the Old Coach Road and cached our way down the mountain. Then we did the caches along the West Ovens Track, before tidying up some unknowns, trads and multis close to town. Finished off the day with a delicious dinner at the Harrietville Hotel. Our thanks to Ronice88.
Much puzzle solving and planning prior. Log signed as VIC1. Found today with maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, Rabbitto, feathertop and ThePacman. Thanks for placing the cache Ronice88.
Found today in company of maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, McLookers, feathertop and ThePacman. Log signed as VIC1. Found before heading to the lake. Thanks from D B-A
Out today around Harrietville with Maccamob, Micaparamedic, McLookers, Rabbitto, Pacman, Alansee, Feathertop concentrating mainly on the SNOMO caches, and a few others along the way. All caches found in good order. Signed or stamped as Vic1.Thanks to Ronice88 for the cache.
The SNOMO series of caches first attracted my attention in the Covid years. Being a mountain and snow person myself I found the puzzles to be both interesting and challenging. I knew some clever logistics and planning amidst seasonal road closures would need to be considered. A group of us made plans for 2 days here.Log signed as VIC1. Found today with maccamob, Muzza, Alansee, micaparamedic, Rabbitto, Mclookers and ThePacman. Thanks Ronice88
Second day with a Group of cachers who also collaborated on the puzzles. We had a most enjoyable two days in the area. Many thanks for all the caches. Signed as Vic1.
Sometime ago my parents offered to take me to Mt Buffalo with them to go camping and have some fun. With my caching mind going in full force I checked out the surrounds and a large snowman is bound to attract some attention! With that I went on a puzzling solving spree on the week that followed and today got to visit Harrietville to dip my toes into some of the series! Some interesting puzzles in the mix, and a lovely variety of containers in some cool locations, thanks for the series Ronice88! I'll be back to finish what I started soon I imagine!A fun puzzle here, knew what to do once I found the key and after a bit of corrections I got the right numbers. Retrieval was rather enjoyable as well!
Found by The Empire + HAfter arriving in Harrietville, we made our way to the Tronoh Dredge Reserve, a serene spot known for its picturesque walking trails and history. The reserve was once the site of gold mining, and today, the remnants of that era can still be seen amidst the tranquil surroundings. We followed the trail around the lake, its calm waters reflecting the surrounding trees and distant mountains. The walk was peaceful, with the sounds of birds and rustling leaves filling the air. The path wound through a mix of open areas and shaded pockets of forest, offering plenty of spots to pause and take in the beauty of the reserve. As we circled back, the history of the area was evident in the landscape, but nature had long since reclaimed it, making the Tronoh Dredge Reserve a perfect blend of heritage and natural beauty. Only here for a lap with the nephews today, we'll be back another day to finish the rest of this fun series. Thanks for the cache Ronice88.-M
Up bright and early today we were out the door well before 9am! Today we were concentrating on Snomo caches and any others we came across. We had solved the clever snomo caches in bits and bobs since they were published, down to a stubborn few which we then solved on a girls puzzle night Finally our first Snomo cache for the day lol and GMelb made short (or is that tall?) work of this one and we set off for a lovely walk around the dredge hole I remember this puzzle ... it gave us nightmares lolol We needed help from the Puzzle Girls to solve this one! ohhhhh on the way to this one we spotted the new Harrietville Bush Kinder area and LOVED it!!! As there were children there I couldnt take photos of the area for my Kinder but the story continues in a later log!!! lol TFTCRonice88 - GJMMelb
Well Im glad thats all over. Final puzzle solved (again with help from theOwner), and last cache grabbed to finish the artwork. This took way too long to read the instructions, and way too long to locate the cache at GZ. Eventually the crowds cleared and I could do the necessaries thanks heaps for a brilliant series, heaps of cool tricks, some insane leaps of logic but all good fun. And I JUsT managed to finish in the day. 39k steps - Im off to soak in the Ovens to get the stench off!!
Found it! A morning of caching had depleted our energy and after a hearty lunch of sausage rolls and coffee we headed off for an afternoon walk and some more caching. Of course! At GZ it took a moment to spot the cache and then a few more moments to reach it. The log book was quickly signed and cache returned to itself hiding place and all was good in the world or geode! I really enjoyed the puzzle once I figured out what was required. So much to learn with this series of puzzles. TFTC and new information! SL and cache is in good condition!
Today I teamed up with SnipsnCo, Tiz13 and CracknLeeLee, otherwise known as Fish Attack 4.The Fish Attack team were about to become one less but before Lee Lee could depart, she did the honours of retrieving this cache for us.after venturing this beautiful location, I am inspired to solve the snowmo and flake for a return visit or two!!
I have been waiting for myself to finish all the SNOWMO puzzles before hunting for them but this one, which I had solved was just right where I was and I couldn't resist but search. The gang of Tiz13, Kristysadventures, Crack'n'LeeLee and Kate searched all about, with Crack'n'LeeLee making the find! We signed as Fish Attack 4 I think We had just finished when another team arrived. Did we give them a hint? Oh no no!The puzzle... it was a tricky one and I did use some expert guidance during the solve. The great thing is I now know a new puzzle trick that I had not encountered before. Thanks Ronice, for the puzzle, the cache and the series. I'll be back!
a very tricky puzzle to solve for me - yep, called in the geoid cavalry!Out with weirdobiker to do a crazy "we can find them all while we are here" missionI think we did but...there were so many!Ronice88 thank you so much for luring me here with your imaginative, creative, educational crazy puzzles. Have really loved my journey solving and finding your Snowmo & F.L.A.K.E series. You make geocaching the peak of all caches.
With SciFiRulz, Kbucky, CybergranV and Weirdobiker, we came here to complete the requirements for the Virtual cache. That was fun, then I noticed I had solved this puzzle some time ago, so signing it was a must. Noticing a group of cachers had just located it, I knew I was in the correct location. A couple of minutes later the container was in hand. Thanks again for this wonderful series, Ronice88.
Visiting the area to attend a few events over the cup weekend. After a wonderful group paddle on William Hovell Dam yesterday, Harrietville was the target today. Fish Attack 4 ( Tiz13, Kristysadventures, Snips and Co and LeeLee) group attack again and the last one for LeeLee as she heads home. Team work here with the puzzle solved, cache found and signing duties complete. Thanks Ronice88
Fish Attack 15 became Fish Attack 4 as Snips and Co, Kristysadventures, Crack'n'LeeLee muggle Kate (who we are trying to convert) and l continued onTo this cache following the fun Virtual. LeeLee took the honours.

