Thanks thehunnybunnys for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Red Hills Cemetery, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #1851 at 10:53 on 3/8/2024. FTF: Found with: swampy Weather: cold Muggles: none Light level: good Cache condition: good Distance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Hi thehunnybunnys. Today I found your cache .A quick plan was hatched last night and this morning put into action. We met up at Brighton and headed up the road to Elderslie to complete our fishing trip and then headed via lots of caches to the event at National park. Thanks for hiding the cache for me to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5056 and I found it at 10:54 on Saturday 3 Aug 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: noneMy EPE: Condition: GoodWeather: overcastMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)
TFTC. With the much needed recent rain I was reluctant to drive in and look for this one as I would normally. I paced around wondering if was even worthy of a DNF. Then I saw something out of the corner of my eye, I back tracked a foot and their it was. Nice to get this one and stay dry.
We came south today for three main reasons: to find a multi on 21 November to fill a gap in our calendar; to visit our daughter and her partner; and to attend the Solstice Event tomorrow. The multi we targetted was the Clyde River Platypus Walk at Hamilton. Of course, this trip provided an opportunity to find other caches, particularly from Hamilton to New Norfolk.Until we saw this cache on a list, we did not realise that the Red Hills Cemetery overlooked Bushy Park. There were excellent views. We spent a little time looking at the headstones - some families have many of their members buried here. There were also two workman who were working on the stump of a recently fallen large tree, with the early stages of a carved image appearing in the stump. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks thehunnybunnys for the cache and for bringing us to this uniquely located cemetery.
I have recently acquired a squid pole, so Zozetta and I planned on using it today for the SSF series near Gretna. Our plan was to drive up to Gretna and find the caches on the Lyell Highway between New Norfolk and Gretna, then find the caches at Gretna, before moving on to the SSF series. To start off with things went quite well, we had to miss one of the caches we planned to get as there were some muggles nearby, and we couldnt find a way to access one of the ones at Gretna, but we found all the others and then moved on to the SSF. We had found one in that series and were about to find another when Zozetta noticed that the fuel gauge was a bit low so we decided to drive to Hamilton to get petrol as that was the closest petrol station according to Google maps (Google maps was wrong and it was twice the distance to Hamilton than we thought it would be). It turns out that there isnt any petrol at Hamilton, just diesel, so we went to Bushy Park where there was petrol, but then made a wrong turn going back to Gretna and ended up heading towards New Norfolk instead! In the end we made it back to the SSF series and found nine caches in it, part of our fifteen for the day, and two DNFs. We didnt get as many find as we had anticipated, but I enjoyed all the different detours as they took us to some very nice locations that I wouldnt normally have visited. We came to Bushy Park to get petrol as there was only diesel at Hamilton and while there, decided to get this cache. We had no problems getting to GZ, and the cache was a quick find as well, which was lucky as we usually struggle with hangers. I enjoy cemetery caches, so thanks for placing this here! Thanks for the cache thehunnybunnys!
Dencoxclan has done well spotting the hangers quickly today!! Interesting place to come. And I was mighty happy to see the Bushy Park Roadhouse after failing to get petrol at Hamilton (diesel only there!). Wonderful, wonderful spot on a perfect day with gentle breeze and celeste skies.TFTC!!
Caching around Tasmania. TFTC.
A very windy, wild day to be doing a cemetery cache.
A very windy, wild day to be doing a cemetery cache.
We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. No, not that easy. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to thehunnybunnys for the generation of this nice cache Red Hills Cemetery (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

It was time to go out and earn the first souvenir of 2023 so SSR and I decided we'd visit the New Norfolk market and grab a few caches 'in the area'. We talked about heading passed this one a few times as we'd headed to Strathgordon and Adamsfield and it was time to stop, not go pass, this time.
A quick find by SSR, it's one that could have taken ages!
Great views over Bushy Park Estates
Thanks thehunnybunnys

Spent a few hours touring the area on New Year’s Day, found a few caches along the way. GZ was dead quiet(excuse the pun) I normally cringe when I see the word Hanger in a hint, but I had. I trouble Spotify this hide.
Thanks for the cache.

