I got the coordinates a week or so ago with a lovely trot and read of the local history at the lake.Today I thought Id drop off and finish the job on the way home and found a lovely surprise - a trackable! Thanks for the adventure, this is the cache that keeps on giving TFTC!

After attending the Blue Switch Day 2024 event a small group continued on making our way around the lake completing the adventure lab to get the final coordinates. Once at gz cache was quickly to hand.TFTC

Found after attending the Blue Switch Day 2024 event a small group walked around the lake. We all headed off to this bonus cache GZ. Thanks for the lab cache.

I surprised myself in doing the walk right around the lake in one go, in fact I did it easily. It was also very interesting and a well prepared display. I was also surprised by the location of the Bonus, well away from the lake. Thats the advantage of having a Bonus, I suppose. Our car GPS was tricked getting to GZ. Watch it and use a map!

We were in the general area completing a Parkrun. While Huntress ran another 2 laps of Parkrun, Puppy and myself ran an extra couple of kilometres and collected a geocache. Then we all met up again and, after doing some stretching, headed to Morwell for the event.Then, we went to the Morwell Lake to do the Adventure Lab. Great warm down walk while reading plaques and answering questions. Then, once the Adventure Lab was fully completed, we had to double and triple check the final coordinates. Didn't expect where the final took us. But it did mean Puppy got another walk to a different area, and I did eventually find it.Thanks for the cache, SKI Pair.Hunter

Found very quickly in a group assault following the AdLab and the Blue Switch Event we all attended today. Lovely sized cache and nice camo.TFTC

Another good tour. Off to the final we went. A bit sloppy but we made it in!! Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks SKI Pair and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! Nice walk although very wet under foot. Stopped off here after doind Ad Lab but looked high and looked low but no luck for us here today. Maybe next time.Thanks anyway

Staying at Blores Hill campground for two nights, we spent the day travelling across to Traralgon and Morwell, sightseeing and finding a few caches along the way. A funny thing happened here. After a considerable search there was nothing found at gz. I returned to the car to check previous logs then back again to the cache site. Still no success. On my way back to the car I found the cache container completely empty, leaning up against the gate post over 50 meters away. Back again to gz to relocate the cache to where I think it should have been. Thanks for the Adnventure Lab and bonus cache SKI Pair!

After breaking a months slump, we went in a caching rampage.This was one of the caches we came out to find.After doing the fun adventure lab and spotting our families name on the wall of immigrants, we were off.The BONUS was pretty fun, and our last cache for Saturday.TFTC SKI Pair#149

Woo hoo, I found the Gippsland Immigration Park AdLab Bonus this afternoon. In the end, the co-ords were spot on BUT it took a bit of hunting and searching to actually discover the cache as it was seriously covered in a lot of bush debris and a little damp. Thanks SKI Pair for setting up the AdLab and the Bonus, I enjoyed my time reading the Gippsland history boards around Kernot Lake and also visiting the Bonus cache area.

Found It!The final location for this one resembles a lake at the moment with all the rain that fell yesterday. I carefully walked along a log to get the last 10m to GZ without getting wet feet. Soon found the cache which was in surprisingly good condition given that it'd clearly been underwater recently.TFTC

Found by Mary and David at 11:15. Just wonderful. A FP, and we didn't know this great trail and all the information was here. We'll have to return and then linger to be able to read it all. Of course we made the entry to GZ T6. We have seen all the waterlogged areas nearby. Had to empty a lot of water from the container, and the log book was wet and a bit slimy, but we could carefully leave our mark. Home tonight after a month away for the final QOGM at Longreach. Our thanks to SKI Pair.

#3621 Found quickly after completing the nearby Adventure Lab and a little bush bashing in the heat. Thanks for a tremendous walk as the AL was outstanding. Really enjoyed everything about this experience.

We really enjoyed our walk around the lake learning about the immigrants and other local history on this warm afternoon. We realised after we had the coordinates we had to back track to gz but it was good to find ourselves at another nice location.

Looks like we need to check this one the next time we’re in Morwell

A powerful lot of water has whooshed through this area and maybe the cache has been washed away. No luck for us today. We did enjoy the AdLab though

Out on a very wet cold day

I completed this lovely and informative Adventure Lab quite some time ago but ran out of time for this bonus. Finally caught up today. A fav point for the total,experience Thanks SKI Pair

Following a nice (if not cold) walk around the lake collecting answers for the Adventure Lab we were give the coordinates for the final so off to GZ. A short walk from the car and a quick find revealed a nicely constructed container. Thanks to SKI Pair for the Ad Lab and the bonus and worth a favourite.