The OSHFAM clan including geo dog Roxy came up to Punkah for a few days to spend time in our shack before school starts next week. On Saturday lunchtime, I sent the family home and Roxy and I stayed on for an extra night on our own enjoying caching adventures in Harrietville together. We arrived around 2pm and didn't get back to the shack til 9.40pm exhausted. We had the best day.
I remember when the SNOMO puzzles were published and I solved them together with 2 others. We did a SNOMO solving marathon over a few days. This puzzle proved difficult for me and I was helped with solving it. The final hide proved a little challenging for me particularly as there were spider webs around and I'm sure there was a spider or two lurking in the crevices. Finding a big stick nearby helped.
Thank you for the puzzle and cache here Ronice88

Day 2 in Harrietville with the aim of finishing off the snow man.
Access to this next few caches was a lot of fun and gave us the chance to put Nina Nissan through her paces.
I enjoyed this puzzle, really interesting subject matter.
We made the find after parking nearby for our picnic lunch.

I can’t make the Mega next weekend so I decided that the offer of two event types in Harrietville on the one day to have a crack at improving my number of cache types in a day. I even convinced the kids to come (the geohound was happy to have a day out). A bit of planning meant that success was achieved - 10 cache types (+ AdLabs) signed for the day (despite only signing 15 caches and 12 AdLab points). Very happy with that.
Second cache type for the day - mystery. A bit of a cheat here - I signed this on the last visit (previous CITO) but hadn’t made the claim as I hadn’t solved the puzzle. So a bit of work this week and the cache was solved (quite a tough one here). Claimed this one before we started pulling weeds.
TFTC Ronice88- need to get cracking on the rest in this series now.

With the MEGA now finished we headed off to camp at Smoko while we explored Harrietville and the surrounds. The weather is a little more overcast today so we thought it would be perfect temperature for a walk.
OzHockeyChick was just commenting that the water looked a little uninviting and stagnant when we saw the signs saying the waterhole was closed due to an algae bloom. A relatively quick find here at GZ.
Thanks Ronice88 for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

It’s MEGA Road Trip time!! A plan is hatched and we are good to go.
DAY FOUR: Harrietville
Very clever puzzle requiring good observation skills.
At gz, I spotted and retrieved the nicely tucked away cache as RoamingHowie was still making his way over.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Ronice88

I can now claim this find after finally solving it. The log was signed back on the 4th December at the CITO and after a brief look at the puzzle I put it in the 'too hard' basket. With a bit of persistence I surprised myself to workout some very good coordinates, but I just couldn't quite get the checker to agree. Thanks to the CO for a little nudge and an adjustment the coordinates fell into place.
These puzzles are just amazing, so much variety and trickery to keep us on our toes. Hopefully I will eventually finish solving the remaining few and make another trip and spend more time exploring Harrietville in the coming months.
Thanks again Ronice for a very challenging puzzle cache that I needed to solve before claiming the find.

