08:43With lots of corrected coordinates and green icons on the geo map, it is time for a visit to Wagga Wagga with Suscoe to clean the geoboard a little. The first day of our tour around Wagga Wagga with Suscoe finding a few Lab caches as well as geocaches. The weather was a lot more suitable for geocaching with bright sunny skies, unlike the previous day with rain, rain, rain. This was one of the caches we found, the majority being either bison tubes or eclipse mint tins, with the occasional sistema or berocca thrown in for good measure. Our thanks to 'MrsRoosta' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.38228*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
Suscoe was out caching with our good friends Phetlern today around Wagga Wagga. It was a pleasant day in the low 20s with a mild breeze and lots of sunshine. We enjoyed the range of caches found today,Thanks to MrsRoosta for this hide.
At the RAAF base to do the Virtual and Lab and a quick walk away and we grabbed this cache too. Love the planes display, very cool. Thanks MrsRoosta, a great spot to welcome people to Wagga here.
Quick grab while at the raaf. A great spot to stop & stretch the legs. Tftc MrsRoosta
Reperio 12:00Day 2 of our trip to Wagga Wagga, and Master Vitruvius and I camped out a Oura for the night. Given it was a weekday, we stayed out of the city area until later in the day, and instead went searching for caches out of town, most of which were nice drive by caches. We moved on to the Pub Crawl series, following with some W2T and T2W caches, and then a host of other caches along the way before heading back into Wagga Wagga to camp for the night. A great day of caching.Gratias MrsRoostaAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Heading back to ACT after a 3 week trip deep into SA as far as the flinders ranges. A quick find outside wagga. Tftc
Always nice to be welcomed to a town. Visiting the nearby base. When we came and found this one. TFTC.
I did not have much to do today, so I decided to create a trip to Forest Hill. Upon arrival at the rest stop, before heading over to the RAAF Base for the AL and other caches, I made this quick and easy find. This cache was the third find of the day. TFTC!
Day 14 of my interstate trip. Today I left Oura and continued to head closer to Sydney but only got as far as Grenfell where I stay for the night. I managed to find 20 caches today and ended up with 2 DNF's today.First find of the day cool area here worth a visit.TFTC MrsRoosta
A quick find and sign whilst visiting the RAAF Historical Centre. Well worth the visit on a weekend.
In the area, so decided to pick up a few caches. No muggles in the area made for a quick find. Signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, MrsRoosta, for us and others to find.
A sad moment - my last Wagga Wagga cache for the trip and perhaps the whole day. I'd done the RAAF caches nearby (as well as the museum of course) and thought I'd best complete the cluster on the map. I'm quite keen on service clubs and always like to see these signs on my travels. Long may they continue. And now, with log signed and cache replaced, it's time to drive back to the Wollondilly. And the northern end too.
Arriving in Wagga for a GNSW event later this afternoon, I stopped here to check out the aviation display and AL. A straightforward find here, now for the AL bonus cache. TFTC MrsRoosta.
We were banding at the Weddin Mountains but as todays temperatures were going to be very hot we planned to finish early - wasnt quite the 10AM departure but gave me a chance to collect a few more caches. Was a bit of a zig-zagging route home but the time in the car was pleasant (didnt hit 40 just until I got near Albury). While walking around the AdLab I did a quick diversion and soon had this cache in hand.TFTC MrsRoosta
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 17: After another night camping on the Murrumbidgee River, it was back into Wagga Wagga for some more exploring. After exploring the nearby museum, this was a nice and quick find. Thanks MrsRoosta for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Walked the geopup from the caravan park to look at the planes and stretch the legs after a day’s drive. Wished we could walk in the no man’s land between the fences so she could go off lead, but this cache was a consolation. Thanks Mrs Roosta for this welcome to Wagga

Out with K8TYBEE, Sebass and GLISS! checking out some of the awesome silo and water tank art the Riverina has to offer. Managed to grab a few trads, a couple of multis (that we solved last trip but ran out of time to get) , a smattering of AL's and some virtuals! In the first place I looked, but I didn’t spot it. So I looked in a few unlikely spots for some minutes until common sense took over…then I went and said hello to the F-111!