They're you go I have worked in Morwell for 10+ year and never knew this was here.. nice project...but IMO bad vibes there.

Found while travelling with sharkiefan, on an extended long weekend.

Today we headed east to our base camp in, getting caches on our list of "must gets" (but a couple of strays were found too)

An interesting trip that took just on 9 hours to complete the drive from Werribee to Sale.

After an interesting walk around the lake doing the ad lab, we headed off to this bonus cache GZ. A great grab to finish off the days caching.. now to get some food n find the motel

Hi there SKI Pair, we found your cache Bonus for Adventure Lab Gippsland Immigration Park today.

We’re staying in Churchill for a while before heading to the “big smoke” so Penny can get a new knee.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll around the lake picking up stages of the Adventure Lab. And of course the bonus was a bonus.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log are in good shape.

The third day of a hockey tournament is always tough, with the physical, mental, emotional and frankly social fatigue hitting pretty hard. I wasn't feeling particularly motivated, but this AL was a very pleasant way to finish off an otherwise fairly hot and listless day of caching. A stroll around the lake then a short drive later and I had the log signed. Thanks for the distraction and the interesting local info! TFTC and an FP from me.

After driving to Melbourne and back again I decided to stop and find this cache. I did the Adventure Lab a couple of weeks ago so it was great to finish off this challenge. I laughed when I saw the cache as I had just made some of these to put out in the future.
The bonus cache was defiantly a bonus!

Day 5 of the Bring In The New Year (BITNY) road-trip and a big day it is with my 6000th cache milestone, coinciding with the completion of the mammoth Victorian Premiers Challenge. Some LGA caching is thrown in also as we head back towards Melbourne.

Last caches for the day. I need a swim and an ice cream. A great lab and a nice bonus at the end.

The work year has finished, so it’s time to head off on another road trip - to explore ‘The Pointy End’.
DAY FIVE: Traralgon, Morwell, Heyfield.
This was our last for the day. After finishing off the AdLab on this rather hot day, it was nice to have a quick find… although we did need to hold our breath as we walked past a rotting animal somewhere nearby.

Lunch time and we were prepared with rolls from a deli near home. A bit of shade then we were on our way, learning lots as we went. A quick trip to GZ where the cache was found quickly and stamped. Thanks for the cache, and the adventure SKI Pair.

Micaparamedic and myself decided to go for an afternoon drive and try our luck at a couple of Adventure Labs out this way.

This was the second for the afternoon and a great one to finish with.

We really enjoyed the walk and all the information available along the doing the lab and we were rewarded with the coordinates for this one.

We headed off and too long after were parked and going for another little walk to GZ. Here Mica found the nice sized container in the first place he looked so all we had to do was add our name to the log.

I needed to visit Morewell after work today so when I was finished I worked my way through the Adventure Lab.
Moving the truck to a new location, I was pleased to see plenty of room to park.

A short stroll to GZ ended with a nice quick find of an excellent cache.

Wir machten einen Spaziergang und nahmen die Geschichte rund um einen Spaziergang auf, den ich oft mittags gemacht hatte, als ich in der Nähe arbeitete.

Wir hatten bald die Daten, die für die Fertigstellung des Labors erforderlich waren. Wir hatten keine Zeit vor unserer Buchung für das Abendessen.

Nachdem wir unser Lieblingsrestaurant genossen hatten, machten wir uns dann auf den Weg, um dieses Versteck fertig zu machen, und wir haben schnell einen Ort gefunden und das Logbuch unterschrieben an einem Ort, den wir für angenehme Abende geschickt haben, um die lokale Küche Deutschlands zu essen

wir machen uns jetzt auf zu einem lokalen lichterfest im nahegelegenen rosengarten

It's a coolish sort of a day with a few people wandering around the lake but there's nobody else in sight at these coordinates found quickly signed and replaced thanks for the bonus cache ski pair

Today was a perfect day to get out and enjoy some great weather. After a very enjoyable walk around the lake we were happy to enjoy another walk to gz. This was a well thought out A/L and bonus cache giving some context to an area that often receives some negativity. Thanks for this enjoyable cache which we gladly give a favourite point to.

I love that this is a bonus hide that's only available once you complete an adventure lab, I love the location the co-ordinates bring you to, I never knew this place existed even though I use to walk near here many years ago. Geobae found the cache container first TFTC

Hey, look at that! I found it! I enjoyed a lovely walk around Kernot Lake, completing the Adventure Lab there, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Then I thought I may as well follow these coordinates to see if I can find the cache… and I did! The coordinates were spot on and my geo-senses started tingling as I neared GZ. I took a coin and left a little Gnome. Thank you so much for this cache, and the Adventure Lab!
