Yes, this was worth the walk. Pretty cool set up, very new too this as 2nd night out, love it so far, M.
Great hiding spot, having a phone torch definitely helped. This was the first one I found with my mother in law and we were both super excited. The log book was full but we put a little bit of extra paper in there
Almost sumpter me until I used some logic!Great cache. TFTCWill soon need a new log page?
I remember finding the previous cache here, was quite a cool spot as well.
This one was more difficult in the dark but knowing what to look for it didn't take too long.

Wow, I come to this one almost every night for work and it's taken me months of trying to find it with limited time.
I am so glad to have finally been able to have long enough to have a good looksie around.
Thank you so much for the cache, this is a brilliant hiding spot. The log is all signed.

An extended long weekend with lots of caching yay! The weather ended up being better than predicted and I had a ball thanks to all CO's!
I was so glad it was still very early as I was making a fool of myself here trying to locate the cache that was not even that difficult to find at the end... TFTC!!
South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - MEGA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!

Xmas is upon us and it seems everyone is far to busy to take any notice of me. TFTC!
Visiting from Melbourne. Walking with family and doing a nearby mystery, so had to grab this too.
Nice and easy with a short search.

found with kjj162. thanks for the nice cache took longer to find than it should of on whats probably the busiest road in nelson tftc
We had found the previous cache here a while ago and when it got replaced we knew where we had to be to look for it. Unfortunately this area is a hard one to find a park at, so today was a good day to hunt with everything closed. Took a while but eventually found. tftc
Mum asked if I would bring the kids to find and sign this cache as at that stage she was stuck on the other side of the Brightwater Bridge and could not get in to take the kids to the caching event.
As it turned out, they did get across the bridge but we had to go and shovel mud and sludge from some flooded houses up the top end of Richmond.
I siggned the log cary and d.l.h
Thanks for the cache

Nana rang dad this morning and asked him to bring us to find this cache so that we could help with the world record challenge.
Dad brought us for a walk and we found the cache - not where we thought it was going to be. Then dad had to go and help nana and grandad to shovel mud from great grandads house that was badly flooded.
thank you for putting the cache here

Sorry should have said on the last two logs that the log was signed cary and d.l.h to save room on the log

I recall logging the predecessor for this cache which took me a bit more to find. For this one it was an instant find in the first place I looked. All in good order. Thanks Sidewaze for a second cache today.
Back today with the whole family to rectify a dnf. Previously one of the engineers was in on the search, with advice being yelled from the window too, and we still no find. Today Mr NZH had the cache within a minute. TFTC
Last time we looked we found a hint item but it proved to be the wrong one so it was not surprising we couldn't find the cache. Mrs SoBad spotted the correct item today - but it took Sobad to find the cache.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found with Ulmuslynx on this beautiful morning search around and it wasn't long before we spotted the cache Thank you for the cache
A special day today requiring two finds and this is find #2. I’ve cuddled up to this machine before but today I also had to get down and dirty. A window opened and a guy stuck is head out to tell me where the last hide was. I told him that I thought that it had been replaced. I finally spotted the container with my now trusty phone torch but it still took me three attempts to find the slot that would give me the reach I needed. I happily waved the container in hand up at the window and it reopened with a wave and a thumbs up.

Heading back to where I parked the car so thought I'd grab this one on the way through. A quick find and found the required slot straight away. Thanks Sidewaze for the cache.
Found on 1 Jan 2022. 2nd find of the year. I had already found this one years ago. TFTC.
It can get quite busy here so I figured in between Christmas and new year would present a good ‘slot’ to take a look.
The original Slotter cache was one of my earlier finds so I was pleased so see the location given a new lease of life by the CO.
A few years of looking for of things in unlikely places made for a far quicker find than previously.
Thanks Sidewaze

Another early morning find before almost anyone was about and the hunt could be made without fear of being muggled. I was very pleased for the shelter of the advertising board while I was looking. I'm not sure if my log was that clear as the light was not great and my pen was playing up a bit. A second find for me also on this interesting piece of equipment. TFTC Sidewaze.
Yes! Third time lucky today. Wet weather kept the muggles at bay but didn't deter me. I took a slightly different approach to my search today and found the cache almost instantly. Nice to change a frown to a smiley. TFTC, Biggles.
A few Richmond caches for me this morning while RG pops out for a jog.
Last one was a DNF so was not overly confident, but had a quick look and its tail was easily spotted as the cache page said it would be, so all good. Good time to do it too, as there is a sign in front of it that was shielding me from the traffic. Thanks for resurrecting this one, didn’t realise the original was gone but it was a fave. TFTC Sidewaze.

Nice easy find with nanzie on our trip around the place Great day for chaching tftc
Sir belac and I headed out caching to get our numbers up nice park and grab .Thanks Sidewaze
I'm sick of crunching numbers on the computer today so out for a lunchtime walk. This one is in range of the office if I don't muck about. Didn't take long to spot, I remember finding the original one years ago. Thanks for the new one Sidewaze

School holidays, grandson visiting, beautiful caching weather and an Earth Cache souvenir aligned today. So time was allocated to combine outdoor activity and caching. The Mk1 version was among the first caches we found many moons ago. This beast of a machine also brings back memories of working with these kind of things. Thank you Sidewaze
I remember the last cache here, one of our first finds if my memory is correct. That was a clever hide and so is this one. Luckily no one about as we searched, signed the log and replaced the cache.
Thank you Sidewaze.
Thank you Sidewaze.
Took a bit of searching but managed to find it. It was placed further back and sideways so the cable tie wasn't visible. Replaced so that the tie is just showing if you look carefully in the correct spot. Thanks for the cache.
I do remember the other cache that was here, my my that was a long time ago. Good there is another one here now. TFTC
I was in Christchurch when the notification for this cache and several others came through. So I had a long time to think about if I should find it on my way home or not. It fits perfectly for a FDF challenge I am working on but if I don't find it today it will fit perfectly for another. Such a dilemma! In the end I decided to stop - 2TF after that long drive. I will never forget that clever hide of Southwards here - great to have another one now thanks Sidewaze. TFTC # 17,705
It just so happens that I needed a few things slotted, so I was already on my way over here when this was published. After I was sure the machine would not start up automatically, the find only took a few seconds to get the FTF. TFTC.
Thank goodness for the hint and a cellphone light which made caching in the dark successful, TFTC
Oh have I been here before??????
It was getting dark when I got there. My torch that has a cell saved the day. Found, signed and I sat in the car to log, so I wrote "found" and posted. As I was driving off I saw the next geocacher to find it after me looking around, or was it?
