second attempt and im giving up before i go nuts. i just cant quite get it. i think ive looked in all the obvious places. ive used as many clues and hints and past logs as i can and with a small amount of muggles i just cant keep going. weve been here for hours! i will be back!
After failing last visit we had no problems other than muggles with this one. Didnt take long for them to move on and we swept in, grabbed the cache, signed the log and popped it back where we found it! Awesome hide! TFTC
Raced across the road dragging miss 6, master 3 and my mother whose age we don't discuss. Luckily there was a playground to keep them occupied whilst I searched. I was dreading it's location as I saw a couple of muggles where I thought it would be, and it looked like they were settling in and about to get started on their lunch. I'd come this far and was not going to walk away without it, so instead, I initiated them! They were so excited and downloaded the app, as well as took photos of the find. I won this round!
It was really obvious when you find it! Great location kids had a great time. TYFTC
#33 - Such a simple yet clever hide. Had to be very patient as there were many muggles around as well as one napping on top of the picnic tables. There were also several broken glass bottles in the area. Miss 6 & 8 had a great time playing in the playground which we followed up with a walk along the pier.
Visiting the playground and having some lunch this afternoon. Knew what I was looking for as soon as I spotted what was at GZ and with a lot of muggles in the area discretely confirmed my suspicions. A bit more of a slide and came back to find the area empty, so a quick retrieval and sign before replacing the container. TFTC! This is a great park for the kids.
Myself and idontcachemuch are visiting Melbourne for the Kings birthday game this year.I'm very excited as I've always wanted to go to the big freeze game.We are also taking a trip with a hire car to the Mornington Peninsula on the Tuesday. It is so so cold down here today. Which a local friend tells me is normal... that sucks. We wanted to go for a walk to the beach. It started to rain... so we detoured to this cache instead.A relatively quick find here today. Thanks Beckgiz for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 4152 on the 11th of June 2024.
What a cute fun hide! HadMy Friend hold the baby while I fixed his shoes and grabbed it as we were surrounded by muggles! A great park for kids
Always too busy here so decided to try a quieter day ehich worked a treat Cache found safe and sound, log signed TNLN TFTC
Cool little Cache in a great hiding place. One of twisted our ankle trying to find it but we fought on to find it.Lots of people around so was VERY cautious. Thanks vey much Duckie Boys
Nicely hidden, but quickly found. Tourists have left the peninsula and barely a muggle in sight.
With dot558 and mitzi123456Walking around trying to get some smilesThanks fir the catch
A much cooler day to be out and about today. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks Beckgiz for the cache.
We have got way behind in our logging and are trying to catch up and get our caching in order.Life has been pretty hectic this year, and a lot of it has gotten in the way of efficient logging of finds. We want to thank all the Cache owners for providing an array of caches for us around our countryside and in our cities. We apologise for the generic logs. We must do this to get through the backlog.Unless otherwise specified, all the caches we found were in good order.Thank you, Beckgiz, for this Traditional cache.
Holidaying is Rue with some chums, I could not resist finding a couple of caches. I found this one within a reasonable time after reading through a few logs. Great spot for a cache.
Phew. I thought I would have have to admit to a DNF but perseverance paid off. On arrival at GZ I looked around that area for it but obviously not well enough. On my last it must be here somewhere look the cache was found. TFTC
Nice one! Hidden in plane sightWill need a slither of experience to know what you're looking for on this one
Yep. As I thought it might be. Great location Extraction harder than the find lol. Thanks for the fun.
Ive had it most lovely afternoon! Having worked on the other side of the Peninsula all year, I was inspired by todays warm weather and the start of daylight saving to get down to the beach. I went for a swim at McCrae beach and it was glorious in the water! I collected shells all the way along. After sitting on the sand I went for a walk to see the lighthouse. Then I ordered Indian takeaway for dinner in Rosebud and went to find this geocache while they were cooking. Great hide! As soon as I approached the structure I figured that it would be there. I used my phone/torch to locate what I suspected I was looking for, then just had to manipulate it to get access. Signed the log, picked up my dinner, and came back to the foreshore to eat in the fading light. Thanks for a great cache and for bringing me here
A quick find only because we work in a place that sells the camo great hide and stilk quite accessible
"From Queensland to Victoria, a treasure hunter's journey leads to hidden wonders in the park. Found the elusive geocache amidst nature's embrace, making unforgettable memories along the way. Adventure awaits!"
great cache! the lots of muggles made it hard but luckily we're young so it didn't seem so weird TFTC!!!
This one was a bit hard for us to find and get but we got there in the end. A very clever hiding spot for this one. Thanks for the cache!! ??
After a nearby appointment we headed down here for a look. Not too many muggles about since it is quite cold and windy this afternoon. n0w0rries quickly worked out where the cache was likely to be hidden and then I spotted something familiar looking. Keeping a close eye out for passing visitors we soon had the cache open and the log signed. Replacing it took a bit longer but we got there in the end.
Found with +Wife on our way home from Rosebud. A very sneaky hide that blends in really well. All in good order here. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache Beckgiz.
Seriously good hide. Blends in very well. This was our third visit here, not because we couldn’t find it but because there were always too many muggles around to attempt a grab. Today with a very threatening sky the prize was ours.
Thanks Beckgiz for the great hide and giving it a favourite point