I signed this log book while at the CITO event on Saturday with SciFi Rulz even though I had not done the puzzle. I finally got the puzzle done and can now officially log a find. This is the first time I've done one of these type of puzzles so was happy when I got the green light with the correct coordinates.
Thanks for a very interesting puzzle Ronice

What a great geoart! I was super impressed when I first saw it and really looked forward to walking around to find all the caches. So many new puzzles to wrap my head around.
With a window of opportunity opening up this weekend I decided to head across to Harrietville for the CITO with my youngest Natalie, and then spend the day caching.
I put in a bunch of time trying to solve as many puzzles as I could, then teamed up with Geo friends to go about finding a bunch. Soooo grateful to have friends in this game!
We walked about 10km today and signed the logs CCDJN (J for Jamin) to save space in the books.
Huge thanks to Ronice88 for this big effort and contributing to the fun we all have playing this game!
This find was gifted to me by the CO before the CITO! Lucky me!

Found. What an interesting puzzle, I haven't done one quite like that before. Took a couple of shots to get the correct numbers, some were a little harder to identify than others. While in the area for a CITO this morning I found the Cache with weirdobiker, I supplied a ladder and she went up, although I saw others finding the cache later who didn't need extra tools. TFTC
Catnap777 and I spyed CybergranV collaring the guy that had the cache that had the log that now has our names adorning it.
TFTC Ronice88. We did have the solution to this wicked little SNOMO puzzle, but we were all too distracted by your delicious CITO scones to realise the hide was so close at hand.

Extraordinary Ronice88 . You are an inspiration to all in so many ways. This geoart is a thing of beauty, and the puzzles were varied and interesting and had elements of complexity and simplicity which was a perfect mix. The design of the cache containers was well thought out and they provided an interesting theme and were constructed in a way as to preserve the log in all types of weather. This whole series took clever planning and each area where the hides were placed was picturesque and serene, whether driven or walked. I cached this weekend with a perfect group of cachers and this weekend in particular outlined why I love this game so much. It is this calibre of caches that make this hobby a pleasure and I only hope that this series will inspire others to start hiding their own caches in the near future. To sum up my experience here; I will be back with my man to continue this journey, and start another, as we have not conquered this mountain yet. Some caches in the series were signed with this acronym CCDJN; it spells "The A team". Thank you to all who were involved in this weekend .
Out first Snomo find.
What a great variety of puzzles in one snowman.
We were at a nearby cito event and this gz just happened to be close by.
Thanks Ronice cant wait to find the rest in the series

Out in the area today. Whilst attending the CITO.
Interesting puzzle.
Nice easy park and grab, then off to help remove some prickly weeds.
Thanks for the fruit and scones after the event.

I nearly missed this one.
After the CITO I was so busy spreading the scones with jam and cream, and cutting up the fruit for the hungry horde, I forgot to see what caches there were in the area.
Luckily I spotted this one being replaced and was able to add our names to it.
Thanks Ronice for this cache and the tricky puzzle that had us all puzzling for a while.

The day started off nicely, but quickly went to WET when we were at Harrietville!
We got a few done there before getting soaked (us and the doggies!)
The rain didn't look like it was going to stop in the next few weeks so we set off for Mt Beauty where we are staying. We shall return for a few more SNOMO caches.
Our first SNOMO cache. We solves several over the last couple of days, and thought we would drop in and grab a few today.
Really enjoyed the puzzle. Made a slight mistake that BB spotted.

Thanks, Robmc.

#18058. Having not been away anywhere for almost 2 years Rob suggested we book a couple of nights at Mt Beauty. We had no sooner done this than WHAM Ronice88's GeoArt SCOMO hit my emails. Rob immediately started to work through them, getting more and more grey hair by the minute.
So today it was a Bright, Harrietville, Mt Beauty day with 15 finds and 2 DNF's. The weather ruined our caching time at Harrietville so we will return when the weather is better.
Whoo hoo here we are at the first SNOMO for the day at last - 12.20pm. {FTF}. A very interesting puzzle to solve and only got the green tick last night when Rob got me to double check it. A bonus for the list. There will be no trouble with this one staying nice and dry. A good start and off to the next one.
Thanks Ronice88