We have been wanting to come out this way for awhile as we wanted the do some maintenance on 2 of our caches. We were grandchildren free for most of the day and no appointments so we decided to do our maintenance run and do a few caches that have appeared since our last visit!
What a lovely cemetery, which is a bit weird but great views, hope the locals appreciate it.

out and about with 3 Lil Rafas today caching, to finish off my holidays, good dogs to sit in the car all day and meet my sister in law and her 2 dogs, in the country. TFTC TNLN log dry. a quick find at GZ, a beautiful day for travelling, very dry an this area. I have been here before and the trees that housed the cache were gone hence another cache all together.
Out for the day with Geo Adult E mainly to replace a couple of caches in the fisherman series. Decided to grab a cache either way. Grabbed this cache on the way up to the series.
Great location, with some nearby views over bushy park being well worth the stop. Actually there were a couple sitting and having a coffee (or tea) just taking in the view

Camping and caching in the old home town. Its a long time since I've walked the streets of Norfik. Went to New Norfolk Primary School many moons ago, but we won't go there ! Went to the market first thing, 6 caches before lunch, and now on a circuit to Bushy Park, Gretna and Hayes. This place has special significance for me and my family, as my mother's ashes were scattered here in 2016 to be with her Shoobridge ancestors. Found cache after drawing a little blood during the process of groping around in the Exocarpus cupressiformis (native cherry) which even had a few ripe cherries on it. Thanks hunnybunnys for another excuse to revisit. Take a favourite in memory of my mother and my 5 great aunts.
We remember coming up here before a cache. Great views from the top and this time of year the hops are very green and bushy. A tricky hide but we spotted it easily with good coords. TFTC!

What great views. No doubt the residents here deserve this spot. Heading out for a days drive and picking up a few caches before we head back to WA. SL
Thanks for the cache thehunnybunnys.
What a great day to be out and about geocaching. It's been a little for me, but with a new addition to the household, it was time to do some geocaching training. With her big brother to show her what to do, the new 16 week old GeoGSP took it all in her stride.
This was our last cache for the day before stopping at the dog park in New Norfolk on our way home.
This is a great spot for a cache, can't believe there wasn't one here already. Gorgeous views over the hop fields.
A nice quick find at GZ.

Out and about hunting down new caches that have recently appeared and after doing the close to home ones we ventured further afield. It was a day of mainly damp and rainy weather so luckily a quick find at GZ. I think we have been here before for a cache, so nice to return. A great view from a well maintained cemetery. TFTC
On my way back from Mt Field National Park, i ducked in to grab this one.
I was spoilt by such a great view as i walked to GZ from the entrance of the cemetery where i left the GeoMobile.
The 'Hanger' was spotted almost immediately which i'm a huge fan of given some of these hides can do my head in... actually, do my eye's in, ha ha.
{You either spot 'em straight away or you don't. Over the last 5 years i have learnt to just stop and slowly scrutinize very carefully and to not rush or skim-search in an effort to find it quicker, coz then it usually ends up taking longer and that's if you even find it }
Anyway, all Chuffed As! Bro, i was signing the dry log at 11:50 on Tuesday the 28th of September 2021.

Hi thehunnybunnys, thanks for the cache.
Was out and about with AlbyDangles today, mainly for him to do a bit of maintenance on his Adams Falls cache - a fantastic day despite the non-compliant weather.
We're on our way home, but couldn't resist calling in here, where luckily a very quick find after noticing a "glint" as I approached GZ.
Cheers, EPs.

Yay FTF
BothTaurusSix and myself were working from home today with lots on. So when we noted this morning that three new caches had come out in the West we said there is absolutely no chance of getting out there to get them today. As the morning rolled on into the afternoon we noted they still had not been found and started debating if we could justify taking the time to get them.
In the end we made the decision to compromise and set off to collect just the this first one, the one nearest to home, and the one that would not take too much time out of the rest of the day. This was a great compromise and we had a lovely afternoon drive in the sunshine and the bonus was we really like cemeteries so it was a very pleasant stroll to gz and we were very lucky to spot the cache straight away so nice quick find, log and replace. It is great that more caches are being placed TFTC