Good Friday & sooooo many muggers around but I manage to find it Thanks for this one ️
It took us a little longer than it should have, but eventually spotted something we had seen before. TFTC
Unfortunately test driving new bikes and didn’t bring pen! Photo to prove we were here!
Found with Moonb1. We bumped into a couple of other catchers here and started searching. Fortunately it was soon found.

Had a feeling I knew what kind of hide this was going to be. After a little looking around. I was right. Thanks for placing I have come here on a glorious Saturday for a bike ride along the Trail. It is beautiful here.
That was so much fun! Still fairly new at this but we still managed to find it!

I can't believe I made it back here. I did not expect to be here again so soon. What a coincidence! As soon as parking up I remembered a DNF in the area, and pounced!

Und 4 Jahre später nochmal. . In dieser schönen Ecke der Welt einen Cache gesucht und gefunden . DfdC
A quick find after doing the Rosebud parkrun this morning. The geo-sense had us on it immediately.
Found by Bob at 1745
After having placed a pizza order, I had 10mins to wait and, as my GPS was already on, I decided that was enough time to walk 200m, hopefully make a quick find and then walk back. It took me 12mins as it was a very quick find, although a rather nice hide and not likely to be spotted by someone without a bit of experience
Thanks Beckgiz

This is right across the road from where we are staying. Sussed it out yesterday and today went to grab whilst waiting for fish and chips. Great playground. The local primary school were there having a play. TFTC
Found while having a picnic lunch…. Yum and TFTC…. Good excuse to stop for a break while walking the Bay Trail
Guessed correctly what I was seeking but took a long while as lots of stationary muggles about hampering my search. They eventually moved on and I was able to retrieve sign and replace quickly and unobtrusively TFTC Beckgiz
A few members of iTEEM enjoyed a short long weekend on the peninsula, and while the others slept in, I headed out to find a few caches.
After being muggles out yesterday, this morning not a soul to be seen, but I still couldn't find it.
Send a PAF message and moved on to find some others. With a hint received, I returned to find the cleverly disguised hide where I'd previously (not thoroughly) looked .
Nicely done, Beckgiz TFTC

Great playground! And luck for us there wasn’t to many people around. Full of natural treasures. Thanks for the cache
I forgot to log it on 6/7/2022. I found out from my personal note on way home from Sorrento ferry from Queenscliff. Thanks for placing this cache.
The kids wanted to find this one earlier in the afternoon but there were too many muggles around, decided to come back after dinner. We were back just before sunset with only 20 minutes of light left. After nearly giving up, we had one last minute check in the dark with the iphone torch leading the way and we found it. We forgot a pen so we will log another day! Thank-you for the tricky find!
We are down here for an anniversary weekend away and today the plan is find caches till it rains then either do maintenance on our own caches down here or logging if it is pouring as predicted! So far so good though! Our last one for the arvo as it was getting late. We had a bit of a look then a muggle family arrived nearish by. We discreetly kept looking around and then GMelb found the cleverly placed hide. Now to sign. I had stayed sitting at the picnic table so GMelb brought back to me to sign. We then decided we would tell the Muggle family what we were doing as we could feel them looking at us. The Parents were fascinated and then their older daughter came back from the Playground and had done geocaching before so knew what we were talking about. We gave them a geocaching.com card and there may well be some new cachers on the peninsula soon.
TFTC Beckgiz time to get dinner now! GJMMelb

Something was 'out of place'. Went for an evening stroll. Quick find... quite a fluke though. TFTC
